As the son of one of the richest and globally spreading company , its no shock that sometimes he would have to go overseas from time to time. And so he wasnt phased when his father casual told him over dinner he would be going to The UK for 2 weeks for a 'business opportunity' and to 'learn how to form partnerships' with different CEO's. Total BS if you ask him.
Usually he just accepted them with a shrug of his shoulder , its not like he had very important plans that cant wait. Usually being the key word , now he had his treasure Nagi. His treasure was more important than anyone else. Plus he had planner for them to hang out more since they just recently started dating.
At first he straight up tells his father he can't , but of course the man was having it. Then he tries to bargain , no dice.He tried everything to not go on that trip , but nothing worked , so now he had to sadly cancel all his plans with his boyfriend and tell him he will be gone for a whole 2 weeks.
During lunch , while Nagi was on his lap playing his shooter game , Reo breaks out the news.
"Hey treasure , I'll be gone for 2 weeks . My dad's making me do this business trip."
"Hmm , then i wont come to school until youre back."
"Treasure you can't do that!"
"Why? You dont be there either so it doesnt matter."
"Hey babe, dont be like that . We can still video call."Reo gently runs his fingers through Nagi's hair.
"Every day?"
"Every day."
"Ok then , Ill keep coming to school.But if you miss 1 call I'll stop coming until you take me there with the Reo limousine"
"Ok treasure~" The latter just giggles at his lover antics.
~Time skip~
The first few days Reo settled nicely into his hotel room . Of course he didnt forget to video call Nagi daily. Since the time difference between the UK and Japan was 8 hours he mostly got to call Nagi when the taller was about to fall asleep , which he did everytime on call and it was kinda cute in Reo's opinion. Seeing how the white hair drools on his pillow in his sleep , or how he sometimes mumbles cute nonsense, it made Reo feel all bubbly inside. And something inside him was please that only he got to see Nagi like this.Only him.
Nagi was also handleing this distance relationship pretty well , the video calls were nice and the only thing he looked forward to . He enjoyed being praised by Reo for doing the bare minimum.Just a simple "Good job treasure for eating all your meals" would make Nagi forget all about the painfully long school day.
But all that change ones day 5 came.
It started off like any day without Reo , dull and boring . Lunch came by after what felt like years of classes. He was about to head out to the rooftop to eat and game in peace when he overheard 2 girls from his class talking.
"Its such a shame Mikage-san wont be here for a while." Girl 1 says while pushing her glasses.
"Oh but he will come back just in time for that big party!All the richest families are invited to it so of course he will have to go."Girl 2 says with excitement as she readjusts the bow holding her hair.
He was about to walk off since their conversation wasnt that interesting , he knew Reo would probably not go if he asked him nicely , he was Reo's treasure after all.
Just then he stops in his tracks after hearing what the glasses girl says.
"I cant believe youre going to ask him to go the party with you, you go girl."
What?
"Yeah . Im going to ask him when he comes back so no other girl can get to him before I do.Just imagine it, us dancing together and then we kiss and maybe even-"
What?
Did this bitch really think she had a chance with his Reo?! Now he can't let that slide.
That lunch instead of gaming he spent it on planing how to make this girl back off his Reo. He could always kill her but that would be too much of a hassle.Guess he can leave her off with a warning.
On the other side of the world Reo was losing his mind. Nagi hasnt texted him yet and his lunch started 10 minutes ago (yes reo kept check of that ). Had something happened to his treasure? Did he fall down the stairs and get hurt? Did he nap too much ? Or worse , did someone pick on him?
Reo knew its no secret that Nagi is an easy target for bullies when hes not around. But surely he was just over thinking. Even so he needed his mind to be at ease , so he text Baya a quick message.
"Please look out for Nagi while im gone."
His butler knew by that he meant to monitor the man almost 24/7. Was it unhealthy of him? Yes , but what else is he supposed to do? Sometimes desperate times called for desperate measures.
A few minutes after he texted Baya he gets a message from Nagi
"Sorry , I napped for most of lunch oxo"
Oh his silly Treasure~
Nagi dodged a bullet with that one , all his planning and he was about to have his cover blown before his plan ever started. Now that school was over he can start his plan.
He finds the girl that was planning to ask Reo to be his date and follows her until she's only 2 streets away from her house he pulls her into a dark ally and covers her mouth.
Of course the girl panics and tries to break away but Nagi is just stronger and bigger than her.
"Now listen here bitch. You stay away from Reo . He doesnt want you or your fake hair extensions."
Between her cries and struggles she manages to let out a response.
"Why should i listen to you?"
"Oh you will" He takes her hand and twist it , straining her wrist. Her cries of pain are muffles by Nagi's hand.
"Next time you try anything to get close to him it will be worse than that." And with that he disappears into the night.
Nagi makes it blissfully unaware that Reo had actually been watching him through the city CCTV footage.He had seen everything , but even so he wasnt the least bit disgusted or disturbed . In fact he was blushing and smiling like an idiot as he replayed the footage. His treasure really loved him~
Once he made sure Nagi made it back home safe he closes the CCTV. No body needs to know why he was able to access this , he was a Mikage after all he has his way of getting what he wants. Plus Baya couldnt fully follow Nagi and watch him since she was busy…dealing with a few guys from his school that Baya told him were making fun of his lover behind his back and of course he couldnt let that slide.
That night the couple peacefully chatted on video call as if nothing happened . Other people would find it weird or disturbing , but none of them understood their unique way of loving eachother.
