Chapter Text
Crickets, mosquitoes and other insects chirp as the Sun begins to set in a quiet town in Japan, as the quiet sets in a loud strum of guitar breaks through the natrual silence birds chirped and squirmed as the sound came in grueling waves. Houses around the loud sound erupted yelling and screaming at a gray, navy roofed house. The house shook and tremored violently, a short teenage boy with orange hair and blue eyes leaned out the window, a shiny red guitar hitting the window with a bang.
The young boy yelled out into the community of houses “Shut up! Don’t you hear im practicing!” He pushed himelf off the window, grabbing the windowsill slamming downwards as he walked away, he mumbled to himself quietly “Old hags don’t know real music when they hear it.” He slowly threw his guitar onto his bed and strolled up to his calendar, turning to his desk, grabbing a red pen, biting the cap before ripping it off and checking off the date with red pen, Febuary, 10th **** he spat the cap out of his mouth and said “Damn it, I have that stupid essay due on Friday. I should probably get to work on that soon…what teacher assigns an essay for the most busy week of the semester, maybe he didn’t get the memo of festival or recital.”
Loud footsteps approached the door and swung open, his mother yelled at him “Turn that shit down the Sun hasn’t even fully set yet.”
He turned around and groaning and whined “Mom you don’t get it! This is the second most important week of the school year!”
”Really? Well you can get started with getting your English grade up, if you get another low grade you’re going to end up failing English and that means no music class next year.”
He groaned “Fine, fine I’ll work on that. But please can I just practice a little more!”
”Fine. But finish up by the time your dad gets home, you know how he is when he finally comes home for the week, because if he can’t sleep than he’ll be after you the second you strum that guitar.”
”Okay, thanks.”
”Your welcome.” She closes the door slowly as she turns around.
Chuuya runs to his closet and drags his amp losing balance on his socks as he thugs on the heavy amplifier, he dragged slowly to the outlets on the wall leaving rub marks on the floor as he dragged the large metal across his wooden floor. He reached for the long cord tied at the end of the amp and slowly unraveled the long black cord, he plugged the cord into the grey wall. The amp let out a small sreech from the spark of electricity it intook when being plugged into the wall. Chuuya lifted himself from the floor and grabbed his guitar and grabbed his black instrument cable with red slug washi tape on the cord. He slung the guitar over his head slowly bringing amping the sound of the instrument, he fiddled with his music stand placing his sheets softly onto the thick metal.
He took a breath and mumbled, “One, Two and Three” he strumed the guitar, moving his finger down the neck of the guitar, as he struck the frets with pressure and persistence. The amp made the room shake and rumble with the inhanced waves of the guitar.
After hours of Chuuya’s ruckus he fell into his bed, looking to his phone while brushing his hair away from his face, the bright light assulted his eyes as he scrolled on his phone, his eyes followed the rapidly moving videos as he tried finding something to watch, his eyes flickered toward his window as the moon shined through. He sat his phone on his nightstand and rolled to his side, his hair bunching together as he settled his eyes and fell asleep with the soft moonlight hitting his face.
As the morning Sun rose, Chuuya’s door flung open his mother standing in the middle of the doorway, yelling angrily “Get up Chuuya! Your going to be late for school! Your train leaves in 15 minutes!” Chuuya twisted and sat up in his bed staring blankly at his mom as she stood in the doorway, his haftlid eyes looking to his bunched up clothes on the floor. His mother grumbled again “Do you hear me?! I said your going to be late!” She stormed into his room and swiftly grabbed his uniform from his chair, throwing his clothes straight at him “Now get ready or so help me if you miss that train I will take your guitar away for a week!” She stormed off closing the door with a BANG
He groaned rolling out of his bed as he cleared his throat replying to his mother “Alright, alright im going.” He pushed his clothes to the side changing into his white button up, black slacks and black tie. He leaned forward grabbing his bag and guitar case stumbling out of his door, running through the hall into the living room, yelling into the kitchen as he slipped his shoes on “Bye!”
”Bye! Don’t be late!”
”I know, geez!” He opened the door and walked out as he jumped onto his read bike, and rolled off into the street, he rode between trees and bushes dropping his bike in between two lonely trees as he ran for the train station he mumbled tiredly “I swear if that thing leaves-“
He fiddled around his pocket feeling knickknacks and random rappers he finds his metro card running into the station swiping his card at the entrance. Running into the station he stumbled into the train and sat down next to a young girl and boy around his age. He set down his guitar case and lolled his head back, looking at the trees out the window behind him. The train stalled and started running on the tracks swiftly, Chuuya slumg his bookbag off, unzipping it, pushing papers to the sides before, finally pulling his headphones from his bookbag. He grabbed his phone and activated his bluetooth, his headphones let out a BING and he started scrolling through his playlist picking a song by a foreign rock band.
