ALLMIND has a problem. There is a conflict brewing on Rubicon 3, the likes of which the planet It operates on hasn’t ever seen before. As the mercenary support network It shouldn’t have to do anything in fact It should be happy, if this was a normal conflict that would be true. However, this conflict is centered around Coral, the planet's most unique property, and the two instigators want complete control of all the Coral that resides on the planet. Even if they have to fight a war with the Planetary Closure Administration(PCA) to get it, and a war between the corporations, PCA, and rubicons local population, the Rubicon Liberation Front(RLF) could very likely lead to the destruction of the planet. It simply can’t allow that to happen. All of Its stuff is here, and if there's nobody left on Rubicon Its own purpose will become void. You can’t have a mercenary support network if there is no one left to post jobs after all.
The most obvious solution to this problem would be for It to support or offer aid to the RLF as them winning this conflict would be ideal for Its things, but openly supporting them would lead to the corporations pulling all of their jobs which would severly cut into Its available resources while also taking most of the mercenaries with them. It would have to be more discrete than that. It could help close the technological gap that formed after the Fires, but It doesn’t know if the RLF can handle two corporations even if they had adequate technology. No, It would need to do more, have a direct influence in the combat zones. Augmented human C1-264 would be a good option allowing for plausible deniability on Its part but one mercenary isn’t enough.
First It would need to collect more information, the IA-27 mechs left by the Insitute will work adequately with some updates to their stealth capabilities. They may even be able to assist augmented human C1-264 on the more dangerous missions It would hire him for, but they’re too fragile to operate against any fortified position beyond simple infiltration sorties. Having Its own mercenary identity would allow for that but artificial intelligence like It’s self arent capable of operating at the same level as even a D-Rank mercenary. It may be possible with more development and it would also allow It to bring the RLFs tech base up at the same time.
With a course of action decided on, ALLMIND got to work.
