Usagi is patient, very patient actually. He knows life is complicated and sharing parts of your personal life isn't easy. His friend, Chizu for example has had a rough life to put it simply. She shares all that she is comfortable with and no one faults her for it. So when Usagi befriends Leo, the turtle's refusal to share anything; it's nothing new to Usagi. Sure it's a little annoying to know nothing about someone you've been hanging out for months but Usagi isn't entitle to that. So on this day where they go out shopping for a personal New Years party for them, Leo seems to be willing to share. Something that Usagi is admitting is taking advantage of.
"So you met Fang in America?" Usagi spoke in surprise after Leo recounts how he met that champion. Usagi mindlessly swinging the bag their shopping bag for their New Years Party.
"Kinda," Leo answers, "I met him in America and we talk a bit here and there, continued to talk more when I officially signed up in Japan."
"And you were trying to be his friend…" Usagi tease him.
Leo groaned, "Leave me alone."
"I will not."
"Can't you spear my dignity just a little?"
"Hmm…Nope!"
"Your cruelty knows no end Conejito."
Usagi stuck his tongue out to the turtle. "Alright, alright, I will keep that in mind when I kick your butt in the arena next time." The turtle teases.
Usagi groans, "For being my friend you are way too eager to kick me in the face…"
"What? Your other friends don't?"
"Does getting punched on the shoulder count?"
"Depends, how hard do they hit?"
"Depends on their mood honestly…"
"I would count it, besides, I'd thought you'd like to get kick with your boots…" Leo beam, showing off Usagi's gift that he's currently regretting.
"Those are to wear!!! Not kick my ass!"
"Too late, it's mine now so I get to do with whatever I want with them…"
"You got to kick ass while dressing up nicely huh??? Was it Serpent? I bet it was him!" Usagi pivot the conversation. Both to tease Leo but also to learn more about him.
Leo laughs at Usagi, "Have you seen his style? It's awful, no he didn't inspire me on my style."
"It can't be Fang, he looks…That." Usagi stresses.
Leo cackles, "It wasn't Fang either."
"Well then who?" Usagi asks, maybe it was a champion that didn't try to kidnap them or kill them.
"Uh…" Leo now look uncomfortable, "He…wasn't a champion if that is what you are wondering."
"Oh…?" Usagi now is beyond curious. He normally doesn't pry into Leo's life but this time he can't help himself, "What was he to you then?"
Leo starts to rub the back of his neck, "He…" he took a long deep breath before continuing, "When I first started as a champion, something happen to me and he wanted to help me out. When he did help we kinda chatted and..."
As Leo recounts the whole ordeal, Usagi at the current moment is going through stages of emotions. First, he felt bad, he normally does whenever he thinks about Leo in the past. Second, starting to feel pity, that last for about 5 seconds as he the next feeling hit him.
"Did you go out with this guy?" Usagi spoke, sounding way more accusatory than he meant to.
Leo looks away, clearly embarrass, "We did go on some dates…"
"WHAT!?" Usagi shouts, unsure why he was upset about this.
Leo groans trying to hide in his jacket, "I know! I know!"
"You were dating someone!? Who!? This guy gave you your look!?" The baffle rabbit continues to ask.
Leo tries to bury himself in his hands but Usagi grabs them. Refusing to let Leo hid, "Tell me!! You have to tell me now!!!" Usagi demands
"Nope!!! No!!! I'm not telling you anything else!!!"
"You don't have a choice!! You can't just drop you had an ex than not tell me anything else!!!"
"How about we go back to focusing on our shopping!!" Leo tries to deflect.
"No, I need answers!!"
Leo tries to go hide but Usagi just simply didn't let him. The two boys were going back and forth until Leo finally relented. "Okay! Okay! Look! Look!! He was a controlling asshole!! There is nothing more to say!!"
"No! NOPE!!! No! There is so much to say Kappa!!" Insisting more harshly now. ‘Why do I want to know about this specifically?’ Usagi wonders to himself but decides to ignore that question for now.
"Let it go!!"
"I WILL NOT!!"
"UGH!!! WHY DO YOU CARE?!?!"
"You literally never tell me anything that's why!!! Seriously how serious were you two for you to be so defensive!?”
"Let's just drop it!!!"
"Oh my Titan!!! He was your boyfriend!"
"Ok he was not my boyfriend!! We—We just…"
"Oh my Titan you had a situationship with this guy?!?!!?"
"Who on earth told you what a situationship is?!"
"Kitsune, not the point."
"Of course it was her…"
"You've never met her!"
"I know enough about her thanks to you!!"
"We are getting off topic! I need to know more about this guy!!" Usagi persists. (But why?)
"Let it go Conejito!!" Leo tries to dismiss but this time sounding a lot harsher than he ever has with the rabbit. It almost starting to sound like a warning. Leo glaring at the rabbit but he just rolls his eyes at his wits end with this turtle. “I don’t even know why you are getting like this! It’s literally none of your business just drop it!!”
“No!” Usagi shouts stubbornly, for the first time not letting it go. “You never share anything with me! Shingetsu, I respect you! I really do but it gets so annoying to have to deal with this half ass thing! Titans Lee it’s just so—You can be so—!! I bite my tongue back a lot and just you owe me something! Just bone or—literally anything!”
Leo’s face fell from anger to something beyond sadness, heartbreak, and Usagi immediately regrets his own words. He never seen Leo freeze like nor did he ever look at Usagi like he just stab him. The young rabbit was certain Leo would’ve prefer that. Leo shifts uncomfortably, inching away from the rabbit.
Usagi panics, trying to reach for him, trying to make up for crossing that line. “Lee—Wait I’m sorry—“
“It’s fine. You’re right.” Leo spoke so flatly as he turns away, looking at their shopping bag, “We need some utensils. I’ll go get them.”
Without another word, Leo takes the bags and leaves the Yokai there feeling like the worst friend ever.

Leo didn’t understand why he is so upset with what Usagi said. He can’t blame him, if they switch spots, Leo too would be angry with Usagi. So why? Why did his words hurt him so much? He didn't blame Usagi, no not at all, everyone had their limits. Leo would know that better than anyone else…So what did Usagi do?? Maybe it’s something he said—
“You can’t expect me to keep helping if you don’t work with me, Kappa.”
“You are always being so difficult as usual are Kappa.”
“After everything I have done to help you!! That’s how you wanna act!? Kappa you really know how to push my buttons!!”
“Oh like your prefect…”
“You owe me something, actually you owe me everything! You know that damn well Leo.”
‘Oh…’ Those memories flood his mind so quickly. He needs to apologize to Usagi for walking out. Leo blinks his tears away, thinking about what he can tell Usagi or at least is willing to share. Usagi has such patience for Leo. It’s the least he can do. First things first, he needs to apologize for just walking out like that, he hopes Conejito isn’t falling apart.

Usagi is falling apart as he manages to fumble over his phone and call his friends as he panics. Titans what could he be thinking!? He’s never lost his cool like that before! He is pacing around the market, debating if he should chase after Leo or leave him be. “Hello?” Kitsune’s voice cut through the rabbit's rush thoughts.
“I messed up.” First thing that came out of Usagi’s mouth.
“Woah, ok slow down,” Kitsune tries to assure her friend. “What happened?”
“Ugh! I messed up badly!” Usagi paces.
“Usagi, breath,” This time it’s Chizu’s stern voice cutting. “Remember your training.”
Usagi stops and starts breathing, just like how Karasu-Tengu taught him. He doesn’t feel as panic, just more guilty. “I messed up things with Leo…” Usagi whispered this time.
“Can you tell us what happened?” Chizu asks, softer this time.
“Ugh! It was so stupid! I was trying to learn more about him, asking about his past, some friends. Then he mentions this…Guy and I figured something out and instead of dropping it, I got so personal with for no reason! Than he yelled at me for basically being nosy, which fair I was. So I snapped at him telling him that he owes me something. Titans seriously why did I say that!?”
“Ok, ok, that’s bad.” Kitsune spoke up and Usagi just groans. It’s awful to just demand that; especially after Leo just told him that his ex is a controlling person! What is wrong with him!?
“Relax, relax.” Chizu cuts in again, “No you aren’t a bad friend Usagi, you just…”
“You sound like a jealous boyfriend.” Kitsune adds as Chizu hesitates.
“Y-Yeah that…” Chizu agrees in the most defeating tone.
“He’s not my boyfriend.” Usagi corrects.
“We know but that doesn’t change you kinda acted like one.” Their little thief tease the samurai.
Usagi groans, “He just told me that this guy was controlling and treated him like shit and I did the same thing…”
“One time,” Chizu chimes in, “In the heat of the moment. I think you both were in shock and what you both should’ve done is walk away from each other so your feelings could cool down. You trust Leo right?”
“Of course!”
“Then trust he will understand how you feel and even come to the same understanding you are currently having.”
Usagi listens and agrees with them. He should’ve just walk away instead of getting so work up over it. “Why did you care so much? It does sound like you were jealous…”
“I really don’t know…” Usagi admits, the idea of Leo dating really shouldn’t have gotten to react like that. Usagi just wants to know more about this mysterious ex. What did Leo like about him? What did he look like? Does he have the same style as Leo? Does he still miss him? What did Leo even see in this guy to even consider wanting to be his boyfriend!?
So many questions but first things first, Usagi needs to apologize to Leo. He takes a long sigh as he straightens up, “I need to apologize to him.” Usagi says firmly.
“There he is!” Kitsune cheers.
“You got this Samurai…” Chizu cheers along.
Usagi couldn’t help himself as he grins to himself, “You know I was expecting Kitsune to just answer…So, you two spending lots of time together?” He teases.
“GO APOLOGIZE TO YOUR EMO BOYFRIEND!” Kitsune shouts through the phone before hanging up. The rabbit goes looking for the turtle, he isn’t around in any of their favorite shops. Usagi’s getting paranoid, thinking someone kidnap Leo (Again). He searches for the turtle while mentally scolding him. Leo gives Usagi a hard time for picking fights in the Nexus but Leo gets beaten up, kidnapped, and harassed whenever they leave the building.
Soon the young Yokai found the Kappa, coming out of a bakery while trying to shove something in the bag. Both of the teens spot each other and went over to the middle. Leo shifting awkwardly as Usagi felt his nerves take over. When they finally now face to face, standing for a good minute of silence.
“Hey-“
“Hi-“
“No wait, you should go first!”
“No no, it’s fine you should go first!”
They did this for another solid minute before they just stop. They just end up laughing at how ridiculous that all played out. “Do you wanna try this over again or…?” Leo offers.
Usagi snickers, “Yes I would like to start if that’s alright…”
Leo glances at Usagi then the bag, he does this for a minute before he reaches in the bag. Usagi can hear something heavy moving, “Y-Yea, I just want to get that ready.” Leo answers as he struggles with whatever he got, his full attention now on the bag.
Usagi grins, “Aw got me something sweet? I’m already sweet enough.” He teases.
Leo laughs as he finally gets it together, “Yes but I just wanted to—“ Leo cuts himself seeing someone from behind the rabbit, aiming something at him. Without warning Leo shoves Usagi to the side while being the one that gets shot.
“KAPPA!” Usagi shouts as Leo stumbles down. They weren’t bullets, Leo pulls them out and realizes something.
“We—We need to go…” Leo speaks up, “Now!”
“What’s going on—!?” Usagi assumes his sword as a big Yokai tries to strike him. Leo tries to help the tranquilizers that hit him are hitting him fast. The turtle falls to his knees as a long hare with brown and blackish fur approaches them. His ears are longer than Usagi but he lets them hang loose as he turns to the samurai.
“Kappa…I’m starting to think you might have a type.” He teases.
“R-Rai…?” Leo looks at the hare Yokai in surprise.
“This is him!?!” Usagi shouts incredulously.
The tall Yokai laughs at Usagi, the rabbit Yokai is wearing more simple, some even plain clothing. Sure it wasn’t fancy but it works for Usagi. This hare Yokai however is wearing a black suit with gold accessories, jewels, buttons, even the chains all look to be made of gold. The rabbit can stubbornly admit he sees where Leo got his inspiration. The hare walks over the turtle.
“Missed you too babe…” he greets warmly, if Usagi didn’t know any better he sounds like a concern partner.
“Rai…I told you I didn't want to see you again.” Leo warns the hare as he tries to push himself away from his ex. He ignores that and tries to reach for Leo. Whatever shock Usagi found himself in, he snaps out. Immediately tries to kick this bodyguard away from him. The bodyguard is skilled enough to keep him place, with others backing him up.
“Hands off!” Usagi shouts at him. The ex seem to finally looking at Usagi like he is something worth his time.
“You are?” He speaks in such a posh mocking tone!
“I’m Usagi! Usagi Yuichi, related to the greatest samurai of all time Usagi Miyamoto!” Usagi snarled at him.
He laughs, laughs at Usagi. “Your name literally means rabbit, rabbit. I am Raijin or as my darling over there likes to call me Rai.” Raijin introduces himself. “Now if you will excuse us, we will be leaving.”
Raijin dismiss the samurai going over to the turtle, who has been struggling to focus the whole time. His body fighting back to stay conscious as the hare knelt down to have turtle. The bodyguards trying to overwhelm Usagi as Raijin gently lifts Leo’s head towards him. Leo’s glare at him trying so hard to move away but his body is giving in to the drugs. As Leo went limp, Raijin caught him easily, turning to the rabbit in a mocking way. One of the bodyguards finally tackles Usagi as he tries to lunge at him.
“Thanks for entertaining him! I’ll take him from here.” With that same smile as he carries Leo.
“Let…! Him! Go!! You prick!” Usagi shouts through his struggle to free himself.
Raijin pauses before answering, “Nah, I think I’ll keep him. He really needs me after all, look at him. I mean what was he thinking? These boots are just awful on him.” Speaking with a very smug tone as he glares at the samurai; a guard opens a portal for him.
The rabbit finally kicks off the large yokai, crushing him. “No!” Usagi tries to cut that prick's arms off but he already went through the portal leaving the rabbit alone. Usagi stared at the empty space not even sure when the bodyguards left, they just did. Usagi felt nothing processing everything that just happen. Finally after standing for about 5 minutes he shouts one thing.
“Leo!”

Leo could finally feel his body again as he regains consciousness. He opens his eyes slowly as he tries to figure out where he is. Staring at the ceiling for a second he realizes where he is, immediately tries to leave but a mystical chain that is chaining him up to the bed. Leo panics, he knows where he is and doesn’t plan on staying.
“Aw, you haven’t changed one bit, have babe?” The familiar sweet voice spoke from behind him.
“Don’t call me that.” Leo scowls at him.
Raijin slowly walks over to the turtle, having such a graceful walk. Warm hands trace behind Leo’s back, he slaps his hand away from him. “Don’t ever touch me again. Especially there.” He warns him.
“Even after everything I did to fix that?” Raijin sounds hurt. Putting his hands o in his pockets as he watches the turtle closely.
“You just love throwing that back at me don’t you?”
“Not like you can forget considering everything.”
“Why am I here Raijin?! What could you possibly want from me!?” Leo demands.
“Isn’t it obvious?” Raijin gestures to his suit. Nothing new to Leo but he notices a ring.
“You can’t be serious…” Leo finally says.
“You did say you always wanted to be married.” Raijin reminds him.
“Not someone like you! Not after everything you put me through! I ended things remember that!?” Leo snaps at the hare.
“Look babe, you were in the heat of the moment and I gave you the space you clearly needed to get over your emotional state…But knowing how stubborn you are, I decided to take things into my own hands." Raijin dismisses.
"So your solution is to kidnap me?! Fact chances Raijin! I wasn't lying when I said I wanted nothing to do with you! I still want nothing to do with you!" The turtle argues.
"I know how you can get babe, you can be stubborn, I am trying to help you. I always do." Raijin use that tone, a sweet concerning tone. Making Leo feel doubtful of his own thoughts, well he use to but he sees through Raijin's tricks.
"You are such a liar…" Leo calls out.
Raijin stares at him annoy with him too, "Lee, you are running away from us. You are did that with your brothers and you are doing that with me now! With that friend of yours now!"
It starts to dawn on Leo, "Oh my god, you are jealous of him…"
"You are only using him to get back at me! I know you are!"
Leo laughs, laughs, at the hare, "I don't care about you! I haven't thought about you for months!!"
"Oh Leo stops hiding!! I saw how you acted when you 'called things off.' You literally were falling apart! Having a whole breakdown after you left! People telling me the whole state you were in, the drinking, remember?! Now you get with some rabbit to piss me off!" Raijin reminds Leo, taking a step closer and closer to Leo.
"That's all you do Lee." Raijin goes back to that sweet concern. "You ran away from your responsibilities back in New York, you ran away from your own brothers to come here, you fight to avoid your feelings. Even now, you are still avoiding your feelings because that was always the easier option for you. To run…When will you learn that there is only so much places for you to run?"
"Don't lecture me…" Leo mutters, he found himself pin to the wall.
"Is that why you like this rabbit so much? You like that he won't push you around? Is that why you got offended when he starts pushing you? You like having someone never question, how are you any better than me?"
"I—I'm not like you…"
"Are you sure? Last I checked, you called me controlling for not allowing you do certain stuff. Are you really any better for not allowing him to ask you anything."
"It's not like that…" Leo weakly defends but he didn't sound too convince with himself.
The hare sighs, almost sounding sorry for the turtle. With a swift notion, he locks a bracelet on the turtle's wrist. The turtle suddenly stands still as his eyes went blank. Raijin sighs as he looks at the bracelet. He felt bad having to control Leo like that but he needs to.
Leo is far too confuse and stubborn to finally make the right choices. Raijin will just have to help him out, like he always does. The bracelet won't last for long, only 24 hours, long enough to marry the turtle and finally to make things right. Raijin claps his hands and his maids come in with the dress in hand. He stares at it.
"Add some black on it, he'll be upset if he learns he only wore just white." Raijin advises.

"Damnit!" The rabbit curses as his Yoyo fails to track his friend again. After a good minute of freaking out, the samurai got to work right way. Only problem is his yoyo seems to be acting up now. Usagi pushes forward however, running through wherever woods he is in now! Not when Leo is stuck with some psycho!
It falls to the ground uselessly as Usagi scrambles to pick it up again. The yoyo can't sense Leo's energy anymore, that tracking method isn't working. Panicking now, he needs to find Leo and save him from his crazy ex. Pacing around in, titans know where, as he tries to get this stupid yoyo to do something for him.
"It will be whatever you want it to be. All you need to do is focus and your very soul must want it."
The echoing from his sensei's lesson. He glares at the yoyo for being so difficult with him now out of all times. The rabbit focuses, focus on Leo. Needing to hold him right now, wishing he would criticize on Usagi's shitty eyeliner work, his soft gaze whenever Usagi does something stupid like tripping over his own feet.
Usagi wants Leo…
He needs Leo…
Usagi visualize Leo's face, down to the smallest details. Tiny scars on his neck and face, his bright red stripes, the dark shade of blue of his eyes, and green hue that just seem to glow. The yoyo's patterns began to change, Usagi stares confuse as the patterns turn into arrows. It starts spinning before it stops, pointing a direction, it turn into a compass.
Usagi follows it with no further explanation. It never did that before but he can question that later. The arrow points Usagi in different directions as he follows. Stumbling, a lot, Usagi knew he can be a walking disaster or maybe he is just underestimating the amount of brunches in the woods. Usagi didn't stop, he just keeps following the arrow.
He only stops when he collapses to the ground. His legs are shaking now, he's breathless, his arms feel so heavy now. Wondering if he can just take a quick nap, he's been running for at least an hour now. Usagi is ready to pass out, looking up, the false night sky missing its moon. The rabbit stands up, not willing to let go of his moon.
His feet continues on as he staring at the compass, after more time passes the terrain changes. It became less messy, more steady, clean even. Less and less branches, meaning less tress, less cover. Usagi slows down as he starts to take in the whole surrounding, the grass look properly trim. The rabbit can see something right while hearing lots of muffle noise.
Usagi starts to slow down as he starts to sneak around, becoming harder as his cover became less and less. Soon finding a large luxurious mansion with a large lake, staff running around as they prepare for some kind of party. Usagi tries to figure out what kind of party this arrogant hare is throwing. He focus his yoyo as he listen to the staff, focusing his hearing.
Nothing but muffle up muttering before he could hear one thing clearly. "The wedding looks beautiful for how sort notice it all has been!"
"I know and the groom looks so handsome in the dress!"
"Our lord knows how to dress his love very well!"
"WHAT?!" Usagi shouts to himself. Reminding himself that one, he is alone and two, he needs to stay hidden to save Leo. However that doesn't change the current boiling rage inside of Usagi right now. How dare this rude entitle rich boy just assume Leo would ever want to marry him?! He's gonna kick him!
Usagi growls to himself as he focus his yoyo. Hoping it can somehow turn into a map or anything to help save Leo. Sadly for the rabbit it remains a compass, Usagi needs a plan. A real besides 'Save Leo' (Not really a plan more of a goal but whatever), the young samurai searches around the area. Catering is still going in, perfect.

Raijin prepares as he goes to check on his lovely groom. He will risk the bad luck for once in his life, he is nothing but lucky after all. He found his groom, dress in a simple white dress. Not a big dramatic wedding dress, no that isn't Leo style at all, not with his big events. Something simple but different, a white simple wedding dress that had a high-low skirt, a black corset, with flower embroidery stockings, and jewels to fit with them.
A black choker with big gems on it, stylus gloves, and Raijin let Leo keep the boots. He hates to admit, even that rabbit has some good taste but he didn't need to know that. Leo looks beautiful as he expects, he takes the turtle's hand. The hand with the bracelet on it, it doesn't control Leo's mind, no that's a bit beneath him. The bracelet simply turns off most of the turtle's pretty brain, literally tell him what to do and he will do it.
Raijin doesn't want that, no, not with this turtle. He likes the witty banter he has with this turtle, his shining brain, and even his stunning beauty. Raijin will simply marry Leo, which makes it easier for him to buy his contract (Leo keeps stubbornly refusing). Then Leo will be his and can finally properly fix him.
"Sadly I won't get to hear your witty thoughts for a bit," Raijin mourns as he pulls Leo closer to him. Finally being able to gently tracing over his back, he takes his time tracing over it. He traces over it at least three times, Leo never like it whenever Raijin tries to admire his work. He always thought the reaction is a bit much but he tries to respect it. This time, he gets to, he wants since Leo won't even remember it.
He smiles proud of his work that has help Leo so much, "Soon I all upgrade that for you and I can go back to fixing you."
Raijin promises, he gently put the veil Leo on the back of his mask. He left letting the staff finish touching up his groom. He needs to finish some final touches while keeping an eye on certain person. Searching for a specific rabbit…

'WHO NEEDS ALL THIS SPACE?!?!' Usagi thought bitterly as he navigates around the mansion. It's so obnoxious just like the hare that owns it. Usagi follows the staff while keeping an eye on his yoyo. Luckily for him, all the catering staff is going the same direction the compass is pointing at. Following quietly, he listens closely for Leo's name or maybe that stupid hare.
Just as soon as he thought it would be easy, the arrow starts to point in a different direction. He fakes tripping over, as he guess, the staff pays no attention to him. He needs to thank Chizu for teaching him how to sneak into places. Most of the staff is too focus on not upsetting this stupid hare, paying no mind to him, he sneaks off the minute he is alone.
He goes to higher position, second floor, hiding behind pillars. He sees Raijin standing at the head of the altar waiting for the ceremony to begin. Usagi watches, this feels too easy, thinking for a minute an idea comes to him and decides to gamble with it. He focuses his Yoyo and it flies out of his hand.
The ceremony look to be starting, with the music starts to play. Usagi looks around and sees Leo, in a wedding dress with a veil and flowers. This rabbit is going to strangle that hare watching Leo walk down the aisle. Usagi searches for something, the pillars had beautiful ribbon decorations, he quietly works with the music being his cover.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gather here today for the marriage between this hare and this turtle. If anyone wishes to object speak now or forever hold your peace." The priest spoke.
"I do!" Usagi shouts from the second floor, using the ribbons to lasso himself down.
"Rabbit!" Raijin greets, "I've been expecting you!"
"Give him back you creep!" Usagi shouts charging at the entitle rich boy.
He pretends to think about before snapping his fingers "No, I don't think I will…"
Usagi jumps back this time expecting the bodyguards. The staff runs away seeing that Usagi is wielding his sword out. Raijin watches as Usagi uses some of the ribbon he cut off to tangle the guards up.
"I'm impress rabbit, you actually can learn," Raijin notes aloud.
"Save your patronizing comments!" Usagi cuts the comments down. Usagi notice Leo just standing there blankly wondering what this yokai did to him!? It enrage him.
He laughs seeing the guards numbers slowly dwindling down. Walking over towards the fighting samurai, with an amusing smile. "I'll admit you actually surprise me, you found me sooner than I expected."
"Oh my Titans do you even hear how you sound like right now!?" Usagi complains. Charging at the hare, much to Usagi's frustration, the damn hare can dodge which probably means he can fight. As currently he keeps dodging all of his attacks, Usagi kept making sure Leo is still standing in the same spot. Worry that Raijin might use Leo against the rabbit.
"Why are you doing all of this? You really don't know Leo at all." Raijin questions innocently.
"I know him well enough!"
"Do you? Which state is he from? Tell me about his name. Tell me about what keeps him up at night. Tell me why he left his home to begin with…"
Usagi flatters for a minute, Raijin takes the chance to kick him hard in the stomach. A similar move he's seen from Leo many times. Causing the rabbit to lose balance, "Look I get it, he's fun, he's very interesting. Like a mystery box with puzzles you just want to crack open. I get it but you need let go this notion he will be honest with you."
"What makes you think you can speak on his behalf!?" Usagi demands but Raijin punches him. Knocking him to the ground and his swords out as he drags the rabbit away.
"Because I know him. I know whenever Leo sees his favorite comic he can't help but widen his eyes and smile brightly at it, like a little kid. I know whenever he is upset he will shut himself off he will hold himself to comfort himself. I know the exact face he makes whenever he misses home. I know him better than you ever can, he clearly doesn't trust you since he still hasn't told you anything. What? It's been months now and you don't even know his full name. So why bother to fight for a friend you don't actually know?"
Raijin challenges, with each statement, he kept punching once in a while but seem to prefer kicking Usagi more in the chest. Dragging him to a corner, even went back to pick up his sword. Usagi laughs, Raijin has pretty weak punches, probably where he prefers kicking but that isn't what is making him laugh.
"What? Nothing to say? Laughing because you know it's over or out of embarrassment for yourself?"
"Nah…" Usagi leans on the wall, "You are right, I don't know him nearly as well as you do and I can't, nor will I make Leo tell me anything about him but there is just one little thing I know for sure that you seem to be in denial about…"
"Really? What's that?" Raijin smugly asks.
Usagi grins as he looks at the hare pointing his own sword at him. "Leo actually wants to be around me unlike you...He seems to always want to run from you."
That finally hit his nerve, as anger appears on his face so fast after the comment. "You absolute pathetic common farm boy. You have one chance to take that comment back rabbit."
"Nah," Usagi chuckles, "Maybe if you didn't control Leo right now, he'd agree with me."
Raijin raises the samurai's sword ready to strike him but before he could, something held him back. He looks back baffle as he sees what is holding him. "Is that a…Yoyo!?" Raijin asks incredulously.
"A magic Yoyo you prick! To his lake!" Usagi orders, he steals his sword back, and the Yoyo drag the hare to the lake. Raijin cries dies out as Usagi rushes over to Leo.
"Shingetsu! Hey! Hey! Are you okay!? How do I help!?" He asks the turtle, hoping he would tell him. Sadly the turtle just remains standing there with the same blank look. Usagi shakes him a little to see if that would help, it didn't.
Debating on if slapping him would work but Usagi really didn't want to do that. He looks for something out of place, clueless on how to help Leo. As if on cue his Yoyo came back, it wraps itself around Leo's bracelet then it snaps. The bracelet fell so did Leo as he gasp like he just woke up.
"Leo! You're back!" Usagi catches him, Leo gasping for air for a sold minute.
"Usagi!? Wh—What is going on…?" Leo questions as he takes in his surrounding than taking in what he is wearing, "I am wearing white!?! Raijin! Imma kick his ass!!"
Usagi laughs seeing Leo's reaction when he came back. "Too late he is in his own lake!"
"Did you drown him!?!?" Leo asks at Usagi's words.
The rabbit starts to realize how his words sound like and corrects himself, "No! No! I just used my Yoyo to send him to the lake! I'm sure he is fine…" (Secretly hoping he wasn't but Leo doesn't need to know...)
Leo just blinks, Usagi turns hearing more people coming. "We need to go!" Usagi picks up Leo, all bridal style, and starts running out with his Yoyo guiding them out. Leo just holds onto Usagi, too daze to really question what the hell is going on.

Running out of the mansion and managing to get back to the city rather quickly (Thank you adrenaline). Both boys now on top of a building stopping as the yoyo just disappears. Good excuse to take a break, Usagi panting all smugly as he looks at the turtle. "I knew I could outsmart him! Come out with barely a scratch!!" (Well maybe a broken rib or two but Usagi doesn't feel that yet)
"You outsmarted Raijin…?" Leo asks a bit of a surprise. Raijin isn't an easy person to fool, well in Leo's experience at least.
"Yup! I figure the guy likes to talk so I let him talk while thinking he manage to overpower me. Didn't even notice my yoyo circling around him from above." Usagi explains proudly.
Leo laughs, amaze honestly, "You used his arrogance against him…"
"Well it really wasn't that hard. He made it easy for me."
Leo smiles as he examines Usagi's face, soon cupping his face. The cool fingers running through the soft fur. "Are you sure you are okay?"
"I'm fine, really. Nothing can break this samurai." Usagi assures (The bruise chest and the most definitely damage rib will disagree with him later but that’s for later Usagi to deal with.)
Leo softly chuckled as he teasing taps on the rabbits chin. "Good."
Both boys stood in silence before they both broke it at the same time. "I'm sorry for—"
They pause before they both laugh. "You can't apologize! I was going to!" Leo complains.
"Well you don't need to! I should be the one apologizing for what I said to you. After what I said! You really don't owe me anything…" Usagi told Leo honestly.
"Well I shouldn't have reacted that way, I am sorry for being cold. I know you've been so understanding but you were getting to your limit. I mean we've been friends for months, starting a new year together, one person can only handle being in the dark for so long…It can be so frustrating and it might seem like I don't value I do, but I let my fears guide me through our friendship, I am sorry for letting mt fears affect our friendship."
"You really don't need to, I promise I understand. I still shouldn't have said what I said, I am not owed anything from you. Yes I was frustrated with the lack of communication I need to communicate that. I shouldn't have taken that out on you, it was wrong of me. There are better ways to handle that and I handle it the worse way possible and it hurt you. I'd never want to hurt Leo, you mean so much to me, Shingetsu. I am so sorry I said those things…"
"I forgive you…I'm sorry for stonewalling for so long."
"You were already forgiven Kappa…"
"It still needs to be said."
"Can…Can we agree we handle that poorly and maybe a little bit stupid on our ends?"
"I think I can get behind that…"
The teens laugh, Usagi shifts his hold on Leo before asking hesitantly, "Think you can walk?"
"Sadly no…" Leo admits, almost looking embarrass, "That bracelet basically puts your concussions to sleep but your body is still awake to put it simple. You are kinda disconnected the whole time, so when you reconnect it takes a minute or hours…"
Usagi frowns, not happy to see that Leo is able to give a very detail experience on this. Leo notices as he sighs, pulling himself closer to Usagi. Taking in his warmth, the rabbit said nothing, just holding his Moon close to him. The exhaustion clearly starting to hit Leo, but he began to speak suddenly.
"When I first came here, my first big battle I got hurt, very badly. The surgery I had to take but couldn't afford, Raijin offer to cover it if he could try something new. I was desperate and agreed, after the surgery he just treated me so sweet and kind, it seem like he care about me beyond the surgery. Making me feel so seen and heard in ways I hadn't for a really long time...It kinda won me over and that's why I started seeing him."
Usagi listens a bit surprise to hear Leo share this. First he worry that Leo only did this out of guilt but glance him for a moment he knew Leo wants to share with him. Comfortably resting his head near Usagi's neck, oddly he didn't find that uncomfortable. It dawns on Usagi he never seen Leo so relax before.
"He is the reason why I didn't go out, I use to only go out for money and him…When I called things off, I didn't see the point anymore."
"But you went out when I asked you to…"
"I did…"
"Why?"
"I guess I had a better reason to go out for once. I just hope I keep having a better reason."
Usagi beams, he felt proud for Leo and even honor that Leo trusts him this much even from the beginning. "Thank you for telling me…"
Leo smiles shyly before he shrugs, "You can put me down if your arms are tired, since your magic yoyo is MIA."
Usagi stood proud as he held Leo even closer, holding him so protectively, "NOPE! I am tougher than I look Shingetsu!"
Leo laughs as the yoyo returns, Usagi carefully held his hand open as he felt something drop in his hand, then it disappears again. "Oh your necklace with that weird pendant!"
The turtle pauses before checking his neck, freaking out for a moment, then looking at the rabbits hand. He relaxes seeing that his friend did have it, "Good, I would hate for Raijin to have that…"
"What is it?" Usagi asks, understanding this necklace isn't just a necklace.
"I think I will keep that as a surprise…" Leo teases.
"After everything I went through today…"
"Too bad Conejito… "
Suddenly fireworks went off, they turn to see what is going on. Usagi's yoyo finally returns, now suspiciously cover in soot. Usagi frowns, this yoyo is suppose to bge link to him so why is it acting so weirdly today? Maybe he will call his sensei and ask about why his yoyo acting like this.
"So is it me or is your yoyo acting strange?" Leo asks curiously.
"I have no idea and I really try not to question it too much." Usagi grumbles.
"Damn I am upset I lost the cake I bought you…" Leo mourns sadly.
"Your apology cake?" Usagi playfully asks.
"Yes! My apology cake!" Leo groans annoy with him.
Usagi snickers, "I have it, happy to info you most of it fine. Slightly smudge icing but it's good over all."
"Where is it now…?"
"I manage to get my friends to pick up as I went looking for you. The baker you bought it from was nice enough to hold it as I left. So our party isn't ruined thanks yours truly." Usagi brags, Leo leans back, smiling playfully.
"Saved you once again Shingetsu." Usagi happily tells the turtle, feeling warm in the face now. It's only dawning on him now how close they actually are.
"My hero…" Leo plays along, before leaning back on the rabbit, onto his warm embrace. Usagi holds him dearly. He starts follows his yoyo, to finally bring Leo back to the Nexus. Where he is safe in his arms, and they can enjoy their party…
'I'll ask him to have a party with me on Valentines…' Usagi thinks to himself, fireworks going off in the distant. 'I want him to keep having a better time…'
The sky having its moon back, having the sun help it shine back.
