It was the start of college. Everyone was heading to their classes. It was my first day in the town of Black Hawk. I went to my class. The second I walked in, everyone was watching me. I only had eyes for the blue-eyed, auburn-haired, witchpire girl sitting in the 3rd row of seats. I headed over to the area where she was sitting. I was blocked.
"Hey there."
I looked at a guy betavamp with blue hair.
"There's a seat right here next to me."
"Sorry, you're barking up the wrong tree."
I kept walking and took a seat in the top row. That way, I could keep an eye on the prize.
~Sydney~
The guys and I arrived at the university at the same time. We talked a little. Then we went to our classes. JC and I have our first class together, then I have other lectures with Clover, an omega wolf, and Trent, a beta wolf, later in the day. The moment the class became quiet, I thought the teacher arrived in the room. I looked up and everyone, but her, disappeared. Suddenly, I heard JC.
"Here is a seat next to me."
I wanted to scream out.
"NO."
But then I couldn't help but smile to myself when I heard her.
"Sorry, you're barking up the wrong tree."
She walked past me and headed to the top row of seats. I looked her way, and she was staring right at me. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't look away either.
"Welcome all, let's get started."
I was startled and jumped. Everyone looked at me.
"Ms. Laurence, is everything okay?"
I looked at the professor.
"Yes, professor."
The instructor moved on to other things. I looked at JC, and he was laughing at me. I just rolled my eyes at him. I know one thing for sure. There is more to this new girl than meets the eye. I'm really looking forward to finding out what that is.

When the new girl entered the classroom, everyone disappeared. I want. I said to myself.
"Hey there. There's a seat right here next to me."
She looked at me.
"Sorry, you're barking up the wrong tree."
She walked away.
"I don't know so."

"Ms. Hill."
"Yes, Sir."
"We are sending you undercover to protect the royal heir to the Glinda fortune. Here is the case file. All the data and facts you need to know are in there."
"Yes, Sir."
