Work Text:

The pounding base filtered through the room as lights flashed, multi-colored strobes lighting up the dark club as bodies swayed and grinded against each other. Drunk people were laughing loudly, stumbling against their partners or friends, while others danced to the music played by the in house DJ.

In the middle stood a man so beautiful it made people wonder if he was an illusion or real. Long black hair slid down his back to his waist, a tight cropped black shirt that was more like strips of cloth than actual shirt wrapped around his arms and chest.

Fishnets hugged his waist tightly under ripped black jeans, ankle boots tipped by a silver steel toe covered his feet. His nails were crimson with a black butterfly stenciled on his ring fingers, a few tattoos could be seen under the strapped top.

A sword down the length of his spine, script along his ribs on his right. A lotus flower bloomed over his heart and at his hip just under the waistband of his jeans sat a butterfly that you only saw in the right lighting.

Black liner was expertly smudged around his eyes, lashes already long enough to make a woman jealous. Lips stained from wine he danced like he didn’t have a care in the world. His eyes were closed, his hips swaying to the music as his hands slid along his body to the beat.

People were staring, but he paid no mind to the onlookers. There was only one person he was interested in, and their eyes had been locked on him since he’d entered the Club with his friends.

A thin sheen of sweat glistened against his pale skin as he finally opened his eyes, moonstone eyes bright under the club lights. Smirk slowly spreading over his lips, he tilted his head to look towards the 2nd floor where the VIP lounge sat.

There, standing at the railing was the owner of said club, one hand gripping the railing while the other held a glass of whiskey raised to his lips. His dual-colored orbs were locked on the lithe dancer’s form of the other, unable to tear his gaze away even if he’d wanted to.

Some idiot with a pin that should’ve gotten him kept out was making his way towards the one he was gazing at. And well, that just wouldn’t do. Hua Cheng set his glass down before lifting himself up over the railing with the hand still gripping it and launched himself over easily.

Moonstone eyes boy, Wei Ying went wide-eyed as he saw this. Mouth parting in shock, people scrambled out of the way as Hua Cheng landed before him in a crouch. Grinning, he glanced up at Wei Ying in amusement.

“The fact I can still surprise you after this long should feel insulting.” Hua Cheng teased, moving closer as he leaned into Wei Ying’s ear.

The crimson silk button up shirt and black trousers were tailored to fit his tall athletic build, screaming power and money towards anyone who even looked at him. Those polished black dress shoes on his feet cost more than most of these peoples houses.

“Rude.” Wei Ying said breathlessly, laughing a little.

Hua Cheng simply grinned, before a gun appeared in his hand and aimed right at the man who’d been walking towards his lover. The man froze, this place was neutral ground for sure… but anyone that went after Hua Cheng’s boyfriend wouldn’t like the consequences.

“A Wen? In my Club? Daring.” Hua Cheng said, voice calm as the man stood straighter. The cronies behind the oblivious idiot stood horrified.

Wei Ying didn’t even bother to turn around, Hua Cheng knew the good ones from the bad ones. If he was pulling a gun on one, it was one Wei YIng had told him should be disposed of in the worst possible way.

“You wouldn’t dare!” Wen Chao sneered, all bravado. He clearly had no idea just who Hua Cheng was at this moment, and that was his funeral.

“Funny, you walk into my Club thinking you have any kind of say about what happens in here. Your Daddy doesn’t scare me, boy.” Hua Cheng smiles, but it sends shivers down everyone’s spines.

That’s the smile of a man that’s gone through hell and enjoyed every second of it.

“You think I’m not aware of you having the backing of the Jin?” Hua Cheng continues, people turning to stare in disbelief as Wen Chao’s face goes through multiple emotions. “Those Peacocks are lucky they have any standing as it is. Don’t push your luck.”

His voice turns to ice. “Get out, or leave in a body bag.”

“M-my father w-would kill you-u!” Wen Chao threatens, though it’s not convincing with all the stuttering.

“Yeah? He wouldn’t be the first to try. Sure as hell won’t be the last either. Wen Rouhan’s an idiot if he thought sending you into my club without proper heads up was a good fucking idea.” Hua Cheng replies easily, chuckling.

Wen Chao pales, his hand reaching for his own gun but he doesn’t get close as Hua Cheng pulls the trigger of his own.

BANG!

Wen Chao screams as the bullet tears through his shoulder, blood splattering behind and he goes down clutching the wound and spluttering about revenge.

Hua Cheng cocks his gun again, motioning at the other Wen almost lazily. “You think I won’t kill him?” He asks, voice completely casual. Most people had slid out the side entrances, in instances like this; it was why Paradise Manor was built the way it was.

Wen Zhuliu, a man who’d known Hua Cheng a long time simply winced in sympathy. “Hua Chengzhu…”

A sharp look was cut towards him, “He brought this on himself, he’s lucky it wasn’t his head. Get that thing out of my club, and tell his Daddy he’s on my list.” He finished, face eerily blank.

All of the Wen went pale at that, knowing the List wasn’t a place anyone ever wanted to be on. Anyone that was completely disappeared, erased as if they never existed to begin with. He was completely thorough and it was terrifyingly brilliant.

Wen Zhuliu grabbed Wen Chao roughly, uncaring of the younger man’s blubbering as they nearly bolted. Fear had them all lowering their heads like the prey they now were.

“Gege.” Wei Ying said softly, tilting his head to the side and up as he gazed at his boyfriend of 3 years.

“They had it coming, A-Ying.” Was all he got in response, before he motioned for some men to come over and clean.

“Get that filth off my floors, and start protocol 5.” He said, reaching out to twine his fingers with Wei Ying’s and tug him gently behind him as they walked off the main floor. Heading for the staircase, they made it to his office on the third floor quickly and he tapped in a code.

With a soft click, the door slid closed behind them after they entered and Wei Ying slipped over to the wall of computers. Settling in the plush computer chair, his fingers flew over the keys as his moonstone eyes glowed iridescent from the screens.

Hua Cheng leaned over his shoulder and watched silently, a hand against the desk as his other rested against Wei Ying’s back. Soothing his large palm up and slowly, he grinned when they found it.

A file containing names of every idiot loyal to Wen Rouhan. “Post this tomorrow.” Hua Cheng murmured, leaning in to press a kiss to Wei Ying’s throat.

Smiling slightly, Wei YIng tilted his head to the side to allow more room for his lover before replying. “6am?” He teased, voice a little breathless as his pulse sped up from the closeness.

“We both know you won’t be up that early.” Hua Cheng rumbled back, causing the other to whine petulantly. Chuckling, his hand slid up to tangle in Wei Ying’s hair to tug his head back before pressing his lips to the other’s.

The kiss was slow, almost predatory and full of silent meaning. Anyone Wei Ying cared about automatically became Hua Cheng’s priority too, had always been like that. This case was no different.

“Set it to go off automatically.” He murmured, voice rough as he pulled back. Both of them breathless and panting from the kiss as Wei Ying’s eyes were dazed.

“...Okay.” Wei Ying muttered, speechless for a breath before blinking and typing in a few demands to do just that.

With that, Hua Cheng swung him up into his arms, causing the younger to gasp in surprise before a startled laugh left his lips. “Gege, what are you-?”

He’s cut off as Hua Cheng glances down at him, dual-colored eyes dark with desire. “I’m going to ravish you for the rest of the night.” He smirked.

Eyes going wide, Wei Ying spluttered as his cheeks grew pink. All that was heard was his gasp as another door clicked shut before a high pitched moan.

No one touched Wei Ying but him.
