I was doing my daily late night walk then I came across Nice in the park, i almost ran into him but he was fast and turned me around in an almost hug like one of those love interests in romance dramas. Also he wasn't wearing his uniform so i wouldn't have recognized him if i wasn't so close to him, HE WAS WEARING A HOODIE AND HE LOOKED SO GOOD IN IT!!!!

Lin Ling couldn’t do anything except stare blankly at the screen in front of him, his sleepy brain trying to process the words written on it.
He was woken up by someone banging on his apartment door way too early in the morning. When he opened the door, it turned out to be his employer, Ms.J and her team of thugs.
Ms. J immediately grabbed his hand and made him check his trust value, which should have been 2 but somehow his trust value had reached a 5-digit number and it was steadily increasing too.
Lin Ling tried to think about any heroic deed he might have done to increase his number but nothing came to mind.
‘Did I stop a robbery or something when I was sleepwalking?’ Lin Ling's train of thought was interrupted when Ms.J shoved her tablet right in his face and made him read a Fomo and the thread under it.
Lin Ling remembers the girl who took the photos; it was just last night when Nice came to pick him up from his work, stopping him from working past midnight again and walking with him to his apartment like some kind of overprotective boyfriend. Somewhere along the way a girl almost ran into Nice but he managed to save the day again with his usual grace.
The girl was clearly shocked so Lin Ling asked if she was okay and offered the drink that Nice had bought for him. The girl quickly recovered from her shock and asked if she could take a photo.
An innocent and harmless interaction, nothing he hadn’t encountered when he was out with Nice before but it somehow led to people believing he and Nice are bothers? Or even worse, twins??
“Ms.J, I swear I have nothing to do with this! I went to sleep as soon as i reached home, i swear. Please don’t kill me” Lin Ling pleaded with his employer, after being friends with Nice and Moon for so long, he knew what Treeman was capable of and he feared for his life.
Ms.J took away the tablet and looked at him for a few seconds before signing, “You are lucky that this isn’t affecting Nice’s trust value negatively, it’s the opposite, actually his trust value has been soaring, he has already risen from rank 15 to rank 12 from this so Treeman has decided to follow what people want” she grabbed Lin Ling’s chin and raised his head to cantimeters away from her face “Lin Ling from today on you are Nice’s twin brother who is going to deput as the hero Commoner”
Lin Ling blankly stared at Ms.J, wondering if she had been sleeping properly because she sure was spouting nonsense. “Me? Nice’s Twin? A hero? Ms.J are you okay?” Lin Ling asked before he could think properly.
Ms.J let go of his face and sat down on his second hand sofa like it was a throne. “As someone in the industry, you should know this better than anyone, the best way to make money is to cater to public opinion, especially in hero unsuterly where everything comes from people's trust and belief.” She turned on her tablet again and typed something then turned it for him to see “People want The Commoner, Nice’s twin brother? So we are going to give them The Commoner?” on the screen was a fan art of him in a hero custom, it was very similar to Nice’s custom but it had black parts instead of Nice’s pure white and gold. The most striking thing was perhaps the white streak of hair they had drawn for him.
The post had nearly 100k likes and almost a 1 million views.
Ms.J then switched to the front camera while still holding the tablet in front of his face. There was a white streak of hair in front of his forehead that wasn’t there the night before
