Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

(Pure Vanilla’s perspective)

I sit beside my best friend, Dark Cacao, while I dare not utter a word. He pats my shoulder and lended me my favorite jellies.

He noticed that I felt like I was a little down throughout the weekend, so he decided to go to my house— which I am thankful for. There we are in my room, where I look at the floor, thinking about my week, reminiscing my past, and munching my favorite jelly.

“So when are you gonna start?” I flinched as my friend says that. I sighed like I never did. I didn’t know where to start, there are just so many paths to start.

“I don’t know.” I said. “But I might just dump everything on your face. Don’t make fun of me, please?” I pleaded to him. I definitely did not want any painful statements anymore.

“Why should I? Go on. Let it out.” He insisted.

I ate the last jelly on my hand, then took the deepest breath of my life. I felt the tears running down my cheeks and a lump growing on my throat. I definitely couldn’t let any words out.

My friend patted my back gently, which really calmed me down— at least I’m not alone in this, at least my friend is beside me, listening.

“Okay.” I said. “I will… start. Please just don’t laugh. Most importantly, never tell anyone.” I added, just incase, but I trusted him.

      “I promise.”
