Chapter Text
"This is the story of how I died. Don't get me wrong it's a very good story. The truth is, this story isn't just mine. This story is about how I found my family. Now, there are many beginnings to this tale, but I can only start with one and through it, all will be revealed. This is the story of a boy named Sky and it starts with the sun."
"Now, once upon a time, a single tear from the goddess of the sun, Hylia, fell from the heavens. And from this tear grew a magic golden flower. It had the ability to heal the sick and injured. Oh! You see that old man over there? You might want to remember him. He's kind of important.
"Well, centuries passed and a hop skip and a boat away there grew a kingdom. The kingdom was ruled by a beloved king and queen and their first son. The queen, while she was about to have another baby, she got sick... very sick. She was running out of time and that's when people usually start to look for a miracle... or in this case, a magic golden flower.
"Ah! I told you he would be important. You see instead of sharing the goddess's gift this man, Ghirahim, hoarded its healing power and used it to keep himself young for hundreds of years! And all he had to do was sing a special song. Alright you get the gist he sings to it he turns young creepy, right?
"At last they found the flower and took it back to the kingdom. The magic of the golden flower healed the queen. A healthy baby boy, a prince was born, with beautiful golden hair! I'll give you a hint. That's Sky.
"To celebrate his birth the royal family launched a flying lantern into the sky. And for that one moment, everything was perfect... and then that moment ended... Ghirahim broke into the castle and stole the child and just like that, gone! The kingdom searched and searched, but they could not find the prince. For deep within the forest, in a hidden tower, Ghirahim raised the child as his own. Ghirahim had found his new magic flower and this time he was determined to keep it hidden.
"But the walls of that tower could not hide everything. Each year on his birthday the royal family released thousands of lanterns into the sky in hopes that one day their lost prince would return."
