Work Text:
Harmony knew what was happening.
She woke up, broken out of her sleep, and she could hear that Lida had too. Letting out a sad sigh, she left her room and went to Lida’s, knocking on the door quietly.
Harmony heard her shuffling behind the door, and then Lida opened it. “Hey,” Lida mumbled. The dancer had dark circles under her eyes, and a sorrowful expression.
“Hey. Can’t sleep?”
“...No.”
“Those nightmares again?’
Lida hesitated. “Yes. It’s not a big deal, don’t worry…” She was rubbing her arm.
Harmony didn’t buy it. She knew Lida had been having those nightmares of Ange for a long time now. She hadn’t been getting any good sleep for a while now.
She held Lida’s hand. “You want me to stay with you tonight?”
“...I’d like that,” Lida admitted. Harmony gave a small smile, and Lida led her to the bed.
As the two settled in, Lida pulling the covers over them, Harmony wrapped her arms around her fellow team member in a hug. “Goodnight, Lida,” She said.
Lida smiled back. “Night, Harmony.” The two shared a gentle kiss, and fell asleep. Harmony didn’t let go of Lida, and she appreciated it.
She slept better with Harmony by her side.
