Grief and Joy spilled on paper.

Summary:

This is just a just a collection of poetry and little songs and tidbits that I've written. And also most recently, short stories.

Also, there's a BIG difference in quality between my first ones, and my later ones.

Chapter 1: Vows

Chapter Text

There's a short way to phrase this, and a long way. For the long version, you know how much I like to wax poetic. Though if stood here listing your many virtues and all the little things I adore about you, we'd be here for hours.

I'll follow you to the ends of the earth and even through them, be it stormy weather, unbearable heat, or worse. I love you beyond what my words can describe, which is impressive considering my vocabulary.

You are to be mine- and I yours- my darling dearest, my sun and moon, the love of my life. You're kind, and funny, and brilliant, and beautiful, and I hope that we'll have many children. If they inherit even a fraction of the things I love about you, one day far into the future, the people who meet them in the future will find what I found in your arms.

Please believe me when I say these praises about you, as they're well deserved- we both know how prone I am to over-thinking, so rest assured that I have thought about this dozens upon dozens of times over, and I've considered every single possible reason to and to not love you.

And yet, we're here today, and my very soul is smiling. Never once have I felt unsafe with you in my arms, and I pray that you and I will have many happy times to come. I hope with all of my heart that you feel the same, but then again, if you didn't, we wouldn't be here right now.

As for the short version, well- I love you. There's not really much else to say.

Notes:

You know the story about the woman who had a dream that she had children, and when she woke up, she was lonely, and the feeling took hours to fade?
