Haku slowly opened his eyes. Everything was dark, and thin strands of silk were wrapped around his wrists.
"Hello, Haku." Annabelle.
No. No no nonononono. It wasn't supposed to happen, not again, the pendant was broken ! It burned, the Web shouldn't be able to bring him back again, he was supposed to be dead. For good.
"Oh don't you panic, dragon." Her hand on his skin, on his cheek. He flinched away violently, and she pulled away.
"… As you wish. I don't know how you managed to break the bond, but it's a good thing I managed to get a hold of you again before you died. I'll have to thank our friend in that dimension."
Who. Who at Marineford could have been a Web avatar powerful enough to forcefully link him back to Annabelle. She blinked at him. Did she always have so many eyes ?
"You know, I've been thinking. I have learned too. I don't think you'd need a new pendant…"
