Chapter Text
Kanan and Ezra just finished doing their supply mission but when they were on the way back to the Ghost, the phantom suddenly broke down.
The worst part was during they fixed the ship, there were dark clouds appeared, Kanan sighed "I have a bad feeling about this."
5 minutes later, the rain came down and Kanan took cover inside the phantom meanwhile Ezra enjoyed feel the rain drops which Kanan was unpleased and confused at the same time.
"We're in the middle of a thunderstorm and you want to stop and feel the rain ?"
Ezra laughed "Uh yeah, it's not often happen here. Besides I could have the best part of this." He showed Kanan with splashing on him.
Making Kanan's clothes wet "Hey !" Ezra chuckled "What ? You're scared, old man ?" He teased.
Kanan shook his head as scoffed "Oh, you want that ?" He kicked a water puddle to splash on Ezra but Ezra jumped away from it as he said "Game begins !"
Kanan and Ezra had fun, splashing each other until their bodies totally wet but then the thunder appeared "Looks like our game's over. Come on, Ezra..."
Kanan was surprised that he wasn't outside. He checked inside the phantom and found Ezra sitting on the seat as hugging his legs tight.
Kanan noticed Ezra was so scared as his body shaking. He sat besides him as rubbing his back "Ezra ?" Ezra didn't stare at him as Kanan reassured "It's okay to be afraid " "I'm such a baby." Ezra spoke.
Kanan gave him a hug "Hey, it's okay. I know you've been survived for 8 years and now, you have me. If you need some company, you can come to me, okay ?"
Ezra started to calm and stared at him "Okay." But then the thunder appeared again which Ezra screamed and hugged Kanan tight as Kanan rubbing his back.
"Shh...It's okay, I'm here..."
The thunderstorm was taking a whole night until they both fell asleep. The next day, Sabine showed up and Saw they fell asleep as cuddling.
"Hey Zeb, come here." She called in whisper.
Zeb came to her "What ? Oh..."
They smirked, watching Kanan and Ezra "Hera will be happy to see this." She thought. "I'll call her and Chopper."
