Summary:
Azune finds someone to protect.
Terror seizes Azune's heart in a tight grip. He feels— lightheaded, unsteady. Will he see Bolaire again, if he lets him leave? How long before news reaches him of another death?
No, he tells himself. The Rebellion's over. He's just going back to the museum. You'll see him again.
Yet even as he tries to convince himself of what he knows to be facts, his right hand reaches, unbidden, towards Bolaire's cloak.
