"Where is iiittt…"
Penny mutters to herself, looking through a box of vinyl discs that was in a abandoned music store, as she finishes looking through the last disks on the old box, she notices a small bright colored disc at the bottom of the box, her puppy ears perk up and she shoves her hand at the bottom of the box, grabbing the disc and making a dramatic pause, looking behind of her.
"Question… I think i found it!" She spoke, her nanite acid tail wagging in excitement, Question's side antennaes perked up, as a cat who's attention was caught, it stood up from the chair it was sitting on and walked towards P and the box.
"Are you prepared…?" Penny spoke, making suspense for the disc that she was about to pull, however… Q just tilts it's head as a curious cat, it's tail swaying to sides.
Penny quickly pulls the vinyl disc and makes a quick "Ta-daa!" sound, however instead of what she expected to be the DIRECTIONS album from kittydog, it's actually just another album about pop music, which was NOT what P was looking for.
Q holds back a snicker and points at the vinyl disc, noticing that Penny is still staring at it with a huge smile.
"That's… That's another pop music disc…" Q spoke, Penny looked up and noticed it was right, P quickly dropped it on the box and groaned loudly, she has been looking for this album in the whole store! Where the hell was it?!
"I looked everywhere! Is it really that extincted?" P spoke with frustration on her voice, starting to walk towards another box, squatting down and looking through another box, Question looked to the side, staring at one of the shelfs with VHS and more vinyl discs, but something that caught it's attention is a colorful vinyl disc, with a arrow peeking from below another vinyl disc.
Q tilted it's head, it's oval turquoise eyes in it's visor squinting, Q didn't had the best vision since it landed on Copper-9, it always struggled to see stuff clearly, however that didn't stop it from being very well at hunting… However, right now… That good vision would be so useful, since the disc it was staring at was very familiar to the description P gave of the DIRECTIONS vinyl disc.
Q's side antennaes went down in worry, should it say something? Should it tell P about it? It knew it was the right thing to do, but it went mute, it couldn't speak, Question hated when this happened but… It just couldn't, so it instead walked towards the purple Dissasembly Drone who was desperatedly looking through the boxes around her and touched her shoulder.
Penny quickly looked up and saw Question, wondering what it had to say.
"Yes, darling?" Penny spoke softly, giving a soft smile to Q, who's side antennaes sprung up and it's visor showed pixels of blushing, however it looked away and pointed at one of the vinyl discs that it caught it's attention, that being the colorful disc that had an arrow peeking out.
Penny quickly looked where Question was pointing at and squinted, but after a few seconds she quickly stood up and ran towards the shelf, taking the other vinyl disc that was on top of the one that caught her attention, and…
"QUESTION!!!" She yelled, Q jumped and it's antennaes perked up again, walking towards the shelf, did it do something wrong? Was it the wrong one? It couldn't tell as it's vision was only letting it focus on P, while the background was a little more blurred.
Question opened it's mouth to speak, to ask if it did something wrong, however… It is instead met with a warm hug from P, her tail wagging endlessly in excitement as she nuzzles Question's neck with affection.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH QUESTION! LOOK!" Penny spoke, pulling away from the hug and grabs the vinyl disc that was on the table next to them and displayed it in front of Q's face.
The vinyl disc had as display a cat-dog anthropomorphic hybrid with a collar that had the four main directions, west, east, north and south as the charm of the collar, it was indeed a very colorful display and it had many arrows pointing at many directions on top of the character, with text saying "DIRECTIONS" as the name of the album, with a smaller text below it saying the author/musician of the song, Kittydog.
Question's flustered face turns into a small surprised expression, it's side antennaes perking up in surprise, if she was this happy about this vinyl disc and it has a big text says "DIRECTIONS"…
It was right.
That was the disc.
Even if it doubted that it wasn't the disc…
Penny kept wagging her tail in a lot of excitement while displaying the vinyl disc to her partner, it was like seeing a smiling happy puppy… Question sighed in relief and gave a small soft smile towards P.
"IT IS THE DIRECTIONS ALBUM QUESTION! YOU DID IT!" Penny spoke in a loud voice, still wagging her tail as she hugs the album while squealing in joy, Q's expression softened into a warm smile, ironic because it's nanite acid is made out of cryogen and it makes it run a lot cooler.
Question's side antennaes went a little down, as it's visor displayed pixels of blush, it's tail swaying to the sides as it stares the euphoria in Penny as she keeps herself excited about the vinyl disc.
"IT'S BEEN LIKE… WHAT- 2 HOURS? Since i was looking for this album! And you found it! How i didn't look through the shelfs?" Penny spoke, her excitement and joy not calming down yet as she stops for a sudden second to look at Q, her gaze meeting its…
"Thanks Question, your vision may be bad but you still have a good gut feeling, y'know?" She spoke, giving a soft smile to Q, leaving the vinyl disc on a table and walking towards it, wrapping her arms around Question and giving it a warm hug while wrapping her tail around it's waist in affection.
"You're truthfully amazing…" P spoke softly, Question's pixel blush expanded a lot more through it's visor and it's tail hugging Penny back.
Q couldn't even resist and it starts purring, enjoying the hug coming from its lover, Penny however notices this and her tail starts wagging excitedly.
"You're purring, Question?" P asks with a hint of a playful tone on her voice, pulling away from the hug, Question's side antennaes and tail quickly sprang up and looked away, but it didn't stop purring, its purrs betraying its attitude.
P giggles and grabs the DIRECTIONS vinyl disc, quickly redirecting her attention towards Q, hinting with her head at the exit.
"Should we go and play this beauty at the cabin?" Penny spoke, Q gave a quick nod and it walked towards the exit, as both leave the music store and their wings reappear from their backs, Question being the first to flap its metal wings and fly up towards the sky, Penny quickly following it with the vinyl disc.
As Penny and Q fly through the dark sky of Copper-9, Penny can't help but talk about the album and some thoughts of her about each music's meaning, Question gladly listens to all of it in silence, appreciating the joy on P's face.
"I kind of like to think of I NEED THAT as a song not only for addictions but also for Just… Codependency on abusive relationships y'know? It might not be it but… Everyone has different takes right?" P spoke, rambling about one of the songs on the vinyl, Q stays mute but nods, watching endearingly P's joy and passion for meanings on her favorite musics.
She's so cute…
