Yoichi Isagi moved from Japan to Europe at a young age, first to Spain where he built a friendship with Leonardo Luna, Carlos Gomez, a goalkeeper, Sae Itoshi and Josep Ramirez; then he moved to Germany where he met Michael Kaiser and Alexis Ness, building a bond stronger with them because they didn't have parents figures to look up to so his parents took care of them.
But, everything changed when Yoichi's mom called him to the dinner table “Yocchan, your father and I are worry that you might forgot Japanese culture and the language so we want you to finish school there”
“But the school I am in taught me everything I need to know”
“Yes, but they don't have all the details of some traditions so we want you to go there. We found a good school with dorms in there for you to stay and with your salary you will buy yourself what you need, we will pay for the school”
“You already decided so... I don't have a choice huh?” Asked him, sighing and looking down “I will let my teammates and coach know tomorrow”
And he did, Kaiser was the most affected by this but decided to support him. The club promised to keep paying him and if they need to renew his contract they will do it until he's done. He was already 17 so he will be there for two years.
Kaiser gave him a present, it was a necklace with a blue rose, a green puzzle piece and a purple eye. “This is a reminder of us as a trio and I'm sure we will see each other again” they hugged and Isagi put it on.
The day of flight arrived, all the Bastard players were there to say their farewells to him. Kaiser hugged him tightly and he left for Japan.
“ We have important news, our striker and New Gen Eleven Yoichi Isagi left the country today to finish his studies in Japan. It's news that impacts our community because he's a key player for the team, but studies come first and we will be waiting for his return soon.
We did some research and he might be away for a year so let's wait for that and, good luck, striker ” commented the anchor of Bastard TV as he was informing about Yoichi's flight.
Meanwhile Yoichi was heading to Japan, listening to his favorite songs and wishing to be next to his friends sooner.
Sae was quite affected by this, he was worried for Yoichi since he found out about this. If Yoichi decided to play football there, he might be affected by their shitty mentality and it could be horrible for him.
“Sae... Don't worry, Ichi is strong, he won't accept the Japanese mentality, he will make sure he will be the one changing them” said Leonardo Luna as they were running in the running machine.
“I hope so” said Sae, looking as serious as ever but you can see a hint of worry in his eyes.
When Yoichi arrived in Japan there was a young woman with a white jacket with black stripes on it with a paper saying “Welcome to Japan Isagi Yoichi. Hakuho High School”
He walked toward her and smiled kindly “Hello, I’m Isagi Yoichi.” the girl smiled back.
“Nice to meet you, how was your flight?”
“It was pretty nice”
“I’m glad to hear that, Isagi-kun. I know you have euros so you can go to an exchange house to have yen” he nodded and they went to the exchange house and changed some of his euros and it was a huge amount of them so he will be more than fine for a long time.
Then they left to go to the school, the girl, Yagami Sakura, explained everything about the school and the kind of student they have, it was an elite school with the sons and daughters of important Japanese CEOs or billionaires from Japan, but they also have students with a scholarship because they were pretty smart and they pass their test.
Yoichi could be in the group of families with money, mostly because of his job as a football player but he needed to remember that he wasn’t a star here, he was a normal kid who came from a western country.
When they arrived, she showed him his bedroom. It wasn’t fancy or anything, it was pretty normal but cozy so he placed his stuff and went out to buy some food for him then he sent a few videos to his Bastard chat group and lay down to sleep.
The next day he went to his first class “Good morning kids, this is Isagi Yoichi, he comes from Germany” he took a bow.
“Good morning, it is a pleasure to meet you, I’m a football player, I enjoy watching movies and reading manga. Hope we can be good classmates”
“Thank you Isagi, please sit next to Mikage” he pointed to the purple haired boy, he went there and sat down.
Then the class began, Mikage was very intelligent and always answered right, Yoichi did some good exercises, making him quite angry because Reo Mikage was a diva, he liked to be in the spotlight. At lunch the news of Isagi’s arrival was known by the school and those with a minimal football knowledge were all over him so he decided to go to the roof to eat.
There was a white haired kid, sleeping, so he sat far from him. Isagi was eating while watching the headlights of Bastard games. He was so concentrated that didn’t notice someone was behind him until he said “Who’s that pretty powerful dude with blonde hair and blue tips?”
Isagi almost choked, he coughed softly “that’s Michael Kaiser, he’s my best friend from Germany”
“So you play football...” he nodded “That’s great, I admire people who enjoy doing things like running, that’s too much effort” he said as he lazily laid his head on the wall “I prefer to sleep and play video games”
“Football is fun, you should try” he said looking at the boy, he had a lean body, he was tall and looked like a pretty athletic guy, even though he seemed to hate sports “We can go to a local field after classes. By the way my name is Isagi Yoichi”
“My name is Nagi Seishiro” they shook their hands and Isagi continued watching while Nagi was checking out the plays from the players he was watching, Isagi explained some rules as they were watching and Nagi just had his head on the wall or his chin on Isagi’s head.
After lunch they had more classes and at the end of the day they went to a local football field. They played for some time, and they didn’t notice a pair of purple eyes looking at them, Reo Mikage was checking this out.
Isagi sent a pass but it was a bad one “Oh I’m sorry Nagi...” but he and Reo were in shock when Nagi did an impossible control “WOW!! That was amazing!!! I was like Dennis Berkham!! I will send you videos of him!!” Reo smirked, maybe his dream will come true after all, he just needs those two to join in with him.
“ Ba-ya, I need all the information about Isagi Yoichi” he said, watching those two playing.
