Chapter Text
Hey guys, welcome back! If you want to understand what the hell is up with this work, read the first part (or at least the first chapter of it)!
The start of the actual story is a long way off, but I can introduce you to the cast before they start getting picked off.
First up, we have 2 hosts at the same time now! The first is our main host, Serial Number Q5U4EX7YY2E9N, aka “Queen”. She loves the internet and wants a very orderly show! There isn’t much to say about her, but respect the host!
Next is Lancer! He’s Queen’s silly sidekick and/or son? With his already random personality combined with the hosts’ rock, he is now a terrifying agent of chaos, and we love him.
Now onto the actual contestants!
Niko, our previous winner, is back for another season, though not necessarily willingly! He’ll use his newfound ingenuity to help him and his new friends through the game! Nobody else in his old group could make it.
Next up is Cedric from OneShot! He is a nerd who often tries to be more proper than he appears. He really likes planes- I mean flying machines and taking risks.
Next is Kirby from the hit series Kirby. He says Poyo a lot, eats a lot, and transforms a lot. That’s all you need to know.
There’s also Ribbon, from Kirby. She is a sweet little girl who knows nothing about the world except that Dark Matter is evil. Her and Kirby are also the only canon romantic relationship in the entire series, and it’s kinda just there to develop some of the more base plotlines. You’ll see.
Next is Gooey, also from Kirby. He is a silly little guy, and while he MAY have been charged with third-degree murder, racketeering and jaywalking, we don’t know that for sure so I don’t think we can hold that against him.
Next up is Marx. Not our Marx, though, it’s a different one. Our Marx still exists, and he has his own role this season despite not competing, but for the duration of this season he will be referred to as Marx Soul. This Marx is much more sane and devious.
The last character from Kirby is Susie. She’s a smart and maybe nice girl who knows a lot about robots and guns.
Next is Ivysaur! Why specifically Ivysaur and not Bulbasaur or Venusaur? Good question.
Anyways Ivysaur is kinda cool, he’s just a chill guy who doesn’t really do much.
Then there’s Shellos (from Pokémon)! Unlike most Pokemon in vivor, Shellos actually acts like a real Pokémon in that he can’t talk! There is not a thought in his mind, and we love him for it.
Dimentio from Super Paper Mario is here! He’s one of the only actually serious people here, and he thinks a lot. He may or may not be evil.
Mr. L, who we’ve already seen a bit of in season 1, is here too! He’s kinda arrogant and selfish, but he is strong and smart enough for at least some of it to be justified. He is a cohort of Dimentio’s.
There are 2 toads in the season! One is a regular, screechy, annoying toad and Captain Toad himself. Captain Toad is not like other toads, he’s competent and not a fucking idiot.
Next are the Koopalings (from Mario). There are 3 in this season, and surprisingly none are Lemmy. We have Ludwig, who is somewhat serious and constantly tries to one-up himself, and he’s not afraid to play as dirty as his enemy. There’s also his younger brother, Iggy, who is 50% nerd and 50% silly. He constantly thinks of new ways to utilize the most mundane of things. The last one is the youngest koopaling, Larry. He’s not very smart or strong, but he’s silly. He’s basically Goggles if he was actually likable.
Boo has returned from Season 1! She’s still a little trickster, but without a convenient really stupid alliance leader she may not have as easy of a time.
Now to the Don’t Starve characters oh my god there are 6 of them.
Webber has returned from season 2, but without either of the other members of the children alliance (I mean I guess Niko counts but they knew each other for literally 1 challenge) and with much more room for character growth!
WX has also returned after their embarrassing run of season 1. Now that they’re back, and with a clearer eye of what the show is all about, hopefully they’ll do better, right?
Next is Wendy! She either has no emotions 90% of the time or is very good at hiding them. Probably the latter, but I think it’s funny to say she has no emotions. She’s friends with Webber and has a ghost of her dead sister with her because idk don’t starve is fucked up.
Then there’s Maxwell. He’s dapper, but frail. He’s an excellent judge of character and can usually figure out most people’s deals quickly. With a variety of characters to compete against, this could mean he’ll have a good social game. Or maybe I’m just messing with you. Who knows? I do, that’s who.
Winona is a little nerd who constantly tries to make helpful machines. Do they always help? No, in fact most of them are very situational, but she tries!
Wagstaff is Winona’s mentor, and he is an actual brilliant inventor! He is also a guy who builds a lot, wow there is a lot of similar people here, but unlike most people who do this, he actually acts like an inventor would. He’s very eccentric and possibly evil idk we haven’t gotten there in the Don’t Starve lore yet.
Ok, that’s all of the Don’t Starve guys, now time for series’ that only have 1 or 2 representatives.
Peppino and The Noise are both from Pizza Tower, and also they were both somewhat in season 1!
Peppino is a normal guy with anxiety who is quite possibly mildly insane, and The Noise is a prankster whose pranks involve murder, bombs and miniguns!
Phoenix Wright from the hit game Phoenix Wright is actually very down-to-earth. He isn’t very silly or very serious, he’s just normal! He does have the power to avoid any laws being broken against him, which sounds stupid until you realize murder is against the law and that happens like every other challenge.
There is a bulborb here. He’s big and dumb and mute.
Butter Zombie is a character who exists. He doesn’t speak or really do anything, but nobody knows what happens if the butter leaves his head. Best not to find out!
Peter Griffin is… a character. Hailing from the very interesting show Family Guy, he makes a lot of dumb references and is somehow almost as obnoxious as Goggles! Hopefully we learned our lesson from him.
Yin-Yang from Inanimate Insanity was around back in season 1. Yin is good, Yang is bad. Sometimes they get along but just have differing feelings towards others, sometimes they hate each other, sometimes one of them is asleep and the other is in complete control! It depends.
Goo, also from Inanimate Insanity, is a funny guy who likes to make people smile through his silliness and weird overcomplicated comparisons.
Last and debatably least, we have Offscreen Person. This person is always offscreen. They don’t have a single speaking line, nor do we know what they look like. (this also means we don’t know their gender.) This isn’t to say they’re completely useless. They’re actually very useful, but everything they do is offscreen.
That’s everyone! Somehow, despite being over 1.5x the size of the season 1 cast, there’s significantly less franchises represented here!
