Chapter Text
Sunghoon was looking at the woman in front of him with a really intense gaze. Like she was some lost animal in the jungle and he was a lion, ready to devour her. She was looking at him back, sustaining the stare. Her body was moving at the beat of the song. Sunghoon was singing. To her. Only to her. At least it seemed that way. He was hitting those notes, a grin all over his face, his hips doing sinful movements, his arms bare against the wind, in poses only allowed to weightlifters without looking ridiculous. The woman bit her lower lip, breathing heavy, looking coyly. It didn’t matter that they were at a wedding. And that she was actually the bride, wearing that hideous puffy white dress. Sunghoon was making it happen. And since the lady in question was getting married on that occasion, she did the only thing she could: grabbed her new husband, whispered in his ear (“let’s get out of here, now”), and left the dance floor, not before winking at Sunghoon, who grinned at her and winked back.
He did it. It worked every time.
He knew he was doing it right when the bride left in the middle of the party. It didn’t matter that the woman was “tying the knot”. And that Sunghoon was gay. When he was doing “his thing”, he seemed like he could do it with anyone, how many times you wanted, anyway you liked it. And he knew that. He was all lust.
He turned to look at Jake, who was playing the bass next to him, and just shook his head in disbelief. Every damn time.

Starting a “wedding band” was not something Sunghoon planned. Like ever. But one day, he and his friends got together, just for fun, to play at Yeonjun and Soobin’s wedding. And it was quite fun. Sunghoon would be the lead singer (“not because of his voice, but because of his talented hips”, Yeonjun pointed out to everybody else, making them laugh. But, to be honest, he was a great singer), Jake, his best friend since forever, would play bass, Jay would be responsible for the guitar and Ni-ki would be their official drummer.
‘Criminal Love’ was the corniest name they could choose for their band, so of course, they went with that. They played at their friends’ reception, and everybody was happy about that. Yeonjun was so satisfied that he actually recommended the ‘band’ to another event. So Jay proposed to do this for real. Sunghoon said yes immediately. Because weddings equal single guys. Lots of them. Usually, after they performed, Sunghoon would go to the bar to get something to drink. And he waited. After the bride was gone, he usually started targeting his next “victim”, charming whatever man stood out to him. So he waited for the guy to approach him, like it always happened. Jake didn’t get how that was possible. But it worked.
And after a few minutes, Sunghoon would leave the party with someone by his side. Always someone different. (Leaving his band mates with all the work of setting their things away after the gig was over.)
He did that almost every weekend for the past two years. And oh, he loved it. He had a vast repertoire of... stories by now. Did he have to get out some guy’s apartment through the window once? Yes. Did he have sex inside a wedding minivan? Yes. In the shower, in the car, in an open garden? Do you really have to ask? At a barn once too. Did he sleep with two different men on the same night? Once, and he keeps saying it wasn’t his fault, since he left the bedroom to look for ice and came back to the wrong room, oh well. He remembered that laughing every time…
You see, Sunghoon was a sexual person. Not just sensual. Sexual. He can charm anyone he wants (that’s what he likes to believe anyway), and he puts his talents to good use every chance he gets. He likes to arouse people. Make them... horny. And thirsty. And fill their minds with dirty thoughts.
Naughty ones.
And he was talented at that. And that’s the reason why he was such a good asset to the band. He would charm the brides, and they would get the gig almost every time. It was a dirty move, if you think about it, but again, Park Sunghoon was all in for dirty.
