(Raph x Leo)
Raph recently felt a bit…needy. He wasn’t sure why, he trained regularly, relaxed, ate well, even kept up his gaming and work life. Things were feeling great…but something felt a bit off. Him and Alopex had a healthy relationship, even made love in various ways, but something still felt off. He knew it was her, could never, but maybe he was forgetting something important. He began to back track through his usual routines, writing out everything he would do on certain days of the week, from his work schedule to his patrol schedules and requests. Perhaps it was something during his patrols, something he usually did. He still couldn’t place it, his schedule was planned down to the minute as a way to focus himself, but this one small thing was like a song in his brain he couldn’t remember. Leo saw him look confused, and peeked at his schedule.
“Is…this your routine? What are you mapping things out for?” Leo asked.
“Feels like there’s somethin’ I’m forgettin’. Or maybe somethin’ I ain’t do, but I can’t figure it out for the life’a me.” Raph said, still looking at his paper.
“Let’s try retracing your steps tonight. You and me are patrolling today so maybe this’ll help.” Leo said, grabbing her swords.
Raph thought that was a great idea, grabbing his sais. He would retrace his steps on his usual routes and see if he was actually forgetting something. The run went as usual, parkour on rooftops and showing off a bit for fun. He started breakdancing to “Side to Side” by Ariana Grande while Leo recorded, which was always fun to show everyone since he would also rap on camera too. Afterwards, the casual fight with the knuckleheads that thought crime pays, always a thrill when they have powers and try to get frisky with them, and was honestly just an excuse to show off a bit. After that, they went to the docks, just a way to relax after fighting and take a good view of the ships going in and out. Even at night, the city was buzzing with life, nothing was ever the same as it always was, and that was the beauty in the rampant chaos.
“You know, I like when it’s calm like this. When we’re not out here for hours a day fighting idiots.” Leo said.
“You gotta be kiddin’. This is what we live for sis. Beatin’ up baddies while livin’ the best we can.” Raph said, flexing his arm.
“I know. But the calm after the storm. That makes me happy too.” Leo said softly.
Raph started blushing a bit, seeing Leo’s resting happy face always made his heart race. The turtle who was always on his case about things he usually did on purpose, was sharing a very tender moment again. He then remembered what was missing, his intimacy with Leo. No trying to start arguments, no trying to rope her into anything just to see her move, just a calm night. Leo was always his brother for most of his young life, but he didn’t care if Leo was a boy, girl, or whatever, that was his fearless leader. His beautiful and blue leader. He took a deep breath, and gently put his arm around Leo’s neck. Then, before she could say anything, planted a gentle kiss on her lips. Their tongues wrestled, their hands explored, they felt sparks between them.
“Finally found what I was missin’.” Raph said.
“Oh. You just wanted your kissy?” Leo teased.
“Don’t ruin it dumbass.” Raph joked, hugging Leo.
Both of them giggled before getting up to head back home, and Raph made a mental note to definitely do this more often.
