Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Working on a huge pizzeria in the shape of a tower was difficult, the whole spire was already built but the setting up was the hard part. The tower had five floors, not including the roof, and many rooms on each floor for dining. The boss of the whole deal was the man himself, Pizzahead, a stern and crazy guy but particularly interested in one employee he had hired. Bruno, an italian cook who had always wanted to help make pizza, a great chef too. Any type of pizza you ask him to make he could make it, nothing could stand in his way.

Pizzahead had taken quite the liking to Bruno for some strange reason, no one really knows why he liked the guy so much. It was just… creepy. Not to mention almost everyone knows how much of a mad scientist he is, during the creation of the tower he's made multiple experiments. One that he takes care of almost everyday, and another that he claims will be “his best invention and most powerful creature yet.” Many joked that Pizzahead was planning to use Bruno as a test subject and that being the reason he likes him so much, but Bruno thinks it's just the fact he works hard to please his boss…at least he hopes that’s the reason.

There were other workers there as well, Pizzabro, which was Pizzahead's brother. Granny, John. E. Cheese and many others that aren’t as important. The rest of the cast was mainly there to “protect” the tower, but to Bruno it seemed like they were there just to fill in space.

On the fourth floor, Bruno was busy working on the restaurant in his specialized room, each room had their own pizzeria with different types and Bruno's was no different. Nothing was too special about it, just a classic pizzeria interior with purple and white walls, checkered flooring and tables and booths scattered along the inside. Bruno remained focused on the task at hand, but over time Pizzahead had kept contacting him via phone call. He had started to get suspicious, why did he want to talk to him so much? And more importantly, what did he want from him?
