Aurea Juniper is a busy woman to all in Unova. Being the region’s Pokemon professor to helping and teach young trainers all about the wonders of Pokemon.
And of course giving them their very own starter Pokemon otherwise their very first companion.
Her father was the previous professor before her. Her father was the first inspiration into becoming a Pokemon professor and he was proud of her. She remembers the very first day as a pokemon professor, that she swore that her father shed a tear.
But now she was given a very odd task by the local police. Or rather had to take care of a dark blue haired teen with a very large Hisuian Zoroark (she have heard about unknowingly large Pokémon and the term 'Alpha Pokemon' in the old history books about Sinnoh) who are currently watching the T.V in her living room.
The teen’s name is Aki and her Hisuian Zoroark’s name is Hope. She remembers how they first met at her Lab after drop off by a local cop, after two days. The teen was bit nervous and avoided eye contact before slowly warm up.
Then Aurea was greeted by the very large Pokemon, who simply huffed at her. It wasn’t a great start but that change over the two days.
They were odd pair with the girl choosing to stay by her Pokemon. While the simply larger Hisuian Zoroark was eyeing her if she was a future threat but later decided to trust her, she had to admit that she was curious by this region’s variant of Zoroark.

The Pokédex had only bits of information about the fox’s mysterious origins written by Professor Laventon. How its species evolved in the harsh conditions in Hisui, how it changed its typing from dark-type to a normal and ghost-type.
If she remembers correctly, the news on T.V was quickly talking about a recent report that local people reported about a child was found walking with a supposed extinct Pokemon. There was no image of course but..
It meant some people leak out the information about the two to the media making things difficult.
If Team Plasma finds this being true then……Don’t think about it, that’s a worse case scenario that could possibly happen.
She shook her head at the awful thought. But Aurea felt that she forgetting something important about day.
Then it hit her.
She remember that today is she’s supposed to give the new trainers their first Pokemon.
Oh Arceus..
She sighed softly before heading outside, but she felt a slight worry about leaving the kid here. But…she’ll ask if they wish join her..
Aurea heard heavy footsteps follow by quick ones. There stood Aki panting and larger ghostly Zoroark at the entrance of the house.
”Professor Juniper, are you going somewhere?….” The dark blue-haired question, staring at her with those wide curious grey eyes.
Well it’s now or never
“Well Aki, I was about to go and greet the new trainers, who are about to start their journey” she says at the teen who blinked at her before nodding.
“Can I go and greet them before they leave”
The Hisuian Zoroark gave a bark and small gesture at the teen who suddenly nodded at the normal—ghost type.
”Also Hope wants to join too sooooo can she along. I promise that she’ll be good and won’t do any trouble” Aki says as she points out to the large Pokemon. With the Hisuian Zoroark giving sad whining sounds at her.
Oh these two …
“Ok, but be at your best behavior and I’m saying to the both of you” at she points directly at the two of them.
Aki and the Hisuian Zoroark both looked at each other with big smiles before rushing at her with happy cries. Who knew that hugs can be this painful.
She was able to hear Aki’s painful or choking voice as both were being bear hug by the large ghostly Zoroark.
“HOPE YOUR-ACK—OH DAMNN—YOUR CHOCKING US” Aki croaked before suddenly both of them were release by the fox. The two were gasping for air before slowly catching their breath.
Noted—Be aware of a Hisuian Zoroark’s bear hug.
The Zoroark had her head down in front of her before giving small barks as to look to be very sorry. Aki calmly walk towards to the large mon before stopping.
”Hey it wasn’t totally your fault—I mean kinda is that your hugs can choke the life out of us” The teen points out at larger Pokemon before getting tackled by the Hisuian Zoroark that almost gave Aurea a heart attack.
”Are two done? We have three Pokemon ready to meet their future trainers” she reminded them as she walked forward towards the path leaving the play fighting two behind.
That seems to work as the wrestling duo stopped and before speed walking up with her.
Aurea swore these two are going to be magnet for trouble.
But she wonders if Aki is willing to go with the new trainers with to gym challenge around Unova. After all she knows Aki will get along with Hilda.
