Fuma is known for his lies; huge impossible ridiculous lies, and small insignificant ones, all falling from his lips as easily as breathing.
Except now he's standing in front of Yudai -- the one person who knows him better than anyone else in the world does -- and he's faced with answering the only question he never wanted to admit. But he can't bring himself to lie. Not this time, not to this person.
Yudai repeats himself, gently, slowly, but insistent, almost like he understands that he's stolen the breath from Fuma's lungs with his words. "Do you like me?"
