Chapter Text
The street is covered with debris and injured people as cars were flipped and scattered around the streets. A girl in purple school uniform was laying on the ground coughing bloods and injured badly as she struggled to stand up to look up to see a tall woman with a skin as black as obsidian and wearing a silver dress that shimmered in the light as her eyes were pure black like a void with no bottom.
"Give up now Magika purple! you have already lost this fight!" The woman voice boomed through the destroyed streets as the girl forced herself to stand up and stared at her.
"I will never give up... I will keep fighting... until my last breath!" The girl yelled angrily as her eyes started to glow bright purple and crackling with purple lightning before she summoned her staff.
"Hm... then you shall DIE!" the woman yelled before charging towards her with her eyes emitting black clouds of smoke and her hands crackling with black and white lightning.
The girl quickly charged toward the woman as well before dodging both of the woman punches before jumping high in the air and shooting her with a purple magical beam that knocked her away. The woman growled angrily before summoning several black and white lightning to struck the girl down as she quickly maneuver around the lightnings avoiding it as each lightning exploded once hitting the ground as the girl summoned a purple glyph that shoots out thousands of purple magic bullets which were all blocked by the woman who turned one of her hands into a black spiky tendrils to try and capture the girl as she smacked the tendrils away with her staff before slamming the staff to the ground to summon a massive and powerful purple lightning on the woman. The woman screamed in pain as she was struck by the powerful lighting as she continued getting electrocuted for several minutes before the girl pulled her staff out from the ground stopping the lightning as the woman was charred into nearly a dust. The girl was panting heavily before falling down to ground detransforming into her civilians clothes as her staff vanished into purple light. Mari lay there on the ground tired and weak as every breath she takes was painful and hard but she forced herself to look up at the charred woman while still panting.
"It's... over..." she said to herself while trying to get up before stopping when she heard the woman chuckled.
"Yes... it's finally over... for you~" the woman said as her body started healing and transforming back into its original form as she slowly walked towards mari and towered over her body with a grin on her face.
"You fought well Magika purple, but this end now!" The woman said before easily lifting mari up by the neck as mari struggled to breathe and struggle to break free.
"Now... just hand over your Magika tattoo and I'll let you go... don't make this harder for yourself now~" the woman said with a grin as she pulled Mari closer to her and waiting patiently for her to hand over the heart shaped purple tattoo on Mari cheek as Mari looked at her angrily before reaching for tattoo and gently pulling it off from her cheek before handing it over to her. The woman was about to take the tattoo off mari hand before she pressed it once with her thumbs as the tattoo started beeping and glowing purple as the woman looked at Mari confused as Mari just smirked weakly.
"I'll see you in hell... dark queen..." she said weakly as the tattoo suddenly exploded launched both of them away and destroying the whole streets and launching everything far away as mari landed hard on ground bleeding heavily as her tattoo reappeared on her cheek.
Mari weakly turned her head around to see the dark queen body engulfed in the flames before disappearing into a black portal as she just sighed before looking up to the night sky as she felt weaker by the moment.
Mari looked up at the stars and the moon with a small smile on her face as she remembering all of her memories and fun times especially remembering all of her fondest memories with sunny, kel, basil, Aubrey, and especially hero as Mari started to teared up before closing her eyes as she said quietly.
"Find... Aubrey..." Mari said weakly as her tattoo beeped again before vanishing from her cheek as Mari lay there alone with the only sound she could hear were the sound of the raging fire beside him and the sound of car alarms beeping as she just weakly smiled at the night sky.
"I'm sorry Aubrey... your on your own... now... sunny... everyone... please forgive me..." Mari said weakly before closing her eyes one last time before taking her last breath.
Meanwhile...
A girl in pink school uniform was tapping her feet on the ground impatiently while being surrounded with bodies of monster as she looked around the streets waiting for someone.
"Where is she?... she said she would be here by now..." the girl said to herself when she suddenly spotted a glowing purple orb appearing infront of her as she sighed before smiling slightly.
"You're finally back Mari, I was starting to get worried" Aubrey said while smiling as she expected mari to step out from the orb only for the orb to transform into a heart shaped purple tattoo as Aubrey quickly grabbed it and looked at it confused.
"What the hell?... isn't this?... oh no..." Aubrey said to herself as her face changed from confusion to realization as she quickly summoned her staff and ride it like a hoverboard as she rushed to mari location desperately hoping she was still alive.
Aubrey speed up through the night sky on her staff as she kept desperately hoping for Mari to still be alive only to reach her location and found Mari lifeless body on the ground in the pool of her own blood as Aubrey shakily gets off from her staff and shakily shook Mari body.
"M-mari... w-wake up... p-please..." she desperately shakes her body as her mind refused to accept the reality as she kept desperately shaking her body desperately trying to wake her up.
"MARI! PLEASE! WAKE UP! PLEASE! p-please... w-wake up... p-please..." Aubrey slowly stopped shaking her body as she started to realize the reality of the situation and began shaking and tearing up.
"no.. no... no no no NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOO!" Aubrey yelled loudly before detransforming out of her Magika pink form and started crying loudly drowning the sounds of sirens getting closer to her as she realizes that Mari is now dead.
