Chapter Text
Hermione and Lavender found a reason to join together for the good of a friend. Now admittedly, Hermione had to be convinced, because she has not heard of such an asinine plot to make amends for the years of poor treatment Luna Lovegood received. She agreed in the end for the sole reason that she still feels a little bit guilty for the way she treated her. She also agreed because she was completely outnumbered. When girls from all four houses gang up on you, you either listen to their plans or you cast one powerfully strong protego.
She and Lavender looked around their common room, trying to decide who they would have to rope into this thing.
“Harry.” Lavender shrugs, “That’s a given. They’re friends, it makes sense.”
“Yes, that’s true.” She taps her chin, “Dean?”
“Neville?”
By now the Gryffindor boys are looking decidedly uncomfortable. They don’t know why they’re being judged, but they know they are being judged.
“What about us?” Ron points at him and Seamus.
“Yeah, what’s wrong with us?” Seamus crosses his arms.
Hermione and Lavender start giggling.
Hermione is giggling with Lavender. That can’t be good. Harry pulls Dean and Neville with him towards their dorms. They’re going slow, trying not to grab their attention, because whatever this is, they want no part of it.
