Notes:

Notes: Information was taken from the FBC Files and the Control Wiki. All information/numbering systems for Firebreaks are completely made up by me.

AWE-24: Ordinary AWE
OOP1-KE: The Service Weapon
OOP11-KE: The Ashtray and Cigarette
OOP15-UE: The Slide Projector

For blueyeti: Pursuant to your "sentient places" CCoF, Control is an SCP video game in which you play as the new Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, a government bureau tasked with retrieving and controlling Objects of Power, as well as handling the aftermath of Altered World Events (among other things). The headquarters is in the every-changing, seemingly sentient Oldest House.

FIELD RESEARCH ON FIREBREAK:
FIREBREAK 7A-29O

--CONFIDENTIAL--

SUMMARY:

The Firebreaks are known topographical features of the Oldest House, having been documented since the first foray from the Crossroads to what is now the Maintenance Sector. For many years Firebreaks were considered to be stable even as the certain sectors and restricted locations accessed via them have shifted (refer to file ██████ for full report). This is no longer the case. It is now apparent that Firebreaks are malleable and may form without warning. Current research suggests that changes in Firebreaks may be related to the Director; however, although previous Directors noted unpredictabilities in Firebreaks (refer to file ██████ for information on Firebreak 7a-24; Trench Z.; ██████ for information on Firebreak 2b-01; Northmoor, B.), the current Director is the first to document the appearance of a new Firebreak (refer to file ██████; Faden, J.).

BACKGROUND:

Director Faden was traversing Firebreak 7a-24 to return OOP11-KE (see file ██████ for complete documentation of ██████'s discovery in the Maintenance Sector) when she noticed a pathway approximately 20m below. Director Faden accessed the Firebreak (hereafter referred to as Firebreak 7a-29O), and using OOP1-KE to destroy Black Rock, successfully entered Firebreak 7a-29O.

Upon entering Firebreak 7a-29O, Director Faden entered an alternate version of the Ashtray Maze shaped as the interior of Director Faden's house in Ordinary (refer to files for AWE-24 and associated supplement, AWE-24 Stages 1-4). Director Faden reported moving hallways matching those of the hallways to her childhood kitchen and bedroom. Director Faden was able to exit through an anomalous hallway leading to a recreation of her brother's bedroom (refer to file ██████ on P6; Faden, D.). The chest of drawers featured a LEGO version of OOP15-UE (see AWE-24 case file for more information). OOP15-UE remained inoperable, and when Director Faden placed OOP11-KE atop it, an exit appeared that led to the Ashtray Maze.

See the transcript of Pope's interview with Director Faden for more information (██████).

CONCLUSION:

More research required. Director Faden will return with a forward team chosen by Security Chief Arish.
