"Aegis, can we talk?" Yozora asked softly as he entered Aegis room. " What is it Yozora?" Aegis replied to his question, confused ."It's about you and your most recent mission from this week." Yozora answers Aegis's question. "Oh, right..." Aegis replied nervously as he looked away from Yozora and continued wrapping his wrist with a bandage.
" I guess you don't want to talk about it right now, it is?" Yozora asked Aegis curiously. Aegis knows Yozora is worried about him, since he takes riskier missions than the other, all he wants is to keep everyone safe." Look, Yozora, I'm sorry for the-" Before he could finish his sentence, a sharp pain came around his body, causing him to sit down on the bed. " Aegis! Are you okay?" Yozora asked concerned for his lover as he ran to his bed to check on him. " I'm fine, it's just hurt a little bit," Aegis replied, weaker as Yozora checked his injuries. " Hurt a little bit? Aegis, are you kidding me?" Yozora replied, ignored.
" What do you want me to say, Yozora? I know that you've been worried about me lately since I woke up from my coma two months ago." Aegis softly said. Yozora remained silent for a few minutes until he saw a scar under Aegis's shirt, probably a new or old one. Aegis, knowing Yozora, looks at the scar on his shoulder. " Yozora? Are you okay?" Aegis asked Yozora with curiosity. "Huh? I-I'm fine, can you take off your shirt so I can examine your injuries." Yozora blushed command. " Sure, everything for you, commander." Aegis kindly replied to his lover as he took off his shirt to reveal a bunch of scars, from top to bottom. Yozora anxiously touched one of them, a large scar in the abdomen. " Aegis? I-I don't know how I could s-stop these s-stupid GIGAs from hurting y-you! If it w-worth for that, y-you could had d-died." Yozora slowly started sobbing uncontrollably as he finished his sentence.
Aegis felt his lover's words, and Yozora went through a lot in his life. Death, suffering, and this war against the organization behind the GIGAS are taking a toll on Yozora's well-being, since the GIGAS attack two months ago. As a response, Aegis hugs Yozora tightly, to come to Yozora's surprise." Listen, Yozora, that day when the GIGAS attacked wasn't your fault, it's their fault that you have to suffer like this for a long time. All I did was protect you and the other from them, but as a consequence, I got badly injured and fell into a coma for a month, all it was darkness in my deep sleep, but when I wake up, you were there in my side of the hospital bed, my bright light." Aegis peacefully told Yozora this. Yozora stopped crying by that point.
" I-I'm sorry, Aegis, I just want to keep you and everyone else safe, but I'm actually causing problems for the people around me, including you. Do you forgive me?" Yozora asked Aegis anxiously. "Of course, my love, all that matters is your well-being, based on the stories that Magia and Rin told me when I woke up did spark my concern for you." Aegis jokingly replied. " I kinda know that one coming from him." Yozora sighs at the plan." Right.. It's getting late now, you should go to bed, we'll have a lot tomorrow." Aegis replied."Yeah, you're right, but I don't want to sleep by myself tonight, so can I sleep with you?" Yozora asked optimistically.
" Sure, why not my love, plus I do need someone to sleep with," Aegis kindly replied as he and Yozora went to bed, comforting each other with kisses and cubbies."Good night Yozora." Aegis softly said. " Good night, Aegis." Yozora said back as he fell asleep," Don't worry, my love, everything will be alright." Aegis peacefully said as he softly kissed Yozora on the forehead, and he fell asleep as well. Two lovers enjoyed each other's company throughout the night and they promised that everything will be alright.
