Must have Been a Holy Light

Summary:

There I saw you standing
Must have been a holy light
'Cause I can't see and I can't feel
But the color in your eyes
She couldn't remember, she felt empty, sailing without a course

She was trapped, in a body too small and weak for all her power, in a town that was unknown even she spent all her life there, at least that was she thought.

OR: both Sea Fairy Cookie and Moonlight Cookie had their memories erased and cursed to be separated and to forget each other.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Sea Fairy have spent sailing more time than she could even remember, she had lost completely the feeling of the days, the years pass by, the eternity of the ocean was something very dear to her, something as familiar as breathing.

Nowadays, that feeling had turn into something tiring, she felt tired, more than all her life. That familiarity was unwanted for her, the void in her chest had risen lately, every day that passed that feeling increased.

She had dedicated herself, without much strength, to search the thing that could end with that void feeling. Though she felt it closer, that solution was near. A few years ago, she had started singing to the moon during a lonely night in her ship without a crew. Now that one time event had turn into an habit, every time that she was in the deck being bathed by the moonlight she felt a little less alone in her long forgotten labor of being the guardian of the sea.

During a night more silent than usual, during her habitual moon gazing, she felt an unusual sadness fill her heart. It was almost unbearable, she didn't know what was happening, she couldn't take her eyes away from the moon, she raised her hand to the night sky. She wanted to stroke the moon, like she had wanted to do many many years ago.

Wait.

She had wanted to do that?

Yes, she wanted.

But...

Why she couldn't remember that until now?

And...

Since when that was one of her greatest wishes?

Something that she didn't know that her heart was yearning.

All the events that happened that night weren't seen by anyone else, except for a young man that was fishing not far beyond the shore. It was the first time that Sorbet Shark had seen a ship so close to the shore, the ship was far away where he was fishing, suddenly the temperature dropped, and the sea started to shake, the tide began to rise with a strength worthy of a storm.

Sorbet Shark watch how under the ship a tower of water begun to rise, it was gigantic. The thing that probably was the most amazing was a tiny figure that glow even brighter than the full moon, that figure was on top of the main mast it looked liked it was trying to touch the moon, but the higher that raised something began to happen. The top of the tower began to froze, and froze even faster by every second that passed, until all the tower was just ice.

After the tower froze the sea came back to being quiet, Sorbet Shark decided that it was time to head back to the shore, he was full of curiosity to go check that ship and try to find out what just happened, but he had promised to Peppermint that he will bring him fresh fish for sale in the town market.

Sorbet Shark gave one last look at the ice tower, and he wondered if that ship was the one from the ancient legend of the guardian of the sea.
