Chapter Text
Texas observed the view, carefully. The air breathed against her left side, so she turned.
CASEOH'S SUPERMARKET
She blinked a bit, "This wasn't renamed to Goober's Grocery?" Texas sighed, she didn't care because she needs food. The atmosphere was crisp, there was some experimental music playing at the register. Someone was dozing off on the job! The door shut & it kinda farted.
"Huh- oh, w-what's up?" Tim turned his phone off & stretched a bit into a cleaner stance with the awful posture of his.
Texas noticed the door then focused on Tim again, "That wasn't me-"
"I know, the door does that sometimes." He chuckled, "Blame it on the Fat C." Wait, "I-" Tim looked around a bit, "...It's like he never left."
He? Does he mean-
"CaseOh?" Texas blurted.
Tim looked back at her, "How'd you know?"
"I knew him, a little bit- well, he was involved in something."
"Perhaps at the waterpark?"
Tex looked back at him, "How do you know?"
"...& maybe related to Dakota?" He followed.
The customer smiled for a sec, "She's.. my older sister."
They were silent- still for like a sec y'know, but Tim responds, "I kind of also work for Goob Lagoon but not officially- I'm a part of the fanclub for the legal team- uhm- ye- I'm sorry about your-"
"It's fine-"
"I didn't mean to just assum-"
"I work for the uhm I'm in the fanclub too, actually! & Also, it's in the name of the place, CaseOh's Supermarket."
Tim tilted his head, "They didn't change it to Goobers' Grocery?"
Some random goober interrupts & starts dropping his groceries on the belt. "My wife wants to go swimming today, argh that's awful!" Tim starts scanning items & comments, "What's wrong with swimming, Hap-"
Texas remembered why she walked in, then went to collect her groceries.
