I’m resting at the Fenglin Army Camp and just as I was passing by the training grounds, I saw Advisor Shang bandaging General Jin’s arm while fussing over him while said General was staring at Advisor Shang deeply. He was most definitely admiring Advisor Shang.
Get me out of this hell hole.
P.S, I am doing fine at least. Before my sanity runs dry.

I’m glad you are doing well at the front lines. Please make sure you take care of yourself. I visited Shuixiu and Shuiyue and they miss you very much and wanted me to pass it on to you.
I am sure you can handle third wheeling General Jin and Advisor Shang. If General Lingchuan can, then surely you will as well.

General Jin is apparently easily tipsy and one sip of alcohol got him drunk. He was talking about the girl in green which is obviously Advisor Shang who was in said room. Would it be bad to say that I regret being master's student? If I hadn't become such a trusted figure in court then I wouldn't be here watching General Jin nearly throw a fit because Advisor Shang did not wait to say goodbye on our latest mission. That’s very nice to hear. However I do wish we swapped places because I almost got kidnapped today and it felt eerily similar to the assassination attempt earlier this year. I feel like these two events may be connected somehow.

I forgot to mention earlier but me and Advisor Shang brought back Helan Yin and now Lingchuan is talking with him. I have hopes this gives us a way to defeat Dongzhao with their super soldiers since they are using some sort of drug to enhance them.

I cannot talk or reply much today as a necromancer has shown up at my doorstep and told me he’s here to teach me necromancy. This goes against everything I’ve learned in medicine and the ethics medicine has.
The letter Xu Rongyuan sent has a small attachment to it.

That’s…quite unexpected to hear. I never knew legends could actually be real. And a necromancer teaching a doctor necromancy? That’s quite a conundrum.
Helan Yin is also giving us information about Dongzhao that is very vital to our plans. However, with the super soldiers Dongzhao has, we need a cure to reverse the drug so we’re sending a sample to the Gingko Institution in hopes of a cure.

I trust Chief Cheng and the others will be able to find a cure for this drug in no time. They are quite knowledgeable.
A woman with a spear showed and tried leaving when she saw the necromancer. The spirit the necromancer has didn’t let her leave, seemingly fascinated with her.
