Hungry

Summary:

Whumpay Day 1: Used as a Weapon

This has been the longest they've gone without eating since being captured. And they were so hungry.

Notes:

Not actually sure if this technically counts since they're more being used to clean up murders, but oh well.

Work Text:

They were hungry. Oh, so hungry.

In the beginning, their captors fed them, but the past few weeks they've barely been fed anything. All three of them had been fed measly chunks of meat days ago. Meat that they all could still taste on their tongues. Meat that was so bloody, so warm, and wet.

As much as they hated being confined separately, it was a good thing this time. As each of them would have fought for the other's share. Their small, clear glass prisons made them angry. They didn't belong in those, they belonged out in the wild, where they could swim to cold and warm waters as they wished. Where they could hunt for their own fresh and warm meat.

Starscream twirled slowly in the small cage he was trapped in. Paying little attention to the others, Skywarp's claws screeched against the glass of his own cage as he continued to try to break out. Thundercracker had huddled into the bottom of his own, hands clenched into fists as he tried to avoid tearing into his own flesh. The three of them were starting to get desperate. Starscream was debating on taking a bite out of his own tail just to get something in his stomach. But all three knew, knew that if they caused damage to themselves, whether it was by scratching themselves bloody or starting to cannibalize themselves, the others would be on them once they had the chance.

None of them were safe from each other.

Glaring into the dark of the ocean, Starscream's spinal fins rose in a useless threat display. The ocean was empty around them, the deep dark below them called to Starscream, and no doubt the others as well. The shine of the moon above them made Starscream want to open his mouth and sing. Sing to entice his food to him. Sing, as all three were learning to do before they had been swept away by a storm and captured by a passing ship.

They had been kept above the water, surrounded by human things. But now, now they had awoken on a ship, again. Their cages had been dropped not long ago, leaving them to dangle and crave the freedom they once had. Why the humans had brought them out was a mystery, but it was no doubt not going to be in their favor.

A scent hit them, causing all three of them to freeze. Thundercracker's head rose, nostrils flaring in time with Skywarp's and Starscream's as they took in the iron rich scent. Their stomachs growled with hunger. They all recognized that scent, recognized it as the meat their captors had fed them recently.

There were sudden loud splashes from above. And there, across from them, where the shadow of another boat had been rocking, fell bodies. Bleeding bodies.

Starscream licked his fangs, the smell making his pupils dilate as he stared at the bodies, blood surrounding them in a massive cloud.

Neither of them paid attention as the cages suddenly made a noise. All they cared about was the glass was finally gone.

Starscream didn't wait. He shot out of his confining cell, tail lashing in the water and stirring up bubbles as he shot to one of the bodies. His claws dug into the soft flesh, straight through cloth that he wasted no time in ripping to shreds. And then he was digging his fangs into the bleeding wound on the human's neck, ripping a chunk of still warm flesh. He moaned, the taste of warm, fresh blood filling his mouth as he chewed the flesh and muscle in his mouth.

Ripping off another piece, this time from the shoulder, Starscream looked up to watch as Skywarp and Thundercracker followed suit in starting to devour their own bleeding human. Thundercracker, the weirdo, was thrilling, practically singing in joy as he devoured his bloody meat.

In what seemed much too short, they had ripped as much flesh and meat from the corpses as they could stomach. Which just happened to be the entire bodies. Starscream licked his lips and fangs, tasting the flesh and blood still in his mouth. He felt stronger, he also felt slightly heavier. Looking down his body, Starscream noticed the slight budge on his stomach from the sheer amount of meat he had devoured.

He hadn't felt this good since he was still a pup being fed by his parents until he was tired with a full belly. Narrowing his eyes, Starscream realized that he should have had more of a budge with the sheer amount of human flesh, but he didn't. It was then that he noticed that the heavier part wasn't just because of his stomach. But his body as well. Starscream flexed his hands, admiring how much bigger they were. Everything about him was bigger, and his spinal spines were longer, they flared even wider.

Starscream grinned a vicious grin as he looked over to find the same changes had happened to Thundercracker and Skywarp. They were bigger and thicker than they were before they ate. Skywarp's tail flashed in a multitude of colors, as he grinned back at Starscream.

A loud noise filled the air, a noise all three looked to at having had it played to them the past weeks.

Starscream's grin turned even more vicious, if possible, as he narrowed his eyes. Spines flaring and tail thrashing. Even if they did answer that call, there was no way they would fit into their previous cells. And well, a shared look between the three revealed exactly what they were all thinking.

They were still hungry.
