Sword stared at the night sky, admiring the night sky. He reached his hand out to them, as if to get a sense of coverage from them. Though, he hadn't been expecting anything. The sky won't bring him too much after all. Although, In a far away distance— a quiet, serene demigod laid above the clouds, or as the ones below call him.. Stargazer, observing the red inphernal. He had found himself captivated. Oddly captivated... Though, he silently shook his head and sighed as he smiled softly.
'Ahaha.. how interesting... I've never seen such inphernal before.'
He muttered under his breath as his mind wandered. A once self-isolated deity has found himself watching an inphernal who would definitely not recognize him. Nonetheless, he would continue finding himself staring at them. The more he looks after him, the more he learns. Every night, he kept an eye on Sword— but one thing stood out to him in particular. The energy of this inphernal matched the sun. Much similar to a close friend of his.
'What an intriguing one. He's just like Sunburst.'
He thought about visiting him tonight, but he'll have to think about it.

"Ah shoot, it's getting really late... and I really don't want to get scolded again by Venomshank.." Sword fretted, knowing the last time he did he got a lecture about how dangerous the Crossroads were. He scrambled up to his feet before sprinting back to the house where he and his mentor lived. After his hands fumbled with the door handle, he managed to get it open as he entered the house. Sword attempted to shut the door as quietly as possible before...
FLICK.
Phuck.
And who stood before him, was his mentor. Venomshank.
“Ah.. Venomshank. I didn’t think you’d still be up this late...” Sword anxiously muttered.
Though he couldn’t physically see it, he could tell Venomshank was somewhat frowning. Well isn’t that just great.
“I see that you’re back late again, Sword.” Venomshank bluntly said.
Sword flailed his hands around wildly as he stumbled over his words, trying to find his voice.
“W.. well you know.. I was just out stargazing..! I thought the stars tonight were really mesmerizing and I couldn’t help myself but stare at them for a while…” Sword stammered as he made hand movements to try and explain.
He saw his mentor visibly grow less tense, allowing him to let out a sigh of relief before hearing him speak again.
“I can see, they do seem somewhat brighter this season. Just keep in mind that you need to stay alert and focused when you’re out there. You might not know what could be dangerous and harmful to your health.” Venomshank reminded.
Gosh, this man was just protective of him, wasn’t he?
Sword relaxed his tensed shoulders as he nodded, knowing full well that his mentor just wanted to see him safe.
“I promise, I’ll try.. no... I’ll be more careful. On my life!” Sword exclaimed.
He heard a small sigh from him and silently celebrated in his thoughts. He managed to convince him!!
“Alright. But remember your training that’s in the next few days.” Venomshank spoke, calling after Sword as he watched him stumble up the stairs.
Ah.. right. Training. Almost forgot. “Yeah..!! I’ll keep that in mind..” He yelled back.
He trudged up the staircase as he entered his room, brushing his teeth and putting on his pajamas before flopping himself into the bed, immediately falling asleep.

‘Damn, was I that tired? It’s like I collapsed before I knew it.’
But… this dream feels odd, and looks different from my usual dreams, which I will not disclose. It’s so calm here. Look at all these clouds. Wait, will I wake up if I fall of the clouds? There’s no fence or anything... nah I’m not risking it.
Sword strolled upon the cloud path that looks like it has been laid out just for him. And as he approached the end of the fluffy route, his eyes spotted a crescent moon.. with someone on it? Oh no, he was not taking any risks. The minute he saw the figure turn around and land near him, he summoned his gear and aimed it at the stranger out of defense.
“Ah,” The stranger gasped while raising both arms up. “I mean no harm..”
He slowly lowered his gear and eyeballed him skeptically. Yeah.. like that’s enough to convince him.
“How can I trust you? This is my first time meeting you..” Sword grumbled. There’s no way he’s gonna let his guard down and allow them to attack him while he’s vulnerable. But why was he so... irritatingly beautiful..?! It pissed him off! A small dust of red spread across his face but his face stayed courageous. How can someone potentially dangerous look so handsome?? It was bugging him..
Stargazer only observed Sword before smiling, chuckling softly. “Perhaps introductions are necessary. Please excuse my ignorance for the lack of information. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Stargazer. Though, I wouldn’t mind getting your name as well.”
Sword coughed, thinking he could keep an eye out for any suspicious behavior that he could find when he could. “My name is Sword, as of my gear. Wait a minute, what even is your gear?! You better not us it against me to retaliate. Otherwise, you’ll have a small taste of my blade.”
Stargazer shook his head as he lowered his arms, clasping his hands together. “No, no. As I said earlier, I mean no harm. I have no ill-mannered intentions in mind. However I have been observing your behavior in the previous nights and have recognized your love for stargazing. I find it humorous as my name also correlates to it in particular. Though, I have to admit. You are one beautiful inphernal. Of course, I mean it as a compliment.”
What the.. huh?!
“E.. Excuse me?! Are you smooth-talking me..?? Is this your way of catching someone off-guard to attack?!” Sword spluttered as he felt the blood rush all the way to his cheeks, his face burning up with a red, glowing blush as he tried to not squirm. SFOTH, he really hopes Stargazer isn’t trying to make him a big flustered mess just to catch him lacking..
“Hm.. maybe I am. But, I don't mean to attack at all. Though, would you like me to stop saying such things?” Stargazer asked curiously.
Dammit.. He wanted to say, ‘Yeah, don’t call me beautiful, I don’t like how smooth, pretty and nice you are..!!!’ But he couldn’t bring himself to say it. Why couldn’t he?? It was just a few simple words and now his voice is gone as if it had left to go on an adventure or something!!
"Just- don't say stuff like that again. I still don't trust you, Stargazer or whatever.. why is he annoyingly gorgeous..??" Sword groaned, his voice still laced with suspicion.
He glanced up at Stargazer as realization flooded into his mind and panic set in. "WAIT WAIT WAIT...- I didn't mean to say that..!!! Ah... Phuck.. I am so sorry, that just slipped out I swear it was an accident.. Pleaseforgiveme..-" He was about to ramble on and on before getting cut off by Stargazer, hearing a soft chuckle come from his lips. This man was just trying to kill him, wasn't he..?
But before he knew it, the dream was coming to a close and his vision was fading to black. the last things he heard were, '...... ord........ will..... ou......... agai.........' before he fully blacked out, and woke up in the comfort of his own bed.
...
"What the hell was that?"
