Chapter Text
Shrimpo kept turning the valve on the machine while banging his head against the glass. *I hate how long this takes, ugh,* he thought as he was tired of the floor already. He looked to the side at the Mona Dandy on the wall and scowled some, before hearing the ding of the machine and the sound of the elevator opening. He ran his way over there, but could see most other toons in the elevator already. He got inside and looked at the four other toons, Tisha, Flyte, Cocoa, and Toodles.
"Cocoa, wait up a second!" Flyte requested.
"Oh hi Flyte! What's up?" she replied.
"You're always so quick to help everyone. Maybe you should slow down a little," he suggested.
"I mean, I can try to slow down a little bit! Did something happen?" she checked.
I just...don't want you helping the wrong person y'know? It could be dangerous for you," he stated.
*He's referring to me, isn't he?* Shrimpo thought before tuning out the rest of the conversation until the door opened. He ran out and saw an air horn, picking it up instantly before he kept moving. As he moved around the floor, he could hear the footsteps of a certain twisted dog as he let out an annoyed sigh. *I hate this dog,* he thought as he found a machine and got to work. As he worked, he fiddled with the airhorn in his hands, excited to use it as eventually the machine finished as he went to find another. He ended up doing so in a corner and got to work on it. Eventually it went off and so did the elevator as he assumed the other toons saw him working and were already there by the time he finished. He ran over only to see twisted Pebble in the way. *Shit, this is going to be a bit difficult,* he thought, before taking out his air horn. He went to one side and sounded it out before quickly going around the other. The plan was working, until the dog noticed Shrimpo with the corner of his eye and started to run towards him. Just then he saw Flyte step out of the elevator and send a gust, which barley let him get in without getting bit.
"Are you okay?" Cocoa asked, getting ahead of anyone else, of they cared.
"I'M FINE!" he shouted back.
"I mean, who wouldn't be after that bold move," the butterfly commented to which immediately he turned and glared at him. He got up off the ground, and got a bit annoyed at a thought he had.
*Did I really just assume something was about me without having any idea if it was?*
