Chapter Text
Meet Bob.
Well, Bob is what he likes to be called, these days.
His real name is The Awful Abnormal. Bit of a mouthful, isn’t it? And rude.
Very true, though. In his world, he is an abnormality.
No, it’s not what you think, everyone in his world looks like him.
Two arms, two legs, big bones, 6 feet tall. Light skinned, purple hair. Horns on his head, big ears, bright orange eyes. His clan’s mark on his chest.
Yeah, Bob looks normal.
He is an Abnormal because he speaks.
Nobody in his world can speak, they communicate through telepathy.
Bob was born without the ability of telepathy, but he was born with the ability to speak.
Which is why he is The Awful Abnormal. None of his brethren liked to communicate with him.
Bob didn’t have an easy life, especially until he understood why it was so difficult.
And that is why, when the opportunity to go to another world presented itself, he took it without hesitating.
Life on Earth isn’t perfect. He travels a lot, he’s always on the move or hiding in woods, swamps or caves.
But life on Earth is better, because sometimes, people stumble upon him.
Most times, he manages to present himself in a manner that isn’t frightening.
Well, except the initial meeting.
After that, after he speaks and explains himself, people talk to him.
It’s always short and fleeting, but Bob learns a lot of different things from humans.
He loves the things the people tell him, the stories, the science, the arts.
Bob loves talking to humans, when they stumble upon him.
