So cold. Even for a machine it was shivering in the alley. He rested with his friend, Toomp. Ever since they escaped from death they have been living in fear. When will it come back for them? They first though they could defeat it pernamently but after their 1. attemp they had to realise that they have no chance.
" Its all his fault" he thought "He put his own problems on us, now WE have to handle it! Why did i even trust him in the first place? Was I...THAT desperate?" He clenched his metal fist. He wanted to make sure he would understand even if they never meet again.
From the top of a building where those 2 were easily visible, that certaint someone was spying from above. So far, everything he did or said to them that was hurtful he would always regret. "How can I make it up from u pal?" He didnt know. He sitted down on the edge with a sigh of desperation, then he pulled out a box of cigarettes and lit up one of them with his electric fingers. Even with a metal head he could taste the nitrogen. The dust when into the air when he thought in anger:
"Why? Why did i had to be so selfish? Why didnt I turn left then?"
A colorfull tear dropped down from his screen right down to his old buddies. The machine noticed that and peeked up where Puzzles was. In a flash the grey legs dissapeared from above leaving Wpnz confused. He scratched his metal head but ultimately decided to ignore the signs. Back on top the TV man was no longer standing. He felt he couldnt face them yet. He never fekt like this to anyone before. His previous friend Leggy didnt like him at first and for a while he did yearn for her he was way more desperate for Wpnz. Was that more than friendship that he felt? He didnt know yet. What he did know is that he needs to keep going. He dropped the cigarettes and pulled out something else, the bullet.
"Oh dear, i Wish I could just explain, but thats never how that works, even in the movies the hero has to do something drastic to earn love...or in this case friendship" Speaking of which, something unfortunately familiar cought the attension of him. A tall rectangle shaped being with 1 glowy eye coming right towards his friends. Puzzles stepped back, he cant let it hurt them again. Not this time. In a moment of hesitation he thought of a plan, it may be risky but he didnt care anymore.
Down in the alley, Wpnz also noticed the hollow blue light aproaching. He instantly knew what was coming. He shaked his pink buddy but he didnt budge. "Dammit Toomp! Your really making this more difficult" He decited to just grab him and climb one of the buildings. He used his machine legs to make himself fly up to the construction. He thought they were safe but then he heard a huge weight drop behind him. He turned and saw that dang fridge.
-CRIMINALS YOU'RE UNDER ARREST
-I DONT CARE YOU DAMN BITCH
He said as he armed himself with his hand guns. Luckly his friend woke up and turned into a long katana. Wpnz started running further away from it while his buddy was blocking its attacks. It was coming closer quickly behind them and its attacks became faster amd faster so much so that Toomp couldnt keep up. Wpnz noticed his cry for help amd as he was trying to reasure him that its alright his legs were caught by a slimy touge. The cube began to pull him closer to its open door, his death. Wpnz hold onto to the his friend strechy goo, but unfortunately the cube wasnt patient enough. It shot a huge lazer beam onto wpnz. The blue light was very vivid and powerfull and his screams were very much hearable. Toomp released his grip as he tried to walk closer to save his friend however he didnt have ebough energy. He couldnt keep awake anymore his vision started to blurr but before hus eyes could fully close he saw another blue light apearing from something else.
The original light started to perish and the new light on top of it overpowered the cube. It was from Puzzles. Releasing as much electricity as he could onto the cube he was on. The cube didnt close its mouth yet, it was trying to grab Puzzles with its slimy tounge. As soon as the touge got close enough he grabbed it with his hand. The electricity coming out of it went inside the cube's mouth almost paralizing it.
-THATS FOR HURTING MY FRIENDS!
The Death Cube fell down the building and as soon as it did Puzzles jumped down from it landing on the ground instead. He swiftly wiped the liquid coming from his screen and glaced towards the person he saved. Wpnz fully malfunctioned by the blue beam, not moving at all. Puzzles kneeled down next to him and grabbed his big palms. His eyes were shut, not even wincing by the sudden touch.
-No! You cant die yet! Not when i was about to-
Sudden color drops fell down from the screen straight into the motionless friend. His grip tightened on his hands as his desperation grew.
-I should have been faster, It should have been me-
He released his grip. He wiped his tears once again. The wind blew his antennas as the tension grew.
-You wont understand at first, but I have to do this...
