Chapter Text
If you were to ask Pangi what he was feeling at the exact moment, it would be exhaustion.
He was up for a while when Lifesteal started. He simply wanted to go back to base and have a goodnights rest. But he wouldn't let himself, at least not yet.
He had promise Jaron to meet up after the whole staying up fiasco. He did regret it now that he actually has to visit him, but it would be nice to talk to him again. They had a hard time communicating when Pangi was in the Realm, maybe they could have a real conversation.
He had no idea where he was headed, presumably near spawn, or so he hoped.
"Pangi!" The voice had alerted him instantly.
"Jaron!"
He raised his glasses atop his head to get a better look. There he was. He ran over quickly, pulling him into a hug.
Jaron hugged back immediately. He laughed a bit before speaking up.
"I missed you man."
"I missed you too bro!" He pulled Jaron away to look at his face. He was so.. exicted!
"How was it on the Realm man? Did you like it?"
"Oh– it was great! I mean, I do miss my friends. But it's good to be back! And even better to see you." He winked after responding. He cringed after doing that, but no giving back now.
Jaron laughed, looking up at Pangi.
"Great to see you too dude."
They stared at eachother. It felt peaceful. Sure it was "the deadliest server" but they deserved happy moments. Especially with one another.
"Soooo... who are you teaming with? Need another?"
He nudged Pangi lightly, getting him out of his daze.
"Oh! Yeah, Derap, Terrian, Cube."
"Derapchu? I mean, not to be mean. But I thought you'd have a better team."
He shot his hands up in order to defend himself. Pangi simply chuckles in response.
"Yeah, yeah.. I mean, I felt kinda.. press..ured? But honestly it isn't that bad!"
"Well.. As long as you're happy!" He felt very skeptical about the predicament. But what could he do? He wasn't the one teaming with Pangi. Something in him wishes he was.
He placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Pangi. I love you man."
"What?"
Honestly, he didn't know how to respond to that. Hearing it from Jaron felt right. He needed that. But, it was so out of the blue. What was the point in that anyway?
"Oh, well, um. I love you too bro. Hey, it's getting late. Talk to you later? I can invite you on one of the sets this time around!" In all honesty he just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. He still felt exhausted, and this wasn't helping him one bit.
Regardless, the statement peaked Jarons intrest. He always loved doing that type of fun stuff. Takes the mind off of what really happens. It's also kinda nice to be able to hang out with his friends.
"Of course man! Just give me a call and we can make something work. See ya Pangi. Nice talking to you."
So they went their separate ways. Pangi felt.. odd after that. He hadn't had a clue on why. But he was too tired to try to deal with those emotions anyway.
He should think of a new video idea. And fast.
