Our Super High School Level Helldivers! (Part 1)
The Heavy Hitters (The Frontline)
• Nekomaru Nidai (The Loader): He doesn’t just carry the Recoilless Rifle; he is the Recoilless Rifle. He’s the teammate who stands in the open during a Bug Breach, screaming about "GUTSY SPIRIT" while reloading your autocannon in record time.
• Akane Owari (The Berserker): She refuses to use a primary weapon. She prefers the Jump Pack and the Stalwart, diving headfirst into a swarm of Terminids just for the adrenaline (and the promise of rations afterward).
• Peko Pekoyama (The Infiltrator): The specialist. She uses the Anti-Materiel Rifle with terrifying precision, picking off Devastators from 200 meters away before they even see the squad.
The Support & Intel
• Chiaki Nanami (The Tactician): She treats the entire war like a high-score run. She stays glued to the stratagem map, perfectly timing Orbital Strikes. If the mission rank isn't an "S," she’s disappointed.
• Kazuichi Soda (The Chief Engineer): He spends his time frantically repairing the Exosuits and complaining about the "shoddy craftsmanship" of the Sentries. He’s terrified of the Automatons because "they don't have souls, man!"
• Mikan Tsumiki (The Combat Medic): She is constantly stimming people—sometimes before they even need it. She’s terrified of the bugs but her "need to be needed" keeps her running into the line of fire to revive teammates.
Nagito Komaeda - The Scavenger
He wanders off alone, triggers three "Large Outposts," survives by pure luck, and somehow finds all the Super Samples.
The Wildcards
Gundham Tanaka. The "Exo-Pilot"
He refers to his Patriot Exosuit as his "Mechanical Steed of the Apocalypse." He claims the Terminids are "hell-beasts" he has yet to tame.
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu
The Squad Leader
Constant yelling. He’s the one demanding everyone "get to the Pelican" while he covers the extraction with a Senator revolver.
Hajime Hinata - The “Average” Diver
The POV character who is just trying to survive the sheer incompetence and insanity of his teammates.
Mahiru Koizumi: The Combat Photographer / Recon Specialist
Mahiru is the one who actually makes the Helldivers look like heroes. She’s the team’s anchor, keeping the more "eccentric" members in line.
• Role: Long-Range Intel & Map Management. She carries the Jump Pack to get to high ground, not for flashy kills, but to get the best angle for her "Battlefield Documentation."
• Signature Gear: The Anti-Materiel Rifle or Diligence Counter Sniper. She views through her scope like a camera lens—lining up the perfect shot to take out a Scout Strider.
• The Vibe: She’s constantly scolding the boys for "playing hero" and getting their armor dirty. "If you’re going to die for Super Earth, at least do it in a way that looks good on a recruitment poster!"
