Chapter Text
Kamen Rider.
This is the title of a legion of masked heroes forged by justice and tragedy. Brave men and women who shoulder the burdens onto themselves to battle against the forces of evil. They battle endlessly to defend the Mother Earth that they hold dear.
There was one such Kamen Rider, whose past was defined in bloodshed and terror. He who fought to reclaim the humanity that was taken from him. He fought, and fought, and continued fighting, until one day, in order to save all of reality from destruction, he was forced to make the ultimate sacrifice. That was 10 years ago.
Now, it is the year 2006, and the name of the Kamen Rider has fallen into myth and urban legend. But now a new breed of masked warriors are about to be unleashed. The tremble of their approach cannot be stopped.
The facade of the meek crumbles, and a new era awakens, with a primal scream!
Kyōryū no Naku Koro ni: Kamen Rider Jura
File 001: Reemergence
Slowly, his vision returned... And he found his vision green and made of gelatin. He tried to move around, but his movement was restricted. He looked down and found himself bound to chains. He tried to break out, struggling, but to no avail. Looking forward, he saw himself in a lab, being looked at by several scientists. He tried to speak, but of course, no sound came, realizing that he was wearing a breathing apparatus that muffled his voice.
'Where...am I...' he thought to himself in a panic.
One week ago...
The morning sun rose over the horizon, brightening the village of Hinamizawa. It was a simple town far into the countryside, and it was perfect for simple town living, thank you very much. The sun shone down on a modest house sitting near a road and was protected by a stone fence. It didn't look all that different from the other houses that were nearby. The sign on the house's mailbox read: "Ryuugu-Banabara".
Inside the house, a waiting tone hummed before someone from the other line answered.
"Hello, Shishibone General Hospital," a voice answered.
"Ah, yes. This is Banabara," the woman standing in the kitchen answered. "Sorry, I called earlier... yes... yes... how is my dad doing?"
"Huh? Didn't they already tell you?"
"Yes..." the woman answered, and then hesitated. "Well... Sorry, just a little paranoid. I mean, it's stage 4 we're talking about, isn't it?"
"You are just concerned about your father, Banabara-san. It's normal. With chemotherapy, we can help your father manage his symptoms. But I'll be frank with you. With how far his cancer has spread, the chances of him living longer than a year are slim. At best, he has six more months."
"What should I do then?"
"Make preparations, and make sure his remaining time is as comfortable as possible. I'm sorry I could not give you any better news."
"It's fine. I understand. When we finally detected it, we knew chances were slim. We just had hope it'll get better."
"It's fine to have hope, Banabara-san, but you must also be ready to face reality."
"Thank you, doctor. Goodbye."
Rena "Cute Mode" Ryuugu-Banabara hung up, ending the call, looking out through the window as she breathed a deep sigh. A teenage boy peeked through the kitchen, looking at his mother in concern.
"Kaa-chan, are you OK?" he asked.
"I'm fine, Jiro." His mother wiped her tears away. "Breakfast is on the table."
"Oh, OK." Jiro went and sat down at the dining table to have his breakfast. A moment later, his mother went to join him.
Rena didn't seem to have changed all that much over the years. Even as she was approaching her 40s, she managed to retain her natural cuteness. She's what many teenage boys would call a MILF. Her orange-shaded brown hair was still kept at shoulder length, and her eyes were still blue as ever. Even when dressed in a simple long house dress and house slippers, her appearance seemed magnetic. She was one of several women in the village whom most of the older village women believed found "the secret to eternal youth". Normally, she just laughed it off.
Her son, Shinjiro, or Jiro as he was commonly called for short, inherited much of his mother's looks. He had short orange hair that was mostly spiky in appearance, with a pair of long antennae on his head and blue eyes. He also had an average height and an average body. He played sports and was active, so he had some muscle on him. He was dressed in a simple high school uniform: a white button-up shirt with black pants. Shinjiro was considered to be...odd. He didn't function the same way most kids his age did, and had an obsession with anything he found interesting. His biggest obsession of all was dinosaurs. It started when he was a little tike, and it had yet to go away. Shinjiro was trained to manage his condition. Japan was never the most tolerant place for those with disabilities. Even though there were many improvements, there was still discrimination.
"So, you'll be staying at school for the club, right?" Rena asked.
"Yeah," Shinjiro nodded, eating his eggs.
"That's good," Rena smiled. "At least you have yourself a place to belong. I'm sure your dad would be happy to see how much you've grown."
"Uh-huh," Shinjiro nodded, his hair antenna seemingly dropping at the mention of his dad. "...Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, isn't it?"
"Oh...yeah," Rena sighed, remembering that they were in the second week of February. She gave a wide grin, almost forcing herself. "It's no problem! Mama will buy a tasty birthday cake for Papa! We'll celebrate with the rest of the family, too!"
"Yeah," Shinjiro nodded, smiling slightly.
"Oh, and after school, could you go and visit your Jii-jii in the hospital?"
"OK, Kaa-chan."
There used to be a school in Hinamizawa with only one classroom that catered to all grade levels. But that was a long time ago. It had been turned into a daycare center. After that, the children of Hinamizawa attended school in Okinomiya. Shinjiro himself attended the local high school there. He didn't have many friends, and that suited him just fine. The few friends he had were from the families that his parents had befriended in the village. They were pretty much another family that he could be with at school.
School went by quickly, despite the cold winter air. Valentine's Day was on the very next day, and many girls had gone looking for chocolates to give out, both honmei-choco and giri-choco. This left the boys to their own devices, wondering who was gonna get what from whom.
Shinjiro sat in a near-empty classroom, a deck of Yu-Gi-Yo cards in hand. On the other end of the table sat another youth his age, also with Yu-Gi-Yo cards in hand. He was a young man with black hair styled in a pompadour and green eyes. He had a red turtleneck sweater, a black school uniform jacket, and black Bonton pants. In short, the guy looked like a stereotypical delinquent.
"Alright! It's my turn! Draw!" Shinjiro's opponent drew a card. "First up, I'm gonna use this card! Go, Thunderbolt! This destroys all your monsters!"
Shinjiro frowned as he reluctantly collected all his monster cards, and dumped them into the Graveyard Zone.
"And since you've got nothing defending your Life Points, I attack you directly!"
"Hnn..." Shinjiro grumbled in disappointment as his Life Points reached zero.
"What's with the long face, Jiro?" Inaho Sonozaki laughed as he shuffled his deck. "You should know by now that no one can beat the Gaming Club president in Yu-Gi-Yo, no one!"
"I really thought I had you," Shinjiro muttered, collecting his cards. They were all dinosaur monsters.
"You've got good cards, but the game's always growing. You gotta update your deck, improve your strategies," Inaho advised.
"Not all of us are related to the Game Shop owner," Shinjiro retorted. "And you know I only play with dinosaur cards."
"Why don't you use dragons, too?" Inaho suggested. "They're like dinosaurs, kind of."
"There's a big difference!" Shinjiro shouted, becoming defensive. "Anyone who says there's no difference between dragons and dinosaurs is wrong!"
"OK, OK, sorry," Inaho apologised. "But just so you know, since you lost, you gotta do the penalty. That's the rules. I'm sorry, buddy."
Shinjiro shuffled his deck.
"So, tomorrow's Valentine's Day. You excited?" Inaho asked.
"Hm? Oh, yeah. Sure."
"I bet you can't wait to get some chocolate, huh? And maybe a girlfriend out of it this time. Remember last year. You got quite the haul."
"Yeah, they were nice."
Inaho sighed. He knew Shinjiro never got excited about Valentine's Day. Not anymore, at least. He used to before, but that changed ten years ago.
Because Valentine's Day was Shinjiro's dad's birthday. And each year, Shinjiro and Rena would visit his grave, leaving chocolates.
"You know, Jiro. You're not bad looking. You're a little weird with your dinosaur obsession, but some girls dig that. You're also friendly, cool, funny, and smart."
"Are you going somewhere with this?" Shinjiro interrupted.
"All I'm saying, there's a girl out there for you. Or girls, if what I heard about your dad is true."
"I... I dunno," Shinjiro sighed. "There are nice girls in our school, but none of them seem to be my type."
"Do you even know what your type is?"
"A tall girl with big boobs," he said bluntly.
Inaho blinked. And then broke out in stiff laughter. "Good grief, man! Just because your mom doesn't like lying doesn't mean you have to be blunt all the time!" he cackled. He let out a sigh to calm himself, "But I hear ya. A man wants what a man wants. There's no shame in that. Tamaki might be pretty pleased with that, though." He reached into his back and pulled out a magazine. "As for me, I wouldn't mind having a night on the town with Yuuko Himejima."
"Who is that again?" Shinjiro blinked, "I think I heard of her..."
"Only one of the hottest bombshell teen models to hit mainstream since 2003," Inaho grinned, flashing the magazine to Shinjiro. On the page was a beautiful woman in her late teens posing daintily in a castle backdrop. Long black hair going down her back that looked as smooth as silk with a shine that glimmered in the lights, parted bangs that framed her head, and strands of hair on both sides of her head that looked like unopened curtains, and golden hair ornaments above her ears that looked old enough to appear to have been passed down from mother to daughter.
Her skin was flawless and luminous, like rich porcelain against the vibrant colors surrounding her. Her lips were full and glossy pink, parted slightly as if inviting one closer. Her eyes were piercing purple orbs that gave her the appeal of a loving, playful older sister. Or an upperclassman teasing her kohai. High cheekbones dusted with a faint blush. Eyelids colored with dark eyeshadow. She was the face of perfection.
Her figure wasn't anything to scoff at, either. Even in the picture, it was easy to tell that she was rather tall. Just somewhat above the average height for women. She was slim as well, as expected for a supermodel. Busty too, perhaps C-Cup. And the outfit she was posing in was hauntingly erotic, the kind fit for a vampire princess. A floor-length black gown of silk velvet that clings to every curve of her figure. It plunged low into a daring cleavage accented by delicate lace trim, emphasized with her right arm pushing up against the bottom of her breasts, and the bodice cinched at her waist before flaring out into a long skirt that rippled around her legs. The dress was split high on both sides, revealing long, toned limbs clad in sheer black stockings held by intricate garter belts. Her feet were encased in pointed black stiletto heels. Perfect for stepping on subs.
A high-collared cape of black velvet with crimson lining drapes over her shoulders, adding to her air of mystery and power. A choker looking like polished ebony adorned her slender neck, a single crimson ruby pendant resting between the swell of her breasts. Long fingerless lace gloves reach halfway up her forearms - black lace against the pale perfection of her skin.
"Oh yeah, her. She is... titillating," Shinjiro said, his face slightly red before putting down the magazine. He had magazines of her in his room, too. "But she's not just a model; she comes from a rich family. How are you going to meet her in the first place?"
"I'll find a way," Inaho boasted, resting his hand on his chest. "Besides, my family's rich, too. And I'm the next head after Oba-san. That means I've got a higher chance to get with her than other guys do."
"If you say so," Shinjiro nodded.
"Look, man. What I'm saying is that you don't have to go asking out the first girl you see," Inaho continued, his expression turning earnest, "Everyone gotta find a chance to find someone. Just find a girl, go on dates, and have fun. And if you break up, you've at least experienced what that's like."
"You talk like you have a lot of experience, Inaho," Shinjiro pointed out.
"Oh, sure. Tons of them," Inaho bragged.
"So, why haven't you introduced any of your girlfriends to us?"
"Uh..."
"Ten minutes till closing time, people!" the teacher announced, "Everyone, wrap up what you're doing if you wanna head home quick!"
"Oh, look at that! We're running out of time!" Inaho said, quickly collecting his cards and stuffing his magazine into his bag, "Let's continue this conversation never!"
"H-hey!" Shinjiro protested. Inaho was already out the door before he could say anything else.
After club hours came to an end, Shinjiro made his way to the shoe locker to gather his footwear. After getting his sneakers, his mobile phone rang, and he picked up to answer it. Reading the caller ID, he was reluctant to answer, but did so anyway.
"Hello?"
"Jiro!" a voice answered on the other end of the line, the suspicious sound of gunfire echoing in the background. "How's my baby brother?"
Shinjiro arched an eyebrow. "Hiro, what's going on?"
"Oh, the usual! Got a gig, but it turned out to be a trap - EAT THIS, FUCKERS! MEGADEATH!" There was a huge explosion, followed by pained screams. Shinjiro quickly held his phone away from the sudden loud noise before putting it back to his ear. "So, tomorrow's the old man's birthday, right?"
"Yes, are you coming with your mom?" Shinjiro asked.
"Yeah, I wouldn't miss it," Hiro replied. The sound of crackling lightning sounded on the phone. "Oh, shit! Gotta go!" The connection clicked, letting Shinjiro know that it was cut off.
Shinjiro let out a sigh as he slipped his phone into his pocket. He was the second oldest of seven kids, almost all coming from different mothers. Most people would frown at that and would see the father as a deadbeat who slept around. Their father was far from a deadbeat, and all of them loved him.
Hiro, the eldest, worked as an occult detective and weaponsmith in America. He operated in Danvers, Massachusetts, the town that was once known as Salem Village. According to Hiro, while it was true that the Witch Trials were the result of paranoia and opportunism that caused the deaths of many innocent people, supernatural forces were indeed involved. Just not the way the Puritans thought it was happening. The area had one of the strongest supernatural ties in the world, so he was kept very busy. Last he heard, he had a few lovers who were also tied to the occult.
Then there was the third oldest, Layna, who was the Crown Princess of the Kingdom of Genovia. She was also the tallest out of all of them, getting a massive growth spurt at the age of 13. She was extremely beautiful, as one would expect a princess to look. She, of course, got many admirers, but none struck her fancy. But she did show an interest in one boy, one who was younger than her by a year or two. As a young woman of her stature, she attended a women-only private school. On the other hand, one could say that her casual interests were not very ladylike.
Crow was Layna's younger twin brother and the middle child of the siblings. He was much more rugged than princes usually were. He was good at hiding it when he needed to, though, and like his twin sister, he got a lot of attention from the opposite sex. After watching wuxia movies when he was younger, he was inspired to learn the ways of Chinese swordsmanship. He traveled across China, learning from many sword masters who lived there. During his travels, one of his masters gifted him with a mysterious scroll called the Sorcerous Sword Index and gave him the mission of sealing away every sword that was inside the scroll. Crow claimed that the journey took him not only across the globe, but also into a few alternate worlds, all while being chased by a cult that wanted to use the scroll for their own ends. Like Hiro, he also ended up with several lovers, all but one having royal backgrounds no less.
Next was the third youngest, Kaguya. Just like Shinjiro, she had a habit of being spacey. She was easy-going, but not too good at expressing her emotions. But she was honest, if a bit blunt, which made arguing with her almost impossible. A few years ago, she found a tiny baby moose. It didn't look like a moose; it was round with purple fur, soft and squishy, with derpish eyes, like a toy. A month after that, someone who called themselves a Space Sheriff came, claiming that the "toy" was a doomsday weapon, and they had come to claim it. Kaguya refused, naturally. He didn't know what happened afterwards, but they apparently struck a deal with Kaguya. She would keep the little moose, but she had to become one of their Space Sheriffs so that they could keep an eye on both it and her. She became one of their best sheriffs, all while she was still in her teens. Her adorable face and womanly body also made her very popular with the younger members of the corps, but she never seemed to notice.
Shinobu was the youngest sister, and the second youngest overall. She was a kleptomaniac, full stop. She always loved taking things, like it was a game to her. She enjoys trolling people when she thinks she can get away with it. But underneath her cheerful and playful demeanor, there was a sense of bitterness. Since she was the second youngest, she never got to meet her dad. The best she got was stories of his heroics and adventures. But one thing she always stressed on was how the world treated him like a monster even after the good he did. Oh, she was aware of all the things he did before he landed in Hinamizawa; they all were. But he tried redeeming himself. That was what Shinobu would always point out. But to most of the world, his past remained stained in bloodshed. To certain people, he was nothing but a killer. That's all he'll ever be. It soured Shinobu's attitude towards the idea of heroism. Why be a hero when people are so quick to condemn you? That's what she would say. She'd rather be a thief than a hero, and that's what she did. She said she was going to Europe the last time she saw her.
Last, but not least, was the youngest, Raheem. He didn't look related to them due to his mother being of African descent, but he was their brother. He didn't get to meet his father like Shinobu but wasn't emotional about it. He was always as cool as a cucumber. Even though he was mixed-race, he showed more appreciation for his Afro side. His heroes were more civil than fantastic. Muhammad Ali, Malcom X, Huey P. Newton, Rubin "Hurricane" Carter... in other words, heroes for black people. Currently, he was in New York and was learning ninjitsu from a clan called Wu Tang. Strange name.
It wasn't like they didn't see eye-to-eye; they were close. It was simply that they had different paths in life that kept them from being around each other often. Their cousin Lulu often liked to compare them to wolves; going off on their own, but when together, they're like a pack. And maybe that was true. Only once every so often did they ever come together. They'd talk, hang out, eat food, then go back to what they were doing before.
And tomorrow was another reunion for them.
Shinjiro slipped on his sneakers and headed out the door. Tomorrow was another day, after all.
Right, Kaa-chan told him to visit Jii-jii before heading home. Okay, might as well pick up some flowers on the way. He needed them for his Tou-chan's grave anyway. And since they were on sale, he might as well get some extras. Getting what he needed, he went to the Shishibone hospital. The sun was already starting to set in the distance, the orange glow fading in the sky.
"Oi, oi, coming to a dreary place like this?" Retsu reprimanded his grandson from his bed. His age was showing, as well as his illness. His face was wrinkled, and there wasn't any hair on him. "And on Valentine's Eve of all days? And quit it with the flowers! Save it for a girl!"
"The flowers are for the girls. The nurses, that is," Shinjiro clarified, unpackaging the flowers. "You know that, Jii-jii."
"All the more reason not to," Retsu insisted. "Anyway, what about your school club? Why aren't you there?"
"The club meeting ended hours ago," Shinjiro informed, still fiddling with the flowers. "If I didn't have extra time, I wouldn't have had the chance."
"Mmm, good," Retsu nodded in satisfaction, closing his eyes like a sage. "Now then, since I have some extra time as well, I have something very important to tell you."
"Not interested," Shinjiro declined, taking a vase.
"Listen anyway," Retsu insisted again. "I have some things I wish to say before I go. It's about your dad."
"I've already heard every story about my Tou-chan there is," Shinjiro said boredly, filling the vase with water. "He was kidnapped when he was six, forced to do a lot of bad things, got away, met Kaa-chan and her friends, became a hero, and then died. Are you trying to act cool now, too, Jii-jii?"
"Every man has a right to go out in style," Retsu justified, opening his eyes lazily as he watched Shinjiro carry the vase to the windowsill. "It's been that way since the beginning of time. Get a clue, boy!"
"It's fine, Jii-jii," Shinjiro sighed, putting the flowers into the vase. "You don't need to put on a show."
Retsu stared at Shinjiro in slight annoyance.
"You had it easy, didn't you?" he sighed as he turned over his side. "Shinjiro."
Shinjiro looked over his shoulder. "Yeah, Jii-jii?"
"You're a bright kid, so please listen to this old man's last request: stay pure, and keep moving forward. Your dad was a good man plagued by his inner demons and shadows that refused to leave him alone, and in the end, he decided to give his life because he felt it was his only means of atonement. I know he would want more than anything to watch you grow up and see you as you are now, after all the progress you've made. But since that isn't possible, live your life the way you see fit. Don't allow anyone to take it from you and force you to do what you know is wrong. Have courage...and be kind..."
The room became eerily silent.
"...Jii-jii?"
Retsu's body was still.
One of the nurses in the waiting room went to the ringing phone and picked it up.
"Yes, how may I help you?" she asked. There was no answer. Only the sound of a small whimper. "Hello? Banabara-san, are you there?"
Shinjiro's eyes burned as his vision became blurry, tears slowly trickling down his face. He was gritting his teeth hard as he forced himself not to utter a sob, but it was very hard to do now.
"Banabara-san? Is there a problem?" the nurse called from the phone gripped in his hand.
Shinjiro sniffed lightly, slowly bringing the phone back to his face.
"My Jii-jii...is dead."
"We'll be right there. Please, wait."
Shinjiro ended the call, sitting at his grandfather's bedside. Looking at him, he felt a storm of different emotions: sorrow, grief...and relief. He was relieved that his grandfather was no longer suffering or in pain.
"I... I gotta call Kaa-chan," he realised. She needed to know.
Rena was at home, working on her latest art piece when she heard her phone ring. She went to answer it.
"Hello?"
"K...Kaa-chan?" Shinjiro's voice cracked.
"Jiro, what's wrong?" she asked, worried.
"It's Jii-jii... he's... he's..."
Rena's eyes went wide, tears brimming from them when she got the news.
"Wait right there. I'm on my way."
Rena drove straight to the hospital to find her son waiting outside his grandfather's hospital room. But before he could say anything, she rushed to her son and hugged him.
"He's...he's gone..." he sobbed.
"I know, I know," she understood, speaking softly.
"Why... why does everyone we love die...? First Tou-chan, then Jii-jii..."
"That's just life."
"I hate it."
"Me too, Jiro. Me too. Look, I'm going to need to sign some papers. Could you wait here until I'm done?"
"Yeah..." Shinjiro wiped his tears. "I think I can."
"Here." Rena took out a book from her purse. It was a small encyclopedia of dinosaurs. "You can read this while you wait."
"Thanks, Kaa-chan."
Rena and Shinjiro somberly left the hospital together. Rena had made arrangements to have her father's body prepared for the funeral. There was a lot of paperwork, but she was glad it was over with.
Rena looked at her son, who walked beside her, head hung low. He needed cheering up.
"Jiro, how about we both make chocolates together tonight?" Rena suggested.
Shinjiro perked up,"Chocolates?"
"Yeah, we can leave them for your father. Won't that be nice?"
Slowly, a smile appeared on his lips, "Yes...that would be nice."
Rena was glad that her son was smiling again. It hurt that her father was gone, but she did not want them to wallow in their sadness.
"Then we'll go and pick up some ingredients."
As Rena went to unlock the car, a can rolled down at her feet. She blinked, looking down.
All of a sudden, the can exploded with a burst of thick gas, causing the mother and son to cough.
"Kaa-chan!? What's going on!?" Shinjiro shouted, panicking. Then all of a sudden, he felt someone cover his mouth and drag him away.
"Jiro!?" Rena shouted as she felt her consciousness slipping. "Jiro, where are you!? Jiro..."
She passed out right in the parking lot, and her son was nowhere to be seen.
Present day...
That was the last thing Shinjiro remembered before everything went black, and now he was here, stripped down to his boxers and trapped in a tube of green jelly-like fluid. Outside of the tube, the scientists noticed him stirring and trying to break out from the chains. None of them seemed to pay any heed.
"The subject has awoken," one of the scientists said. "Should we sedate him?"
"No, unnecessary," said another, a female. "Now would be a good opportunity to see this specimen up close for myself." The woman walked up to Shinjiro, stepping closer into view. Despite his vision being obscured by the gel, he can still make out her appearance. She was an adult woman, with short black hair that was tied in a bun. She was dressed in a white suit with matching white heels, her eyes dark brown, almost looking black, and an arm badge that had the symbol of a certain eagle holding the globe by its talons.
"Guten Tag," the woman greeted with a cool smile, her voice coming through the speakers that connected to the tube, "I'm sure things have been quite stressful for you. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Amanda Tawanovitch. What a strange twist of fate to have the son of a Kamen Rider in our grasp. Or perhaps destiny has a very twisted sense of humor, considering my father was one of the executives of SHOCKER." His eyes slowly widened. "Ah, I see you've already heard of it. Good. That saves us quite some time." She walked over to the computer and looked at the screen that displayed strains of DNA. "I'm afraid you are no longer human, boy. Over the week, we have spliced your DNA with the Tyrannosaurus Rex. They are considered to be one of the greatest creatures of the ancient world, unstoppable, fierce, fearless and in short, the perfect destroyers. As of this moment, you belong to us."
"Dr. Tawanovitch. The bio conversion process is 95% complete," one of the scientists reported. "All that is needed now is to begin the re-education procedures."
Shinjiro's eyes widened. Re-education...as in brainwashing?
"Good," Amanda nodded. "Then proceed-"
The computers suddenly blew up, causing her to shriek in shock. Several other machines began to explode as the scientists began to panic, trying to avoid getting caught in the blasts. The alarms blared as the lights flashed red.
"What was that!?" Amanda demanded, going to a radio and calling through. "Are we under attack? Status report!"
"One of the generators has blown up!" a voice on the other end reported. "Sabotage!"
Amanda turned to her men. "Find the one responsible, quickly! Two of you stay and watch the boy!" She led her men out of the lab as two of the scientists remained to watch Shinjiro.
There was a calm for a while, despite the still blaring alarm and lights, before the door opened again. This time, it was a male scientist who was different from the others: blonde hair, blue eyes, and Caucasian skin. He was dressed in a white coat, jeans, and loafer shoes. In his right hand was a briefcase.
"Amanda has sent me to relieve you both. You are both needed in the west wing." The scientists both nodded and quickly left the room.
He looked at the tube and went towards the control module. He hit several quick keys, the fluid draining out and the glass tank sliding open.
Realizing that he wasn't stuck in gel anymore, Shinjiro instinctively began to struggle against his bonds. Slowly, he felt his strength returning, and then it began to rise. As he struggled, the chains slowly stretched and eventually snapped, the one holding his left arm shattering, and then the right chain shattered next. With both his arms free, Shinjiro fell to the floor and, on his palms, pulled the mask off his face.
The scientist removed his coat and draped it over him. He flinched at the contact, looking at the man warily.
"It's alright. I'm here to help you," the scientist spoke calmly, soothingly. "My name is Dr. Steven Crichton. What's your name, lad?"
"It's... Shinjiro," he said softly. "Take me home..."
"I will," Dr. Crichton promised. "Can you walk?"
Shinjiro stood up. He took a step forward.
"Alright, good. Come with me. I know a shortcut."
Dr. Crichton escorted Shinjiro out of the lab. They needed to be careful and not get caught by the guards.
"Why are you helping me?" Shinjiro asked. "Won't you get in trouble?"
"I have a daughter," the doctor said, keeping his eyes forward, "It had been a long time since I last saw her. I don't think I could ever face her if I didn't do anything. I'm not sure if I can face her, even now."
Shinjiro said nothing. He did not fully trust Dr. Crichton, but the scientist was still risking his life to save him.
"The vehicle bay is nearby. We'll take a Humvee, and I'll take you home."
Shinjiro followed, making sure to stay behind Dr. Crichton. Finally, they reached the vehicle bay. Scores of Humvees were lined up, each one looking heavily armored, and a few with mounted machine guns. Each one had an insignia on the doors: a green fan shape.
As Dr. Crichton secured them a vehicle, Shinjiro's jaw dropped as he saw the view outside.
"Dinosaurs..."
There were dinosaurs right outside the window. Live dinosaurs that he could identify and name by heart right outside a large valley underneath a dark green sky and a large celestial body that seemed to look like a giant moon that covered most of the sky. Or was it even a moon? It didn't give off light like the moon though. In fact, it was completely dark. The only light it had, it came from the rim of the circle. And even then, it was dim.
"Confused? I'm not surprised," Dr. Crichton said humorously, looking over his shoulder. "You and I are far from home, I'm afraid."
"What...What is this place? Where are we?"
"I hear this place goes by many names, but it's mostly called Lost Earth," the doctor explained, still working. "I don't fully understand it myself, but it's some sort of interdimensional sewer. All manner of life from every corner of time and space ends up here for one reason or another. Or that's what I was told, at least."
"The Lost Earth...wow," Shinjiro whispered, his voice filled with wonder.
"You can admire it later. Right now, we need-" Crichton stopped himself, noticing a guard in a black and white bodysuit and a helmet that covered the top half of his face making their rounds in the bay. His heart sank as soon as the guard turned, noticing them quickly, "Shit."
"Stop!" a guard shouted, pointing his gun.
Dr. Crichton grabbed Shinjiro's hand.
"We need to go, lad!"
They ran to a Humvee and hopped on. As the doctor turned the engine on and drove out the the bay, the guard ran to the wall and punched a glass containing a red button. Loud alarm sirens blared all over the facility as the Humvee rode into the deep jungle.
Dr. Crichton drove the Humvee as Shinjiro buckled himself in, hanging on for dear life. He still could not help but admire the Lost World. It was a world straight out of one of his dinosaur picture books.
Another Humvee drove up next to them, pointing a mounted machine gun at the driver's side. It fired a spray of bullets, breaking through the windows and forcing both of them to duck.
"Damn!" Dr. Crichton yelled. He gripped the wheel and rammed it against the other Humvee, the impact causing a harsh buckle as it swerved uncontrollably for a moment before it continued chasing after them. Another Humvee quickly followed after them, shooting another spray of bullets.
"Pull over and give yourselves up! You can't get away!" one of the guards shouted.
"Eat shit!" Dr. Crichton shouted back as he gunned the engine. The guards fired again, and Shinjiro tucked his head, covering his ears.
"Please, make it stop! Make the noises stop!" Shinjiro pleaded, frightened.
"I'm not going to let them get you, lad! That's a Crichton guarantee!"
Dr. Crichton continued to speed away as the guard fired at them, the large jungle trees blurring past them. The Humvees made a huge jump over a cliff, rumbling from the landing, and even crossed through a river. Over the distance, an open plain began to appear.
"We're almost there, lad!" Dr. Crichton shouted.
Shinjiro did not answer. Still keeping his head tucked in, still covering his ears.
The guards were gaining on them. But then, all of a sudden, there was a loud roar. A towering Carnotaurus lunged into the path of the pursuing Humvees. The first Humvee swerved, smashing into a tree, but the second was not fast enough. The Carnotaurus seized the vehicle in its massive jaws and shook it violently like a dog with a chew toy. Metal crumpled under the force of its jaws as the guards were hurled aside. Dropping the mangled vehicle. The Carnotaurus roared at the guards, who scrambled for their weapons.
Gunshots rang out as they fired their guns. But Dr. Crichton didn't stop to slow down. He was just glad that Carnotaurus appeared when it did.
"They're getting away! They're gonna use a Vortex!" one of the guards yelled, seeing the Humvee drive away over his shoulder. "Call HQ to sic a Raptor in their location!"
"Don't those hunt in packs?!" another yelled, shooting at the roaring Carnotaurus.
"Who cares! One is enough!" the guard shouted, firing his gun at the dinosaur, "Just do it!"
The jungle opened up ahead, revealing a clearing where a low mist curled across the ground. Dr. Crichton fumbled around in his pocket, pulling out what looked like a strange crystalline egg. He then threw the egg with all his might, sending it sailing in front of them.
The egg struck the ground, but instead of shattering into a mess of shell and egg yolk, a swirling white vortex burst open in front of their jeep, fog and lightning erupting out of it.
"Hold on tight, lad!" Dr. Crichton barked.
Without hesitation, he gunned the engine and drove straight into the portal.
Shinjiro saw only white as they entered the portal. But then they sped right out from the other side. Dr. Crichton hit the brakes, and the jeep swerved before coming to a stop. The portal closed soon after.
Shinjiro finally managed to catch his breath, taking in their surroundings. The sky was still dark, but in an orange sunset instead of the green sky with three moons. Their jeep had stopped right outside the wall of a large school. Next to the gate was a sign with the school's name: St. Lucia Academy.
This was Earth, normal Earth, not the Lost Earth.
"Crichton-san, we did it! We got away!" Shinjiro cheered. When he received no response, he saw Dr. Crichton slumped against the wheel, a growing red stain on his back. "Crichton-san!"
Dr. Crichton groaned, and he slowly pushed himself up against the seat.
"We made it..." he smiled.
"Don't move! I'll go find help! Bandages! We need bandages!" Shinjiro yelled in panic.
"It's too late for me, lad..." Dr. Crichton grunted, coughing blood.
"Please, you can't die. You saved me."
"And I don't regret it one bit. But those people won't stop hunting you. You'll need to defend yourself."
"How...?"
"My briefcase. It's...in the back."
Shinjiro fetched the briefcase, which had a circular emblem with a T-Rex on it. He traced his finger on the emblem before flipping it open. Inside the briefcase was something that resembled a buckle with a skull of a Tyrannosaurus and small bones that appeared to be a belt. Next to the strange belt buckle were three amber fossils in the shape of coins that seemed large enough to fit in a fist. Each one looked different from the amber stones Shinjiro saw in books and online. The first one was red and had the image of a Tyrannosaurus skull. The second was blue with the skull of a Triceratops. And the third was yellow with the skull of a Pterodactyl.
"The Fossirizer and Fossil Cores... Those people are trying to...create a new breed of super soldiers based on the genuine articles," Dr. Crichton continued, trying to fight through the pain as much as he could. "I managed...to steal them... since your DNA is augmented, it should work for you. Everything you will need...is in that briefcase... I trust you know what to do..."
Shinjiro could only nod his head shakily.
"You'll have to use it to defend the defenseless now..." Dr. Crichton continued, pulling out his wallet. "If you find my wife and daughter...tell them I..." the wallet suddenly dropped from his fingers. His arm fell down, going limp. He closed his eyes.
"Crichton-san...?"
Shinjiro picked up the wallet. Inside, he found Dr. Crichton's ID, which had his home address on it. He found credit cards, some money, and a folded photograph. He unfolded the photo to see a picture of Dr. Crichton and his daughter, the two of them smiling at the camera. A bright flash of light glowed further away, prompting Shinjiro to look up. It was another white vortex, just like the one they had driven through.
And what stepped out of the portal was a sight most curious, as it was ominous. A single, reptilian foot stepped out, a foot with a single talon standing up, and it looked like it could slice through anything soft - like human flesh. Then the rest of the body that was attached to the foot slowly walked out of the portal. The creature looked like, for all intents and purposes, a Velociraptor. But with a few key differences: this raptor looked smaller than others, and yet nowhere near the size of a Megaraptor. If anything, it was the height of an adult human. It stood like a human, too.
It had dark teal feathers all over, with the exception of the dirty beige-colored torso and abdomen and black-colored hands, wrists, ankles, and feet. Upon close examination, both the forearms and lower legs seem to be covered by another layer of dark teal wing-like feathering, acting like protectors. Each finger had sharp gray claws. On its feet, it had long gray claws. On the back, a long fan-shaped tail sticks out. The head was a humanoid Velociraptor's, menacing wide mouth with jagged fangs, slit pupil yellow eyes, the scale design on the forehead was asymmetrical - with the lining going zigzagging to the right. Finally, pieces of amber stuck out, one on the left shoulder, a smaller one on the left pectoral closer to the collarbone, and one on the right middle of its six-pack abs.

Velociraptor mongoliensis
This genus of small dromaeosaurid dinosaurs lived in Asia during the Late Cretaceous period, about 75–71 million years ago. They were small dinosaurs, being 1.5–2.07 meters long and weighing up to 31–43 pounds. Their small height and light bone structure likely made them fast and agile enough to catch up with larger prey, and they also possessed sickle claws on their feet to restrain and slice open their food. Fittingly, their name translates to "swift robber". It is believed that the Velociraptor hunted in packs, with one part of the group chasing down and distracting the prey while the other group struck from the prey's blind spot. They belonged to a group of dinosaurs known as the dromaeosaurids or feathered dinosaurs. Many believe that the Velociraptors eventually evolved into birds.
He quickly hid in the jeep, slowly peeking his head out as the Dinosaur Kaijin snarled as it looked around. It sniffed the air, its nostrils opening slightly with each inhale. Its head slowly turned to the school beyond the gates. With a harsh squawk, the Raptor Kaijin broke into a run, jumping high over the gate, and continuing the run towards the school.
Shinjiro quickly scampered out of the jeep, watching in wide, horrified eyes as he realized what it was doing. It was hunting. A school filled with students, who were blissfully unaware of a predator that was targeting their school as a hunting ground. He looked at the briefcase, then at the school. Something had to be done. Dr. Crichton said the Fossirizer should be able to work for him.
Grabbing the device, he placed it on his abdomen. Instantly, a belt wrapped around his waist, securing it. Then he took the red coin and slipped it into the jaws of the belt. The coin landed into the eye socket section and glowed in deep red as the belt spoke in a deep, growling voice.
[TYRANNOSAURUS!]
A deep, throbbing sound that seemed to mirror the notes of a bass guitar rang from the belt. The pulsing sound the Driver made seemed to make his skin tingle, but the feeling was strangely pleasant. He didn't have time to savor it, knowing what was going to happen if he waited too long. He clenched his fists and bumped it on the jaws, making a loud chomping sound.
"Henshin," Shinjiro muttered.
[RAMPAGE!]
Crimson energy shards materialized around Shinjiro, enveloping him and shaping into a large egg. Inside the egg, liquid energy flooded the egg, causing a strange aura to form around it. Then the aura took shape, forming into some kind of suit. Then the liquid energy evaporated into steam, heating up the egg within. Outside of the egg, the image of a Tyrannosaurus appeared, giving a mighty roar. Then, a right leg cracked out of the egg, and then a left leg. Steam vented out of the cracks. Then the whole egg started to crack apart, before finally it hatched, a heated shockwave erupting from the shattering, causing the Humvee to shake and rattle.
[STALKING THE JUNGLES! RULING FROM THE TREES! TYRANNO MAX! GAAAOO~!]
The shockwave soon came to a stop, forming a hot mist in the field. A silhouette slowly crouched down in the mist, large eyes glowing in deep yellow. In an instant, the figure bolted through the mist and jumped several stories over the gate to chase down the raptor kaijin.
St. Lucia Academy was a private all-girls boarding school just some distance away from Hinamizawa. Daughters of intelligence and wealth across Japan attend the school for higher education. Its reputation for its excellent graduation rate was extraordinary. Almost too extraordinary in fact. Rather, the school had a dark side that the staff would really like to keep hidden. They ensured that the students never uttered a word about it outside school grounds and would have anyone who squealed punished. It's because of this fear that many girls kept their heads down and acted like proper ladies as a means to avoid attention, while many took out their stress through bullying, harassing girls who were either flunking or were too meek to stand up for themselves.
Tonight, that was the least of their worries.
The sound of glass shattering was followed by high-pitched screams of terror. Numerous girls rushed through the halls, running in fear. One unfortunate girl ended up tripping, scrambling to her feet as she crawled on the wall, the Raptor Kaijin marching forward and leering hungrily.
"Mom... Dad..." she whimpered in fear, a noticeable dark spot forming underneath her.
All of a sudden, a red figure dropped from the window and tackled straight into the kaijin. They tumbled across the main hall, crashing through the school together. The kaijin tumbled across the hall and landed on its feet, hissing in annoyance over its meal getting disturbed. The second figure landed with a hard boom, steam hissing from their body, ducking low with their legs split apart, left hand planted on the ground, and right arm curled at their side in a primal stance. The girls all looked in awe at the figure in the hall, and quickly realized what it was.
"Kamen...Rider...?" one of them whispered.
The Kamen Rider was clad in a red bodysuit with a scaly texture and green tribal markings. He also had black armor plating on his shins, forearms, shoulders, and thighs. Over his torso, he wore black armor that mimicked pecs and abs with the face of a T-Rex on his back. His red helmet was also modeled after a T-Rex with a mouthplate that resembled a row of razor-sharp teeth and menacing yellow eyes with ridges over them. Sharp spikes adorned his limbs, with clawed fingertips. Around his backside, there was a small lizard-like tail.

Tyrannosaurus Rex
Considerably the most famous of all prehistoric predators, the Tyrannosaurus was one of the largest dinosaurs in existence. Their name means "tyrant lizard", and they lived throughout what is now western North America, on what was then an island continent known as Laramidia during the late Cretaceous period. They could grow up to 12 meters long and weigh up to 9 tons. Their biting strength is estimated to be the largest among all terrestrial animals, with no prey able to break their grasp. Their intimidating appearance, even as skeletons, as well as their renowned reputation, has given these creatures the nickname "the King of Dinosaurs".
The mood of the Academy grounds quickly shifted after he appeared. All around him, the girl's expressions went from horror and fear to shock and awe. First, there was hushed silence, and then mummerings and whispers.
"Kamen Rider?"
"Is that what she said?"
"A real Kamen Rider? Here?"
"I don't believe that! There hasn't been a Kamen Rider sighting in years!"
"Holy shit!"
"Watch your language!"
"Watch my language?! Holy fuckin' shit!"
The Raptor Kaijin roared as it charged at Shinjiro, and he kicked up his feet to rush at the monster. He slammed his foot on the kaijin's chest, sending it sprawling back, and continued the rush with a combination of punches and slashes from the blades on his forearms. The Dino Kaijin quickly retaliated, grabbing Shinjiro's arm in a biting grab with its sharp teeth. It lifted Shinjiro into the air and swung him around, throwing him onto the floor. The Kamen Rider rolled onto the floor and skidded to a stop, just as the kaijin rushed at him again.
Shinjiro got back on his feet. Digging his heels in, he caught the kaijin around the waist. It scratched and clawed at his back, ripping sparks off, but Shinjiro gritted his teeth. Then, with incredible strength, he picked the kaijin up and bent backwards, slamming the creature's skull onto the floor. The floor broke from the impact, and cracks spiderwebbed from the impact point. Shinjiro released the Raptor Kaijin and grabbed it by the tail. He tugged hard and smashed the Dino Kaijin against the floor, swinging it back and forth over his head.
Meanwhile, students were recording on their phones, seemingly ignoring the danger as they hastily followed the battle. After all, this was the first fight between a monster and a Kamen Rider that had been seen in a decade. That and the fact that the students were so miserable in this academy, they wanted entertainment to escape to at the first chance they got.
The kaijin grappled against Shinjiro, breaking through the school's extravagant hallways as a few of the staff members quickly scattered out of the way. The Dino Kaijin landed a hard sidekick at Shinjiro's stomach. Shinjiro gave a pained grunt as he stumbled against the wall. He quickly ducked out of the way just as it slashed its claws at him, leaving claw marks on the wall. It jumped into the air, landing quick bicycle kicks at his face. Shinjiro held up his forearms, blocking the kicks to his face. It flipped through the air and ducked low, throwing a sweeping kick directly at his abdomen. And the sickle claw on its foot cut cleanly through his stomach.
"Argh!" Shinjiro screamed, staggering back from the slash and dropping to one knee. He held his stomach, looking down as he saw blood staining his gloved hand. The momentary distraction got the Raptor Kaijin to throw another slashing kick at his chest, causing blood to fly out from the impact. Shinjiro tumbled over the ground, trying to get to his feet. Strangely, he felt the pain slowly subsiding. Looking down, he saw steam seeping out of his wounds, slowly closing them. "So, that happened..."
He looked back up at the Raptor Kaijin, standing up as his fingers twitched and wiggled. A red aura faded around his right hand before it lit up completely. Clenching his glowing fist, he charged forward and threw a punch straight into the Dino Kaijin's chest. A burst of red, heated energy exploded from the punch, knocking the monster through a door that led to a flight of stairs. The monster tumbled across the stairs before grabbing onto the railings to stop itself. Shinjiro jumped through the doorway and threw a flying punch into the monster's face, causing it to flip over on the railing and onto the lower flight. Shinjiro jumped over the railing, holding up his fist in his descent. He threw his fist down upon landing, but the kaijin grabbed it in its clawed hand.
It kicked Shinjiro off, knocking him into a wall, and left cracks on the impact. It lunged at him with a snarl, and Shinjiro rolled onto the lower stairs to dodge. The Raptor Kaijin landed on all fours against the wall and kicked off, jumping at him. Shinjiro grabbed the monster midair and threw it further down the steps. His other fist ignited in the same red aura as the first, and he jumped down to throw cross punches as red energy trailed with each swing. Each blow exploded in red shockwaves, forcing the Raptor Kaijin to guard itself until it broke through the punches with a shoulder check. Once Shinjiro was stunned for a moment, its mouth opened as light appeared in its throat. Fireballs blasted out, exploding against Shinjiro as he staggered with each hit, sparks flying from every blast.
Burn marks had already begun to heal up on Shinjiro's suit, and his hands flared up into red balls of energy. The Raptor Kaijin spat more fireballs as Shinjiro threw energy blasts. The volleys collided, red explosions lighting up between them. Breaking into a run, Shinjiro burst through the smoke cloud and dropped into a roll, grabbing the Dino Kaijin by the leg and throwing it down into the bottom stairs. Shinjiro got on all fours and lunged down after the beast.
Metal doors snapped off their hinges from the force. Shinjiro and the Raptor Kaijin slid down the stairs on top of the door before they crashed together in the basement. Shinjiro groaned, but then he saw where they were. Lining the cramped hallway were doors that had steel bars over the small windows. Almost like cell doors.
"Huh...?" was all he could mutter before the Raptor Kaijin blindsided him into a wall.
Grunting, he focused on his opponent and delivered a kick, driving his foot into the Raptor Kaijin's gut. As the wind was knocked out of its lungs, Shinjiro grabbed its head and bashed its skull into a cell door, breaking it off the hinges. The Raptor Kaijin went reeling, and Shinjiro used this chance to bury his fist into its stomach. He then delivered a left hook to its jaw, knocking several of its teeth out. Roaring, it slashed Shinjiro across the chest, but he retaliated with a slash from his own arm blades, blinding its left eye. He then delivered a kick to its left kneecap, and then drove a knee into its jaw. The Raptor Kaijin scrambled across the floor, its left eye slowly healing, and grabbed another door to rip off its hinges, throwing it at Shinjiro. He quickly turned around as his tail suddenly grew and stretched, swinging once to smash the door to tiny metal bits, and then again to smack against the monster.
The Dino Kaijin crashed into the wall and quickly got back up, opening its mouth as another glow shone. Rapid fireballs spat out, forcing Shinjiro to move back and forth. But the hallway was too tight to move around, and Shinjiro got hit several times. The fireballs peppered his chest, sending him falling onto his back. Growling, Shinjiro slammed his hands on the floor, bouncing himself up into the air and back on his feet. He roared as he charged forward, jumping to a wall as more fireballs blasted his way. He kicked back and forth between the walls before slamming his knee right onto the kaijin's face. Shinjiro landed into a crouch as the Raptor Kaijin was still in the air, and leaped up after it, grabbing it by the throat, and crashed into the ceiling above, leaving a deep hole behind.
A large hole exploded out into the school's courtyard, with both Shinjiro and the Raptor Kaijin leaping out and falling on the grass. Several girls, who were still in the area, continued to record everything on their phones. The Dino Kaijin was struggling to get back on its feet, and Shinjiro realized that it was literally on its last legs. It was time to wrap this up.
Looking down at his belt, he grabbed his buckle to press down on its jaws, releasing it. The eye socket glowed deep red as a primal roar echoed from it.
[DANGER: TYRANNOSAURUS!]
Red heated energy trailed down from his belt and to his legs, making them glow in a crimson shine. Shinjiro rushed towards the Raptor Kaijin, landing striking kicks against the monster, red bursts of energy with each hit. Then he jumped back into a somersault and landed into a stomp, the shockwave making the Dino Kaijin fly into the air. Shinjiro watched as he crouched his legs and jumped after it, flipping around to aim his legs before spreading them apart. The crimson glow formed into the image of a roaring Tyrannosaurus head, opening its jaws wide.
[METEOR EXTINCTION!]
The Tyrannosaurus' head chomped down on the Raptor Kaijin, the energy spreading all over the monster as it roared in agony. The head dispersed as soon as Shinjiro kicked it higher, and he landed it back down on the grass with legs stretched out and his palm on the dirt.
[GAAAOO~!]
An explosion of black and yellow filled the night air from the monster's destruction, painting a bright light over Shinjiro's armored body, like a firework.
For a moment, Shinjiro could not believe what he had done. So many years hearing stories of his father and his teammates, and now here he was, a Kamen Rider himself. It felt like a dream, but then reality set in as he recalled Dr. Crichton and his sacrifice. Looking around, he saw the students with their phones held up, filming and taking pictures.
He needed to get away. Bolting, he jumped over the wall and headed for the Humvee where Dr. Crichton's body lay. He gently moved the body to the passenger's side and took the driver's seat. Starting the engine, he drove away. He needed to take his body to the proper authorities.
Rena was at home, looking at a photo of her son. It was such a disastrous week. First her father died, and immediately after that her son got kidnapped. Thankfully, she had friends to help her out, and they comforted her through the tough times. The police were looking for him, but so far had not made any progress.
"Shin-kun..." she sobbed, thinking of her late husband. "Wish you were here. You would've found Jiro by now."
There was a knock at the door. Rena got up and answered, drying her tears.
"Who is it-?"
Her voice got caught in her throat.
Standing in front of her was her son. He was wearing a dirty lab coat over his boxers and holding a briefcase.
He looked exhausted.
"Jiro!" Rena yelled, hugging her son tight.
"I'm home...Kaa-chan..." he whispered as he hugged her back. Rena hugged him as tightly as she could, not wanting to let him out of her sight again. Then her eyes opened as she noticed something odd. She quickly released him and held him by the shoulders to give him the once-over, blinking perplexedly.
"Have you been working out?"
"We now turn our attention to sudden breaking news: a fight broke out in St. Lucia's Academy for Girls, but not between students. Instead, a kaijin resembling a Velociraptor and what appears to be a Kamen Rider. The fight was posted by students of the school, who recorded the fight on their phones and uploaded it to YouTube."
"Renowned American genetics researcher Dr. Steven Crichton was found dead near the Shishibone Police Headquarters, sending the science community reeling. Crichton, famous for his Primal Energy theory, which he published at the age of 25, mysteriously went missing in 1999 after his lab suffered an accident. Autopsy reports state that the cause of his death appears to be bullet wounds in vital areas. He leaves behind a wife and a daughter."
"Another shocking discovery at St. Lucia Academy in the wake of the mysterious attack. Prison cell-like rooms have been found underneath the school, conveniently recorded by the students tailing the fight. Comment sections have expressed disbelief and horror over what was found in a school that has produced many high-profile women. Members of the school facility have yet to comment, and an investigation has been launched."
"I don't think I can stress what I'm about to say to all of you: it might just be that we are about to experience a resurgence of Kamen Riders."
