That Perfect Girl (A group project this time)

Summary:

Because Bloomie is such an introvert, Circle decides to take her clubbing to socialize. She gets a new friend, but Bloomie's feelings for that "friend" are anything but platonic…

Notes:

Alright, this is sorta like a revival thing (I think). This first chapter is the same, but I wrote the second one. Then Witchy would write the third (maybe, idk they haven't responded to me yet, but I hope so. If not then it's cool I can just do it, but it'd be pretty nice if we got to do this, I think it'd be a fun writing exercise. Anyways enough of my yapping, here's Witchy's original note. -MightBreaker 12

Chapter Text

It was a lovely afternoon in Paper University. Alot of the students were spending their free time in their own way. In one of the girl's dorms a bunch of the female students were in the common room. Some were chatting, other girls were doing their own thing.

In one of the tables two girls were trying to get through their mountain of work which they neglected the previous day. One of the girls was tall, like staggeringly tall. She could have been 8 to 9 feet tall at most. Her long, messy and jet black hair with big black horns as well as her pointed teeth made her resemble a carnivorous pine tree. The other girl was hilariously shorter than the first girl. She also had black horns, though her hair was short and straight.

The taller girl huffed in irritation and leaned in her chair. The shorter girl looked up while writing something and remarked, "Oh please Circle, its only been half an hour since we started."

At this, Circle complained,"But cousin Bloomie, its too much to finish all at once! You should take a break." She brought out a pack of oreos from her bag and proceeded to munch on them.

Bloomie side-eyed Circle in annoyance and said," You get hungry easily, dont you? and besides isn't this your seventeenth pack today?"

"Who cares?" Circle said and while eating the oreos she added,

" You should make some new friends."

"I dont have time for this kind of stuff and its only been two months since we got admitted here."

"We have two whole days off starting tomorrow! we could finish it by then!"

Bloomie considered this before sighing, putting her pen down and closing the book.

"I suppose you have a point…"

Suddenly an idea popped into Circle's head and she said,

"We should go clubbing by the evening!"

However Bloomie refused saying, "Oh HELL NO, I am already fine with the amount of friends I have!"

"I am literally your only friend Bloomie."

Bloomie was quiet at this. She was what you would call an antisocial introvert. She hated all sorts of social interaction with strangers and preferred to be by herself. Circle on the other hand was a little more social. The reason Circle didnt have many friends was because alot of people were intimidated by her.

Seeing that Bloomie fell silent, Circle smirked and slyly added "besides, you could get a girlfriend~"

"Shut up!" Bloomie retorted, blushing. One of the reasons why Bloomie was so antisocial was that she was afraid of what some people she knew would think if they found out she was a lesbian. She was always attracted to women and got super nervous whenever she had to speak to a pretty girl. Her past experiences didnt help with her lesbian anxiety.Circle was the only one who knew about it and didnt tell anyone. But she'd tease her cousin about it privately.

Circle got up from her table, and said

"See ya at the gate by 6. Bye, Blooms!"

and before Bloomie could say anything she had already left the building.

That tall dumbass.

Bloomie was already ready by 6:00. She didnt want to look overdressed and look just decent for the occasion. She wore a pale pink dress with a flowy skirt that reached a little over her knees. She had tights on with heels. Her hair was put in a half ponytail as always. She made sure nothing looked weird in the mirror. She left her room and locked the door.

Soon she was out of the building and headed to the gates. As she walked, she noticed Circle. Her hair was untidy as usual and she didnt seem to even comb it. But then again she looked iconic with her hair a mess. She was wearing an indigo dress. When Bloomie came beside her, Circle turned to see her.

She cheekily added,

"Oh there you are! didnt notice you down there."

"Ha Ha, really funny."

Bloomie said sarcastically. She asked,

"anyways are we getting a taxi for this?"

"No worries! I'll get it for ya"

Soon the two reached the club by 6:50 . As the two entered the party, alot of University students were there. Some were dancing, others were chatting but it was clear everyone was having a good time.

Circle and Bloomie decided to take a seat at the bar. "None of the drinks here are alcoholic, so you can have a sip whenever you need with no worry" Circle said to reassure her.

Bloomie nodded. Since the club felt a little too crowded for the midget's liking, she excused herself to go to the bathroom and told Circle not to worry about her. As Bloomie left the bathroom, she made for a secret entrance door that led outside, away from the din of the crowd and the music.

She went back to the bar but noticed Circle wasnt there. She must have gone dancing with the crowd, Bloomie thought. She took a lemonade from the bar and went to that door, not trying to bring attention. She stepped out of the club as she opened the door and quickly shut it behind her.

It was already dark outside with the moon and stars shining brightly. She noticed some benches in the small area of land that was empty except for her presence. She sat on a nearby bench and was blissfully taking small sips of her lemonade. Finally some peace and quiet…

However a minute later, somebody came. Bloomie turned to look, curious. Though it was dark outside, the light from the window illuminated the girl's characteristics.Call Bloomie a simp, but in her opinion, she was the most beautiful woman she had ever laid her eyes upon.

The girl that entered the place was a bit taller than Bloomie. Her hair was let out and slightly unkempt with no accessories. She had big silver hoop earrings with matching silver bangles on her claw-like hands. Her silver dress was tight, conviently dragging into places and emphasizing her chest, curves and hips.Just looking at her made Bloomie weak at her knees.

That girl noticed Bloomie and was a bit suprised, not expecting anyone here. She asked, "Is this seat for somebody?"

Bloomie was just absent-mindedly gazing at her the entire time and when the girl asked, she quickly snapped out of her gaze. "Uh-sure!" The shorter girl quickly said. The girl in silver smiled and seated near Bloomie.

Bloomie blushed and tried to hide it by looking away and taking occasional sips from her drink. She really wanted to start a conversation but her social anxiety was hindering the capability of doing so.But Bloomie was suprised when the pretty girl started the conversation. She asked,

"So, Whats your name?"

"…Bloomie."

"Bloomie? That's a really cute name!"

This caught her off guard. She was slightly pink in the face and hoped it would not be noticeable. She managed to mumble a 'thank you' and kept the conversation going.

"What's your name?"

"I'm Thavel."

"Thavel…? thats...unique."

"Anyways which college or uni are you in?"

"Paper University?"

"Really?" Thavel asked, looking pleasantly suprised. "I go there too!" she replied. Before long , Bloomie and Thavel were having a long and enjoyable chit-chat. They were talking about their hobbies, interests, plans and studies. Bloomie felt happy with herself, she was lucky she managed to make friends with a cute, pretty girl like Thavel ! Even though she felt she might be delusional, she felt she soon might get her as a girlfriend.

As they were talking, Bloomie asked Thavel,

"So are you here with a partner?"

"I actually came here with my boyfriend!"

boyfriend

boyfriend

boyfriend…

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

That word echoed into Bloomie's brain.

All of her hopes of getting a possible girlfriend were well and completely shattered. Of course pretty chicks like Thavel will be taken, how could I forget that!? Bloomie mentally scolded herself. Though no reaction was visible on her face, deep inside she was well and fully heartbroken.

Thavel noticed she was awfully quiet. She nervously asked her,

"Uhh... Anything happened ?"

"What? Oh, its nothing..."
Bloomie hastily replied not wanting to show emotion. Thavel felt she might have done something by the way Bloomie was so quiet but she couldnt tell what.

Thavel grabbed her purse and brought out a pack of cigarettes. As she lit them with a lighter she asked Bloomie if she wanted one but Bloomie politely refused. Every now and then, Bloomie would steal glances at Thavel. Even though she was just smoking a cigarette, she looked so elegant and attractive. The way she crossed her legs when she sat, the way she posed in such a relaxed yet sexy manner. Everything she did was effortlessly perfect.

Soon the door opened and both girls turned to look. It was Circle and she seemed a little more untidy and out of breath. "There you are Blooms! I was worried about you!" Circle said as she noticed Bloomie. She was glad she found her cousin in good shape with no harm inflicted on her. She noticed Thavel sitting near Bloomie and she sneered,

"Blooms, did you make a new friend~?"

"Circle,You're embarrassing me!"

Thavel suddenly sat up in surprise as she recognised Circle.

"Circle is that you? Like from middle school?"

She inquired. At first Circle was suprised on how she knew her name until she realised--

"Wait a minute, Thavel ?!"

Soon Thavel got up and started a conversation with Circle. Bloomie was suprised that the pretty girl and her cousin actually knew each other before.

As the other two talked,At one point Circle said,

"Hey you know that girl you were talking to earlier?'

"Yeah, she said her name was Bloomie, I think she's nice"

"Guess what? She's my cousin."

Thavel turned to look at a nervous-looking Bloomie. She smiled and added," I can see the similarities"

Suddenly Circle remembered why she needed Bloomie in the first place.

"Bloomie its 9 already,we have to reach the Uni before curfew!"

"Its 9 already ?!" Bloomie asked astounded as how time passed quickly. She asked Thavel if she needed a lift but she said she would go with her boyfriend.

Bloomie and Circle boarded a taxi and went back to the University. Circle asked Bloomie, "So, hows the first time at the club?"

"It was alright…"

Bloomie was not alright. She was upset and her heart was heavy. She knew this was a stupid reason to be sad but she couldnt help it. She literally met Thavel for the first time, she doesnt act like this to the people she first met. But it was clear, she was blinded by love at first sight.

She wishes it could be better…
