Zoro was running around the town, trying to get away from his captain. He was currently in a coffeeshop, staying away from windows.
He was sipping some tea while peeking out the window to see if he could see where Luffy was.
Even though he was starting to want a jacket, he would never actually admit it.
He couldn't change his mind now. He picked a side and how he has to face the consequences.
Zoro's current attire was his usual white t-shirt and some dark green pants. He was not a winter person, at all. This sucked.
It was only a matter of time before Luffy would find him and make him bundle up. Zoro thought it was sweet sometimes. He loved Luffy a whole lot and was dedicated to making sure Luffy sought his goal of-
Shoot.
Luffy's voice rang in the coffeeshop when the bell rang to signal the door had opened. "Zoro!I found you! Look what I have~"
Zoro's eyes widened dramatically, looking at the jacket as if it were a deathtrap.
"Get that thing away from me!"
Before Zoro got to move even a step back Luffy's arm stretched out and grabbed him, and he dragged the elder out the door, kicking and screaming.
"Why can't you just put it on? Why are you being weird?" Luffy's face contorted into a look of mass confusion.
"I'm not cold!"
"Your cheeks are red!"
"The tea was hot!"
Luffy pretended to be sad, "fine, I guess you don't want to have it. I'll go back then and leave you alone," The tears in his eyes shone and his bottom lip trembled as he turned around and walked away, looking defeated, fooling the green haired man.
Well... you're doing a good job today.
Zoro's eyes widened again as he saw Luffy walk away.
You made him... CRY?!?!?!?!
Fix it, fix it, fix it!
Zoro rushed forward and turned Luffy around, "fine you idiot!" He took the jacket harshly from Luffy's grasp. "Gimme that"
He hastily put the dark green jacket on and zipped it up. "Happy?"
Luffy smiled and wiped his eyes laughing. He put his arms around Zoro and looked up at him, "thank you" He spoke quietly, smiling against his chest.
Zoro hugged him back almost instantly and rolled his eyes, "whatever, you make a big deal outta everything, shut up idiot" he mumbled under his breath.
Then they went back into the coffeeshop and sat down by the window. Today was... another good day I guess. And Luffy won at his daily mission. Get Zoro to wear a jacket.
