Candy Apple Cookie was a Faerie, once.
She lived with Grapevine Faerie Cookie Black Sapphire Cookie, her brother.
She had friends but they thought her weird. They thought that she was too… Loud, too obnoxious, for their liking.
She didn’t mind, she didn’t care, because at least they talked to her, and that was more than enough.

There was one cookie that was nice to both Candy Apple Cookie and Black Sapphire Cookie.
Her name was Sugarfly Cookie. She had beautiful wings, and could fly quite well. Sugarfly Cookie always looked happy when she was flying.
But she’d always lament on how she wished she was prettier.
One day, she disappeared, never seen again.
Such a shame…

Candy Apple Cookie has always been bad at flying. It didn’t make sense seeing as she was a Faerie, Grape Black Sapphire Cookie would say, but he’d still try to teach her, and would never get mad.
Sugarfly Cookie tried teaching her too.

Grapevine Black Sapphire Cookie was good at storytelling, and would spin tales to tell to the younger Faeries.
They loved his stories, and would beg him to tell them more.
But then he started spreading rumors, started lying, and got himself exiled from the Faerie Kingdom.
Apple Faerie Candy Apple was quick to follow, not wanting to be left alone, living by herself, with Cookies that disliked her.

One day, when wandering around, they met him.
The Beast of Deceit, Shadow Milk Cookie.
He claimed to have noticed Grapevine’s Black Sapphire Cookie’s penchant for spreading rumors, and Candy Apple Cookie’s energetic self.
And he asked them whether they’d like to help him spread his truth.
His lies.
He gave them an offer of a home and immortality in exchange for them working for him.
They accepted, and took up new names, and new appearances.

When Shadow Milk Cookie asked the two to disguise themselves for sneaking around the Faerie Kingdom, they knew immediately what to do.
Candy Apple Cookie looked in her closet, pulling out her old green dress. It still fit her, seeing as she never aged.
Black Sapphire Cookie pulled out a small box from under his bed. A box filled with all the things he had from his past that he brought with him. His clothes still fit him. Good.
Magic could take care of the rest.

Under her old name of ‘Apple Faerie Cookie’, Candy Apple Cookie acted like her old self. Or tried her best, at least, but her current personality shone through, occasionally.
Apple Faerie Cookie was gullible, naive, trustworthy.
Candy Apple Cookie was none of those things.
And those foolish, FOOLISH cookies believed her disguise.
But of course, that STUPID, HORRIBLE vanilla cookie still awakened and got out in the end.

When Pure Vanilla returned, he couldn’t help but wonder whether it was simply a disguise. So he decided to check the records of the inhabitants of the Faerie Kingdom, wondering if Apple Faerie Cookie was real.
And then he saw her name.
Apple Faerie Cookie.
And apparently, she had a brother.
Grapevine Cookie.
Exiled for spreading rumors and lies, and was never seen again.
Huh, how… Interesting.
