He pulls the paper out of his pocket, reading it over now that his break has started. He ignores Bendy, who is reading over his shoulder, the best he can.
You, Cuphead, are hereby invited to King Dice and The Devil's wedding as the best man to King Dice.
You are allowed a Plus One. Pick wisely!
The Wedding is later today at 10 pm, and will be held inside the casino.
The casino will close early today, at 8 pm, to give time to prepare.
Formal wear is required.
He sighs and rolls his eyes as he shoves it back in his pocket. They had already told him all this this morning; there was no reason to send him an actual invite! "Oh, I didn't know they weren't married yet!"
"Neither did the rest of the invited staff," Cuphead replies, remembering all the baffled faces from the workers who actually showed up to the meeting this morning. Bendy arrived late due to...' traffic issues' and had missed it.
"Huh," Bendy waits a few seconds before popping the question, "So who's gonna be your plus one?"
"Nobody."
"No one? You don't have anyone you'd want to go with you?"
"No. Any of the other workers would've gotten an invite anyway,"
"Well~... I didn't! So maybe I can be your plus one?~" Cuphead pauses, thinking for a few seconds before simply responding,
"Sure,"
"Wait, really?"
"Yeah. I don't know why they didn't invite you, but I see no harm in letting you join me there," Maybe you'll even make it less boring-...Where did that come from?
"When is it then?"
"Didn't you just read it? It says Today at 10 pm."
"TODAY?!"

"Alright, if you don't already have a suit, I can bring ya to my tailor. I'm sure she can make ya one in time for the wedding tonight," Cuphead says, trying to help calm down Bendy, who's panicking over his lack of any formal wear. "I'll even pay for it, so don't worry about the cost." That offer catches Bendy off guard enough for him to pause and actually think about what he's saying. After all, everyone knows how stingy Cuphead can be with his money.
"You sure? That cannot be cheap-" Cuphead waves off his worries.
"It's whatever. I know I have enough, and you're technically doing me a favor by offering to come with me in the first place."

"Pirouletta? I know it's your day off, but I need your help with something!" He calls out, dragging Bendy in from behind. He ignores Bendy's attempts at convincing him that he's not worth all this effort; he's wrong anyway. "I'll even pay ya double to get it done by tonight!" Shortly after those words leave his mouth, he sees her.
"Ah, Cuphead! What a surprise, do you need a suit for the boss's wedding tonite?" He shakes his head before pulling Bendy in front of him. Bendy gives a nervous wave and 'Hello...' while Cuphead responds.
"Nah, we both know I have plenty of suits. I'm here because Bendy needs one for the wedding."
"I didn't think they'd invite him..." She mutters; however, it was still loud enough for him to hear.
"They didn't. He's going to be my plus one," He explains, following her into the other room so she can measure Bendy better.
"Bendy, I need to stand over here and reach out your arms straight from your sides. Stay still while I wrap the measuring tape around you." While Pirouletta is measuring Bendy, correcting him at every opportunity, Cuphead turns away to look at the fabrics. While she doesn't have as many as Pip 'n Dots due to this being more of a hobby for her than an actual job, she still has a lot of choices for him to look through while he waits for them to finish. Seeing his attention being elsewhere, "Y'know, this is the first time he's ever brought me a client himself,"
"...It is?" She nods before jabbing him in the side.
"Yes. He typically tells people who ask to go to Pip 'n Dots instead. Even though I know he finds them annoying to work with." She wraps the tape a little too tightly around him this time. "You're very lucky. You're the only person he has willingly spent money on."
I am? "Straighten your back. Slouching will mess up all my measurements." She scolds, "I can tell what you're thinking, for a demon, you're embarrassingly easy to read. Be thankful Cuphead is extremely bad at reading people's emotions when they're for him." What does that even mean?- His thoughts are cut off whenever she pulls him towards her extremely roughly with the tape, and he swears her eyes start glowing, "Break his heart, and you will only know pain for the rest of your life-"
"Hey! You guys almost done in there?" Cuphead calls out from the other room, causing her to return back to normal, releasing Bendy and marking everything down on a sheet of paper.
"Yes. It should be done in a few hours. Make sure you come at least one hour before the wedding, just in case adjustments need to be made," She says, while Bendy is just standing there awkwardly trying to figure out what to do with himself. Eventually, he gets the hint from her, not that she was really hiding it, and goes towards Cuphead. Before they leave, Cuphead makes sure to leave his payment on the nearby table, waving her a good-bye as he grabs hold of Bendy's arm and heads towards the door.
"You're being awfully quiet. Did something happen while she was getting your measurements?" Cuphead asked, his voice snapping Bendy out of his thoughts,
"N-no! No, I'm just nervous about the wedding today." Bendy answers, waving his hands around as if trying to convince both of them. Eventually, Cuphead just decides to drop it. Surely, it cannot be that bad?

As they walk back into Pirouletta's place, Bendy cannot stop staring at Cuphead. He's already changed into his suit because after they pick up Bendy's, they're just gonna go straight to the wedding. Cuphead's suit is one that The Devil and King Dice had tailored for him some time ago; it's mostly black with a deep red for the trim and cuffs, with a red diamond with a golden outline over his heart. If you look even closer inside the red areas, you can see tiny specs of blue inside, fluttering about. The pants are also mostly black, but with some golden specs this time scattered around. The orderly chaos in it feels so fitting-
"What? Do...I got something on my face, Bendy?" Cuphead asks as they finally reach her place, he starts opening the door as Bendy answers.
"No!"
"Ya sure? You were staring a awful lot,"
"N-no! There's nothing on you. I was just...admiring the suit," He says, before Pirouletta appears near them.
"I've gotten the suit ready. Come this way to try it on," Is all she says before disappearing into the other room again. As soon as they enter, she grabs Bendy and hands the clothes to him before pointing him to where he needs to go in order to change.

The suit she made for Bendy, while not as much is going on in it as with Cuphead's it still looks good in its simplicity. It too is mostly black, but instead of a red trim, it's white with specks of gold inside. Over his heart is a golden club, with little specs of red inside. The pants are just plain black, with nothing else going on in them. However, there's something Bendy can't help but notice-
"Oh, cool! We're matching," Says Cuphead, looking over Bendy's new outfit, "You look good."
"Of course he does. I don't make anything that looks bad," Huffs out Pirouletta in false offense. While Bendy's face heats up in response to the compliment. Cuphead grabs ahold of Bendy as he turns out to leave,
"Thanks Pirouletta! See ya at the wedding!" He gives a small wave as they go back to the casino,
"You're welcome,"
