Hello guys, this is my first attempt at writing a Fanfic. English isn't my first language and I'm not using any software for helping me write. If you have any suggestions in order to improve my writing, I would really appreciate it. Enjoy!
Chapter 1
The sun hasn't been up yet but it was already a busy day at the HYBE building. staff members running about with their tasks, managers' on their phones every other minute, and high ranking officials you don't normally see are now standing around the company premises. It didn't go unnoticed by the five ILLIT members who were gathered at the practice room earlier than usual due to an important announcement. The girls were warming up for their dance practice when their stage director walked in and stood in front of them. She looks at each of the girls, feeling a bit uneasy as to what she's about to tell them.
Stage Director: "Girls, listen up. There has been some BIG changes with the plans for your comeback. Hold your thoughts for a moment and listen carefully."
The ILLIT girls looked at each other wondering what it could be but before they could question why, three people entered from the door of the practice room. As if time stood still, the girls were shocked to see the three newcomers. Standing in front of them are the three remaining members of Newjeans. Hanni, Haerin and Hyein. The stage director continues.
"As you all know, our parent company and subsidiaries have finally settled all dispute and are in the process of recovering from all the negative publicity from last year. This year marks the new beginning. We need to show the people that here at HYBE, we are all united in order to regain the trust of our fans and investors. So starting today, Newjeans will join you on a special collaboration."
After the stage director's announcement, she ushered the Newjeans girls in front. Once they were in front of the ILLIT members, they introduce themselves reluctantly.
Newjeans: Um... 2.. 3! Hello! We are Newjeans!
The three girls greeted and bowed in unison.
A minute of heavy silence went by before a reaction came from one of the ILLIT girls.
Yunah: You have got to be joking. Right?
