ARE YOU

ARE WE

...
EXCELLENT.
TRULY
EXCELLENT.
NOW.
BEFORE WE
BEGIN.
LET ME
TURN ON
THE LIGHT.
DENNIS - Aah, finally, I can see! Now... you must be wondering how I did that, don't you? Easy! I actually used two different divs :D
The first one, the one I used while I was roleplaying, is titled "oblivion" (though in the group we call it abyss, as it is grandfathered in from FOASM's homonimous sections). Here's how it looks like;
"div class="oblivion" "
DENNIS - To close the format, you need to write "/div" with a backslash (and between the triangular brackets/major than and minor than signs). You don't have to put the name of the format, as it will understand and close itself.
As an aside: The reason why Gaster's dialogue and my nametag look like this, is because they are the "neutral" span class (the colours change depending on the div class). I will expain the different types of span classes in a future chapter!
Now, the div class you're currently reading this on is titled "feld", but it's actually made up of TWO felds; "feld-body" and "feld-overlay-end!" you need to close the feld body BEFORE inputting the overlay-end, as otherwise the transition between the two won't be seamless. Let me show you how it looks, and as always remember the two bracket friends:
"div class="feld-body" "
"div class="feld-overlay-end" "
If while using FELD the text is long enough, both scrollbar and ball will appear. If the text is particularly long, then there will be some space between the end of the scrollbar and the actual FELD body end. That is part of the workskin, and cannot be changed. You can see it in the more long chapters, such as "Cirque du Solitaire" and both King chapters. I like to think of that hiccup as where the post-credits scene takes place, or even the scene where the episode is about to end, and you hear the music before it cuts to black and to the credits (do you remember when they used to do that?). It's very nice!
Next chapter will be all about checks and dialogue lists. See you then! :)
