Iron Fist ran through the concrete jungle called New York, and the wind tore through his blonde hair. He was looking for someone he was looking for Spiderman, seeing as they both now have a common enemy named Octavius. He heard the sound of a 'thwip' and turned to the office building next to him, Spiderman swung into the open window. This was his chance he needed more information to bring Octavius to justice, and Spiderman was the key. Quietly he landed on the roof without a sound and made his way in through the vents. He dropped down in the hallway silently right next to the door where Spiderman had entered, Iron Fist had found him as he was fending off the guards. His back towards Iron Fist, this was his chance, he would simply deliver a punch to the back of the head, knocking him out. That didn't go as planned, as when he delivered his blow, Spiderman had crouched like he could sense his presence. Iron Fist unfortunately punched one of the guards in the face by accident. The guard went flying and Iron Fist had a look of shock and regret on his face.
Peter sounded amused and impressed when he spoke. "Nice one, that'll give him a shiner. Thanks Sugar, just gotta grab something." Spiderman flipped over Iron Fist to one of the computers.
Iron Fist looked completely dumbfounded, "What?" He was snapped out of it as rage flooded his chest. "No, I will not partake-"
But it was cut off by the guards charging him, this will surely be a long night. Iron Fist disarmed and fended off the guards as they came at him each of them dropping like flies. Spiderman was typing away at one of the computers, "Thanks again for that babe, I knew you liked me." Iron Fist's roundhouse kick lands perfectly on the guard's head, and he turns to Spiderman anger clearly on his face. "What is the meaning of this."
Spiderman nonchalantly holds up a drive, "just this." He stops for a moment. "Look out!" Spiderman throws his desk chair at a guard behind Iron Fist just before he strikes him.
Iron Fist could only respond with confusion, "Why are you here?"
Spiderman while remaining nonchalant said, "I just said why."
Annoyed, Iron Fist specified, "That doesn't answer my question. What is so important about the information you have gathered tonight?"
Spiderman stilled, he became tense as he spoke in a serious voice, it sounded odd to hear him being so serious. "Look I can't tell you, but it has something to do with Scorpio and his smuggling ring."
Iron Fist's eyes were blown wide with shock, Scorpio, was the leader of the Zodiac. "That is too risky for you, I need to take this to SHIELD."
Spiderman flipped over him again and crouched on the windowsill, without looking back at Iron Fist he calmly stated. "You want info, then meet me on the Beugals' roof." Spiderman jumped down and Iron Fist rushed over to look and see where he fled to. Only to find nothing, as if he had just vanished.
-
Spiderman watched as Iron Fist arrived on the roof. He waited for about ten minutes to make sure there were no SHIELD agents around. Hoping to impress Iron Fist he used his Spidey-cycle to drive over and slide to the other side of the roof. Iron Fist kept a stony expression, and Spiderman felt his smile falter as he let out a quip to save face. "You like the new ride?" Iron Fist remained quiet as Spiderman continued. "I did design it, y'know. It's ok, you can be impressed, I know you are.~"
Iron Fist sounded tired and a bit irritated, "Will you tell me about the smuggling ring?"
Spiderman sounded smug in his retort, "Package deal Sugar, you want the info, then hop on." Spiderman pointed behind him to the open seat.
Iron Fist narrowed his eyes as he stared down Spiderman. He tiredly responded, "Very well, I will go with you. However, you'll listen to me and follow me when danger strikes."
Spiderman let out a sigh, "Fine, I guess that's fair."
Iron Fist hopped on the back of the bike holding onto Spiderman's shoulders, Spiderman revved the engine and they were off. Iron Fist quickly moved his hands from his shoulders to his waist due to the sinking feeling of falling. Only to be caught by a tightrope of webbing. Iron Fist would never admit he was in fact impressed, if he did he would never hear the end of it. Spiderman asked amused, "Enjoying the view?"
Iron Fist's monotone voice cut straight to business, "What is going on with Scorpio, and why are you so invested?"
Spiderman was quiet for a moment, he finally spoke, his voice oddly monotone. "Scorpio and his lackeys are meeting a bunch of thugs and gangsters at the docs."
Iron Fist sounded weary when he asked, "For what purpose?"
"Guns." Spiderman gripped the handlebars tightly as he spoke. "Not regular guns, plasma guns." At Iron Fist's confused look, he elaborated. "Instead of bullets it shoots out lasers.
Iron Fist sounded shocked, "What would possess an individual to create a weapon of that nature?"
Peter looked mildly amused at his question. "Money, you're kinda cute when you're all riled up." Iron Fist shot Spiderman an irritating look.
Iron Fist sounded angry, "greed, I see." His voice turned cautious. "Why are you so passionate about this?" Spiderman was quiet once more. Then he spoke and it sent a chill down Iron Fist's spine, he sounded murderous.
"I have a score to settle."
Despite the goosebumps crawling over his skin Iron Fist was still firm when he said, "I cannot condone your vendetta. If your ambitions are going to hinder this mission then I will not allow you to put yourself in harm's way."
Spiderman felt a warm feeling in his chest at Iron Fist's words, he was worried about him. Spiderman bounced back with his usual bravado. However, he was still quiet when he spoke. "We're coming up on the meeting spot."
He parked his bike on the roof of an unused warehouse, activating a cloaking feature on the bike leaving it invisible. Iron Fist spoke, "We will need stealth for this mission to succeed." Iron Fist turned to him with an amused grin. "Let us see if you can keep up."

After leaping from rooftops and steel boxes, they made it. The two sat on top of a stack of shipping containers, gaining a high vantage point. Iron Fist keeps an eye out for Scorpio, to immediately notify Fury. He also kept an eye on Spiderman to make sure that he didn't pounce on anyone. Soon they saw him, Scorpio stepped off one of the boats as a few vans pulled up to the docks. Iron Fist notified Fury, and as men started pouring out of the vans Spiderman's fists clenched. While the weapons were loaded into the vehicles Iron Fist kept his hand on Spiderman's shoulder to stop any brash decision he thought he would take. When half of the vans were full SHIELD ambushed them.
Nova, leading the charge of field agents with Fury at his side. During the chaos of the battle Iron Fist had lost sight of Spiderman, he ran through the maze of steel, encountering three Zodiac guards. He used his momentum and propelled himself up and landed on the guard with the lion's head, delivering a roundhouse kick and a punch to the two with ram heads respectively knocking them unconscious. He heard shouting down the metallic hallway and ran he knew that voice it was Spiderman.
The shouting led him to the spider, he was holding a man up against the metal wall of one of the containers. The man had graying blond hair and was about the same height as Spiderman, yet he held him up like he weighed nothing. Iron Fist didn't hide the urgency in his voice. "Spiderman! Let him go!"
Spiderman didn't look at him, if he did it was hidden behind his mask. "Go away, Iron Fist! You don't know what he did!"
Iron Fist slowly approached Spiderman, cautiously he requested, "Then tell me what he did."
Spiderman was silent, when he did speak his voice was shaky. "He killed someone I knew... like he was nothing."
Iron Fist felt his heart bleed for Spiderman, he could almost feel tears of his own prick at his eyes. Blinking them away he made a promise to the spider. "I will ensure that he is brought to justice."
That seemed to make Spiderman furious, Iron Fist saw his aura twist into something murderous. "I already tried that, but he walked free. I tried it again and again, and he still got away. I saw this scumbag KILL HIM! I held him as he DIED! I WON'T LET HIM GET AWAY AGAIN!"
Spiderman lifted the thug higher as he screamed, a light, gentle, and warm bloom from Iron Fist's hand. Iron Fist's tone was soft, not commanding, he was pleading with him. "Spiderman I beg you make the right choice."
It took ten minutes, yet it still felt like hours, until Spiderman dropped the thug to the floor and webbed him to the wall. Iron Fist let out a breath of relief. "Thank you, spider."
Iron Fist personally brought the last thug to Fury along with any information he's gathered. After asking Fury for a request he turned to Nova. "Nova, I will need a 'lift.'"
-
Spiderman was just about to leave on his bike, when a smug voice called out from above him. "Hey Web-head, special delivery." He looked up to find Nova carrying Iron Fist holding him by his arm as he dangled and dropped down.
"Spiderman, wait I need to tell you something." Iron Fist had a panicked expression, that was new.
Spiderman looked at his hands, up in front to show he was technically unarmed. "You're not arresting me?" He asked confused.
Nova hovered a few feet away stretching or flexing? He answered, "Not today."
Iron Fist gave a soft smile, "Fury would like to make you an official informant of SHIELD, if you would be so inclined."
Spiderman was caught off guard staring in disbelief, he was in shock he almost didn't believe it because of how wonderful it sounded. Nova waved his hand in front of Spiderman's face. He couldn't hide the disbelief in his voice, "You're serious?"
Iron Fist still held that same soft smile, "Yes, do you accept?"
Spiderman smiled under his mask, "Sure, I guess you'll be seeing me around."
Iron Fist had an amused smirk on his face, ir was kinda hot. "Indeed I will."
Peter revved his bike once again but not before adding, "Well, I'll see you later, baby doll.~"
Spiderman drove away, Iron Fist and Nova sat there for a moment. That was until Nova started cackling, wishing he had gotten that on video. Iron Fist's faint blush turned to a deep Rouge within seconds.
