Chapter Text
Magic has always been difficult to comprehend; people often don’t consider it real. But there’s always been a side to it that is unexplainable, or at least it was until now. Because I will tell you the story of how magic came to be unknown.
It was long ago, the year was 1320, and the world was different. It was called “Setsuna”
It was divided into four main territories: the human kingdoms, the elf territories, the mutant island, and the forbidden lands, but only three known species. The mutants are semi-humans that share 20% to 80% of their bodies with animals; humans are mankind with an unexplainable thirst for war; and elves are magical creatures that live in harmony between their kind.
The forbidden lands were considered unapproachable because no one who had ever gone inside ever came out, so no kind of animal or species was ever identified.
Long before there had been a war between the three species, humans, mutants, and elves lived in harmony. A war was then started by the humans to control all the land, which ended with a bloodbath, and the three territories were divided. After this, the three species grew rivalries between them, so every time a human saw an elf, they wanted to kill it for so-called “justice” for the lives that were taken in battle. While the elves and mutants don’t like each other, they become allies against the human kingdoms. But all mainly focused on Thaloria, the main human kingdom. Where King Kureger, the person who started the war, ruled all the human kingdoms.
Krueger was a foul person; he found pleasure in killing the other species, convinces humans where the superior race.
Most mutants learnt to be afraid or just ignore the humans, while some of the elves still wanted revenge, and others just wanted peace. But the ones who wanted war were forbidden to ever hurt any other species unless they hunted them. This rule was set by the elf’s ruler, Anai Kayata. Unlike Kureger, she was kind and wanted peace for all the species, to forget the war.
They lived in what can be considered peace, but humans cut themselves off from the rest of the world as it advanced, staying behind in the old fashioned ways.
