The weather was nice , cozy and warm in the noon if you ignore Theo’s disturbance on trying to fight Wemmbu when he and his partner in crime Eggchan tried to start anew by building a small mushroom house for the two of them in far out seven thousand by seven thousand out from spawn direction .
Wemmbu and Egg were working on a trap together in the afternoon to stop Theo from coming , putting shriekers by shriekers in a small hole underground . Time passes by quickly and before they even realize the night has already come by , the sun sets in while the moon quickly takes over its place in the nice sky .
Wemmbu was getting exhausted time by time , the moon glows from afar reflecting his purple skin . “ Yo Egg , I'm gonna take a break for a sec . “ He spoke to his angel hybrid friend .
Egg , focusing on the shriekers that he counted as their pets , replied with a simple “ ok . “
Wemmbu huffed , walking into their simple built base , the both of the friends never knew how to build an actual pretty base for life's sake but went with it anyways . He was pretty proud of it whether it looked bad or not .
He sat down on his bed , tapping a finger on the soft cozy material that they used for the bed , even though it was just the average wool people would use for a bed .
it wasn't long until the purple demon got bored out of his mind just sitting on his bed , there wasn't really anything super interesting in this small house for his entertainment anyways.
Wemmbu got up from the warm bed , stretching before going outside again ( and you should do that , too . ) . It was still as cold , Egg slightly struggling on trying to get more shriekers without his help . chuckling at the sight of it as he finds it pretty funny .
The sound of the shriekers were loud as hell , making his ears ring hearing the crowd of the shriekers . He turned down the hostile creatures' sound lower in the settings then focused back on . . whatever he was doing .
He walks around the lawn , trying to find a spot that may be comfortable for him . He spotted a nice grassy land behind their home , where you can see the glimmering moon and view on top of this small hill they live in .
He sat down at the nice grassy ground beneath him , the moon shining down nicely to him , stars aligning among the dark night sky .
He wasn't that much of a stargazer , hell he thought stargazing is pretty corny . But for some reason , something changed his mind today . It was different , he finds the breeze calming and nice .
He gazed at the stars within the sky , which was soothingly nice for him . He never got the chance to just relax in this . . destructive economy of a server that he never thought about actually taking a rest .
He thought about how Egg was always pressured to do something with him , how Egg wanted to be a pacifist in the first place . . He glances back at the angel , working hard on the shriekers in the middle of the cold night . Feeling slight care about him working hard .
He clicked his fingers , trying to get Egg's attention to him . Egg immediately noticed the clickings and his head snapped back from the shriekers to the purple demon .
“ yo ? “ Egg called back , pausing on the shriekers .
“ C’mere for a sec bro . “ Wemmbu stated , his hand gesturing for him to come by .
Egg looked at the shriekers , then back at him . Patching up the small hole that has the shriekers in it before coming over .
“ Sit down , sit down . “ Wemmbu requested , patting down a spot beside him as a gesture for the angel to sit down with him . Egg raised a suspicion but did what he said as he trusted him .
Wemmbu smiled gently seeing his best friend sat down beside him , but immediately shook his head finding it embarrassing to be happy being around his friends , looking back at the stars .
“ so , what's so special about this ? “ Egg muttered , but loud enough so wemmbu could answer the small question .
Nothing was really special about it , just a dark sky with a few stars and the moon lighting it up , just one of the average nights . Maybe this was just one of the excuses for Wemmbu to spend time with his best friend , to just create a simple bond between the two of them for the future .
But would wemmbu admit that aloud? Hell no . That would be too corny for him , so he just brushed it off with a simple answer of “ just relax . “
Egg knew that wasn't just it , but didn't want to push it further so he just sighed it off . His wings lowering as he relaxed looking up to the stars , slightly wrapping it to the other man next to him .
Wemmbu felt the soft feathers behind him and leaned back to the touch , finding comfort in it his demon tail swished to Egg's side . Cozying up to the wings like a warm blanket .
His head leaning over the angel's shoulder , and egg didn't complain , instead he let the cold man snuggle up to him .
The moonlight reaching onto them , glowing in the middle of the dark hills like a pure angel .
Not a few moments has passed and wemmbu already felt like he was gonna drift off to sleep from exhausting , glancing up to the angel.
He wondered what he would do if he didn't have a friend like Egg , but it's just emptiness . he didn't know what he would actually do , maybe he would actually fought back to Theo ? maybe the zam empire would never be blown up ? maybe he would've never discovered some people he knew now ? but he wouldn't know , all he thinks now that he's glad that he actually had a friend like him , despite of how stupid the chungus actually is .
Lost deep in thought , Wemmbu didnt even realised that Egg were already drifted off unconscious until he felt a light weight on his head , his friend leaning towards him .
Soon enough , the demon would also drift off to sleep from all these cozy feeling , he was tired anyways .

before the two was woken up by an explosion near their house , and of course . it was Theo again , coming back wanting a duel with Wemmbu .
