They cherished each other. Went around exploiting together.
They were what one would call a “dynamic duo”.
Until..they weren’t.
In an instant, everything was gone. All the struggles they went through, places they hacked, drinks they shared.
It was all gone.
And no one was to blame but the both of them.

I made my choices, he made his.
So I don’t know why it hurt when he left. I don’t know why I even dared to trust him after every red flag.

Nonetheless, the two grew further apart.
Further and further.
Until, nothing of their friendship existed.
It was gone.
