Akk pressed his lips together, his phone buzzing again. All that he wanted was to finally start focusing on work, but it seemed that Ayan was back to texting him and he sighed along, shaking his head a little bit, but the smile was there on his lips.
It was new.
Akk had recently given his phone number to Ayan and the other one wouldn’t stop texting him. The two of them weren’t quite co-workers, but they worked in the same building. Akk had been crushing on Ayan for a long time now. He would take any chance that he had to ride the elevator, just so that he could get the chance to perhaps ride it together with Ayan.
It was pretty obvious just how much into Ayan he was and it worked both ways.
So, a few weeks ago, Ayan finally decided to make the first move and he asked Akk out properly. Akk didn’t hesitate at all, he agreed to go out on a date with Ayan right away, but there were quite a lot of things that he had learned about Ayan since then.
Ayan was very clingy, which he happened to love. Also, Ayan kept flirting with him pretty relentlessly and now that he had his number, he was always texting him. Akk didn’t mind it too much, but there were times that he wanted to focus on work, but Ayan kept distracting him. Then again, he could just not reply to Ayan right away, but that was also… not something that he wanted.
Akk didn’t want Ayan to think that he was ignoring him, so he always responded. Even if he was busy, he didn’t really care too much about it and he slowly unlocked his phone to see what Ayan was texting him about this time and a little smile spread across his face when he saw Ayan’s text.
It was only one.
One and short.
Just his name, actually, but it got Akk blushing already, shaking his head. He patted his warm cheeks with his cold hands and he looked around to see if anyone was watching him, but everyone else was busy, so Akk quickly ducked his head down and made sure to reply to Ayan’s text.

‘Harrassing’ Akk through texts has become Ayan’s favourite hobby. He wasn’t really harassing him, but Akk kept calling it like that. If Akk really didn’t want him to keep texting him, then all that needed to happen was Akk to stop replying back, but Akk didn’t do that.

Ayan smiled as he was already writing a new text.
It was the next day and he was already missing Akk.

Akk’s eyes wandered over to his phone and he wondered what Ayan wanted to know now. Of course he responded. How could he not? It was all that he did now – wait for more texts from Ayan!

Akk rolled his eyes and sighed.

Getting daily texts from Ayan was something that Akk has gotten used to right now. He stopped complaining and started enjoying himself, sighing when he saw that Ayan had texted him something again, unlocking his phone.

Akk’s cheeks reddened when he realised that he was indeed lonely and missing Ayan more than he wanted to admit to himself, but it was true. The texts were there to keep his mind occupied and he pouted a little bit.
