Sheng Shaoyou kept silent as he held Shen Wenlang’s hand. The little alpha had been bold in stating that he wasn’t scared on the ride over. However the moment they got out of the car he’d taken hold of Sheng Shaoyou’s hand. Shen Wenlang was so close to him that their shoulders brushed as they went down the hallway of the haunted house that Hua Yong insisted that they visit. Inside, Hua Yong and Gao Tu disappeared down the other path leaving behind a trail of their laughter.
“We don’t have to continue.” Sheng Shaoyou offered when he felt Shen Wenlang shiver as a motion activated skeleton that had an extra loud haughty laugh.
“Yes we do or I’ll never hear the end of it from Yong.” Shen Wenlang sighed. Hua Yong had begged for this date tonight and he didn’t want to disappoint him. He was glad that his alpha was with him. They made him feel safe enough to allow him to be vulnerable. He was pulled from his thoughts as he was ushered into the dimly lit alcove. Sheng Shaoyou gently lifted his chin between the curl of his index and thumb.
“Do you want to be here, Wenlang?” Sheng Shaoyou leaned in like he was going to kiss him with his voice low only Hua Yong would be able to hear if he was focused on them.
Shen Wenlang let out a shaky breath as he considered what he wanted. “I want some of the popcorn and cider at the stall before coming here.”
“Then let’s go.” Sheng Shaoyou pressed a gentle kiss to his little alpha’s soft lips. “Text Tutu for them to join us when they're done.” That earned him a nod and for Shen Wenlang’s scent to take a sweeter note as he was happy to be leaving the haunted house.
