When Thomas was born, his first side was fear, because what do you expect? He was just chilling and swimming in the dark his whole existence and now he is in this bright new, dry, loud world. Fear was alone and in a new place so he was afraid but then he heard the familiar voice he wasn't as afraid.

Thomas is now 2 months old and Fear looks 5 years old and there was a new side forming and looks like a ghost.

Thomas is now 8 months old and the ghost side is now fully formed and looks 3 years old. One day he walked over to Fear and said "HI!! I'm Feelings and my name is Patton, what is your name?" "My name is Fear." "Hi Fear! Want to be friends?" "Sure." Patton got excited and hugged Fear.

Thomas is now 18 months old and there is a new side. He is the same age as Thomas, Fear is 6 and Patton is 4 and a half. But the new side can talk. "Hi! I'm Logan!" "Hi Logan! I'm Patton and this is Fear."

As Logan grew they learned that the was Learning. Thomas is now 2 and a half and starting pre-school in a week. Logan is 3,Patton is 5 and a half, and Fear is 7. And a new side came running in "HI! I'm Roman or Creativity! Who are you?" "I'm Logan or Learning!" "I'm Patton or Feelings and that is Fear, he doesn't like to talk much." Roman is 3 years old

Thomas is now 5 years old, Fear is 10, Patton is 7 and a half, Logan and Roman are 6. Thomas knocked over the cookies onto the floor his mom asked if he did it and he said no then boom there was a new side "Hello I'm Logan or Learning." "Hi I'm Roman or Creativity." "I'm Patton or Feelings and this is Fear." "I am Janus or Deceit." He is the same age as Patton.

Thomas is 7 when the mindscape changed in a big way. One day Fear disappeared. "Where did he go?!?!" Everyone was freaking out. After 2 days without Fear everyone was at each other's throats. Patton, Roman and Logan against Janus. Everything was fine until they went to bed. After everyone was asleep everything started shaking and there was a wall separating Janus from the others. And a whole new darker common room formed and you couldn't pass from one to the other. When Janus woke up and left his room he was alone. 'Where are the others? And why is it darker? Janus was all alone and he doesn't like being alone so he did what every other 9 year old would do. He started crying. Then out walked a new side from the kitchen "hey, are you ok?" Janus looked up and ran over to the older side and asked " Where are we? Where are the others? Who are you?" "We are in the dark side. The others are in the light side. I am Anxiety." "What!? Why are we in the dark side!? Since when were there different sides?" "As Thomas learns more he will learn right from wrong and separate us to the part that he considered us and he considers us as 'bad', he considers Logic, Creativity and Morality as 'good'." "Logic? Morality? Who are they?" "Oh Patton and Logan changed sides last night. Patton became Morality, and Logan became Logic." Janus took at least a month to get used to only having Anxiety around. Anxiety was 12.

When Thomas was 12 Remus appeared in the dark side. Remus is 13. He appeared when Anxiety was making breakfast and Janus was just leaving his room (it was already noon). "Hi! I'm Remus or Creativity!" "There are 2 of you now?" Janus mumbled to himself. "Hi Remus I'm Anxiety." "I'm Janus or Deceit."

Thomas is now 20, Anxiety is 25, Patton and Janus are 22, Logan, Remus, and Roman are 21. Thomas is in his own apartment and Patton decided to reveal himself to Thomas. Patton rose up in front of the sliding glass door when Thomas was watching a movie. "Hi Thomas!" Thomas, totally expecting someone in front of the window, screamed, which summoned Anxiety and Remus. Janus came because he still doesn't like being alone. 2 sides they didn't know and one they haven't seen in 13 years made Roman and Logan come too. And all the sides started arguing. Thomas is now panicking, which makes Anxiety anxious. It kept getting worse until Anxiety fell over because he wasn't breathing enough, so Remus did the only thing he could think of to get everyone to shut up. "*DEMONIC SCREAMING*" That got everyone to stop arguing and Thomas also stopped panicking, so Janus said, "Thank you Remus, now everyone calm down and Patton, why don't you explain everything because this all started with you." "Ok. So Thomas, sorry for scaring you. We are all a part of you. I'm your Morality and my name is Patton everyone else introduce yourselves." "I am Logan, your logical side." "I'm Roman, your creativity!" "I'm Janus, your deceitful side." "I'm Remus, also your creativity, but darker." Janus and Anxiety whispered to each other for a minute. "I-i'm A-Anxiety." "Wait what do you mean I have a brother?!" "No, I'm your twin." "What?! How!?" "One night when Thomas was 12 we went to sleep and in the middle of the night I woke up in my own bed in my own room." Logan whispered "fascinating." "And I've always wanted to meet you and today I was thinking about how much I wanted to meet you and I rose up here." "Me and Anxiety came because you got anxious and started having intrusive thoughts. And Janus got concerned so he followed us." Remus explained "Roman and I could not find Patton and saw that Thomas was in distress and then we were here." "So the only people who wanted to come here are Patton and Janus?" "Yep! Pretty much." "Hey question, if you all are me why do you look different ages?" "That's because we are Roman and I are 21-" "Me too because we are practically twins!!" "Me and Janus are 22." "No." "No? What do you mean no?" "He won't tell us anything about himself. All we know about him is that his role is anxiety. We don't even know where his room is." Remus told everyone "We should go, Thomas if you need anything just call whomever you require and we should appear." "Ok thanks Logan. It was interesting to meet you all." Once everyone left Thomas went to take a nap. When everyone was back in the mindscape they all appeared in their rooms, when all of a sudden it was like an earthquake. Once it stopped everyone ran out of their rooms except Anxiety because he knows what happened. They ran into the common room and everyone was there, there was no more dark and light just everyone together. Patton ran at Janus and hugged him, because before the split they were inseparable. Remus ran over to Roman and hugged him because he missed him and Roman felt the same way even though he technically only met him today. Logan stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do until Patton pulled him in and called "Group hug!!!" Anxiety stood watching from the hallway feeling jealous that no one recognized him, especially Patton because he took care of them all until that day he felt like he was dying and changed roles from Fear to Anxiety. But he couldn't tell them that because they would treat him like they did before, but they couldn't because he was different. So he stayed to the side and let his kids catch up.

It's been about 2 years since the mindscape became one again and Anxiety keeps getting worse and worse. He is rude, screaming and arguing with everyone. But when he is alone in his room he will make it soundproof and cry and scream and have an anxiety attack because he really missed his family but is too anxious and scared to tell them who he was. It was getting so bad that it was affecting Thomas. (With Thomas) "-we need to do something about Anxiety." "Maybe we should go to a doctor and ask what you could do?" "Yah, ok I'll do that." 2 weeks later Thomas came back from his appointment with a bottle of anxiety medication and was going to start it in the morning.

The next morning Thomas summoned everyone. They all showed up except Anxiety, because he was still passed out in his room from his at least once a day anxiety attack. "Hey guys, I'm about to start the pills, and wanted to know how it will affect you all." "You do realise that it takes time for the pills to start working, right?" Logan "Not really?" Logan sighed and pinched his nose " It takes time to get into your system and start showing that they are working." "Ok Logan." Thomas takes the pill and spends the rest of the day with the sides

It's been a month since Thomas started the anxiety medication and it's been working, but everyone is getting concerned because no one has seen Anxiety since the day before Thomas started the meds. They are all hanging out in the common room. "I'm going to see if Anxiety will come out today." "I don't think he will Patton, but go ahead we can't stop you." Janus Patton walks over to where Anxiety's door… was!? 'Where is his door!?" He can't think of what to do so he screamed and fell to the floor. The others heard him scream and ran to him "What's wrong Patton!? What happened!?" "HIS DOOR IS GONE!!" Patton is rocking back and forth because the last time this happened Fear disappeared and no one was the same because Fear was the one who kept them together and was the parent of all of them. Patton became dad after Fear disappeared. They all drop to the ground and hug Patton and each other thinking about Fear, and now how what happened to him happened to Anxiety.
(With Anxiety) When he woke up after Thomas took the pill he felt.. Off. Like something wasn't right and after a week he started getting sick. After another week it was even worse, half way into the next week he saw that his door started fading again. 'So, this is what it feels like to slowly when he wasn't supposed to'. By the end of the week his door was gone and he felt like he was dying, it hurts so much that he passed out. When he woke up he could tell that the chance had finally finished. He changed into Fight or Flight. And his colours are now black like Anxiety and a darker purple from Fear. He got up and walked out of his room to see that his room moved. It was now closest to the console for Thomas and unlike when he was Anxiety, his room is near the others rooms. He looked at his phone and saw that it was 4:30 in the morning. Unlike Anxiety, he's going to let the others know who he was. So he made the fan favorite breakfast from when he was Fear. Cinnamon rolls and patton-cakes, which are cinnamon chocolate chip pancakes, the first time he made them it was only Fear and Patton and Patton loved them so much Fear started calling them patton-cakes.

When the others woke up the next day all together and sad because of yesterday, so they decided to stay together in the imagination so that they could make an Impossibly big bed for them all. When they all woke up it was already 10:30 and they knew that they had to get up but they didn't for half an hour. When they did they opened the door and smelled chocolate and… cinnamon? They were all so confused and looked at each other "do you smell that?" "Yes, the last time I smelled that combo with no burning smell was when dad made it the day before he disappeared." They all ran out to the dining room and saw the table covered in cinnamon rolls and 6 plates with pancakes. At Patton's seat the pancakes were shaped as hearts and cats. At Logan's seat there were brain shaped pancakes. At Janus' seat there were snake shaped pancakes. At Romans there were Crowns and shields. At Remus' there were swords and octopi. Then there was a plate of regular pancakes. There was also whipped cream, fruit, orange juice and coffee on the table. And while they are all staring a man walked out of the kitchen with the syrup they all stare at him in confusion. He glances over at where they are standing and continues walking to the table and puts the syrup on the table "come on guys sit and eat." In their shock they walk over to the table and sit down. Remus being who he is eats first. "Eat it's really good" Remus tells the others. They try it and think about when Fear made these for them. "Who are you?" Logan "I'm Fight or Flight. Thanks for asking Logan." "How old are you?" Patton "I'm 27, Patton." "Do you have a name?" Roman "Yes Roman, my name is Virgil." "How do you know all of us Virgil?" "When Thomas started to take the medication Anxiety got really sick and slowly noticed how the door started fading but was too sick to do anything, and I woke up this morning." The others were shocked, but he continued, " Most of that time I was to delirious from the high fever." "What do you mean 'high fever'? How high was it?" Logan "The first week it was 101°. Then the second week it was 101.5 to 103°. The 3rd week it got to 106° for a day and a half."(101- 38.3,101.5- 38.6,103- 39.4,106- 41.1)
All of them looked shocked. "How are you not a zombie or brain dead? Or are we hallucinating? Because there is no way you could be ok after that." Remus "No, I'm fine. Because we are and aren't the same person." "How are you and aren't you the same person?" Janus "Anxiety got sick because his side changed because of the pills, and became me. Now eat, we can talk after." (Timeskip) When they all finished they went into the common room and Virgil sat on the table across from them. "Do any of you have any questions for me?" "How did you know that we liked cinnamon chocolate chip pancakes? And what shape we all liked?" Patton asked "What I'm about to tell you don't take it the wrong way, but Anxiety always wanted to tell you but was too anxious to." "All he did was yell at us and argue then run away for the rest of the day, or he would ignore us." Roman "That's because he knew you but you didn't know him. He knew everything about all of you but no one knew him, but being Anxiety ment he had really bad anxiety." Virgil told them while getting really sad. Logan covered his mouth with his hand starting to understand what Virgil was telling them. He then did something that shocked everyone but Virgil, he jumped on him hugging him like he hadn't done since he was 6 years old. After a minute Patton and Janus understand also and hug him and start crying. Remus understands but is in shock staring at him. "What?!?" "It's Dad. He was Fear." Remus said. Before anyone could do or say anything else they were all summoned. Thomas was confused, he had just been watching Wednesday and started feeling a lot of emotions and decided to call the sides to find out what happened. When Roman and Remus rise up, Roman is crying and Remus looks shocked. Patton, Janus, and Logan are hugging a new side. Roman and Remus run over and join the group hug. Virgil, being the most composed says "Hey Thomas is it important and you need us now or could we come back later?" "It's ok we can talk later." He answered understanding and was a little confused.

A couple of days later after the sides talked they just rose up to talk to Thomas. "Hey guys! So what happened a few days ago?" Thomas asked "Well Thomas, as you age sides show up and change and are whatever age you need them to be. I started as Feelings, Logan was Learning, Janus is Deceit, and I'm not sure about Remus. Me and Janus are 2 years older than you, Logan, Roman, and Remus are 1 year older. There was another side Called Fear, he was the oldest and was 5 years older than you. When you were 7 Fear disappeared and Logan, Roman, Janus and I all got into a huge fight, that day I became Morality and Logan became Logic." Patton "When I woke up and left my room everything was darker and the others were gone and I hate being alone so I started crying, but then someone I had never met walked out of the kitchen, and they said they were Anxiety. And it was just us for 5 years then Remus showed up. We didn't hear from the others until the day you met us 2 years ago." Janus "And Anxiety was always distant and ignoring us, and when he wasn't he was fighting with us he would hide in his room. Then you started taking the anti-anxiety medication and his room disappeared." Roman "During that time he was really sick and if he was human he might've died, but I got better and became a new side." Virgil "Ok, but what does all that have to do with what happened a couple of days ago?" "Before I was Anxiety I was Fear and Fear was the parent of all of them and I had just told them that. “So when they realised what I was telling them they were overwhelmed when you called us”, Virgil.
